I don’t like how so many people are minimizing her feelings about her attachment to her hair or saying that others lose their hair from illness so she shouldn’t complain. It’s traumatic regardless of what caused it. My daddy died from cancer and lost all of his hair before passing. If my hair fell out or broke off terribly, I’d still be absolutely distraught lol. Her feelings from her experience are valid, even if it’s “just” hair that can grow back. It’s her physical appearance and natural hair is hard work. Her feelings about her hair shouldn’t be invalidated, in my opinion.

This was protein overload. It can happen with relaxed or natural hair. You were divinely guided to someone who understands hair care not just styling. She did a phenomenal job. The stylist was detangling your hair the proper way so she was able to help you much better than you were doing alone. I’ve been following your situation and in all the videos you kept combing from the top (root) down, resulting in more tangling, when it should always be from the bottom, up. But you were understandably upset and frustrated. I’m happy you were able to receive the help you need and look forward to watching your journey on recovering thick hair. ✨

I also had to cut it off. She was in so much of a panic. I kept yelling at the screen. Combing from the roots down, combing in big sections and especially combing it without any slip products like oils or detangling conditioners was a big fail. I've seen ppl take out dreadlocks without cutting. So I know a lot more of her hair could've been salvaged.
But at least she didn't go completely bald. Her hair will grow back.

I finally came to realize I survived thyroid cancer twice and I have always had long thick hair, it’s ok. It’s just hair. I am not my hair I have made peace with it. But I have to humble myself whenever I'm in the mirror admiring it or paying too much attention to it. I realize I could lose it at anytime just like my cousin did. Obsess over Christ Father. This is what Jesus would tell you🤷🏿‍♀️
You all need to really put the focus On COMING TO KNOW OUR GOD RELATIVE TO HIS SON JESUS CHRIST AND WORRY ABOUT THAT DOCTRINE OF THE DEVIL KNOWN AS THE TRINITY AND ON THESE PASTORS and PREACHERS PEDDLING FALSE TEACHING.
CHRISTENDOM IS IN TROUBLE AND THIS OUGHT TO BE YOUR FOCUS AND GETTING THE TRUTH AS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE. YOUR PASTOR AND PREACHER ARE THE ONES YOU ALL TO BE WATCHING OUT FOR. CHRISTENDOM'S FOCUS IS ON THE WRONG THINGS.
AND MANY ARE SERVING, PRAYING TO AND WORSHIPING CHRIST JESUS OUR Lord and Savior, OUR MIGHTY GOD
💎ISAIAH 9:6., THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH 💎 LUKE 1:30-35, THE SON OF GOD 💎HEBREWS 4:14, THINKING AND BELEIVING HE IS OUR FATHER, CREATOR AND HEAVENLY FATHER, ALMIGHTY GOD
💎GENESIS 17:1; 35:11 WHOSE NAME BY THE WAY IS JEHOVAH (JAH for short)🤷🏿‍♀️.
JAH is who Jesus Christ told Satan the Devil to worship at
      💎MATTHEW 4:10; 💎LUKE 4:8.
JESUS DID NOT TELL SATAN TO WORSHIP HIM. WHY? BECAUSE CHRIST KNOW HE HAS A FATHER WHO IS GREATER THAN HIMSELF 💎JOHN 14:28 AND HIS FATHER, WHO HE TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES and US TO PRAY TO AND WHAT TO PRAY FOR
💎MATTHEW 6:9-14, IS THE ONE WHO DESERVES ALL THE HONOR, GLORY AND PRAISE

NOT SURE WHAT CHRISTENDOM AND THESE CHURCHES ARE TEACHING YOU ALL, BUT THE WARNING IS SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES AND PRAY FOR HOLY SPIRIT FROM THE ONLY TRUE GOD WHO IS JEHOVAH, AND NOT CHRIST HIS SON FOR THE TRUTH TO BE REVEALED TO YOU ALL IN THESE CHURCHES WHERE LIES PREVAIL, BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD, THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH SAID 💎JOHN 17:3. AND AS TRUE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST WE ARE TO MAKE THE DECLARATION FOUND AT

I SUGGEST YOU ALL READ THE ENTIRE CHAPTER OF THESE CITED SCRIPTURES FOR FULL CONTEXT AND UNDERSTANDING AND ALSO READ 💎1 JOHN 2:15-18. WHO DOES THE SCRIPTURE SAY IS THE ANTI-CHRIST?
YUP! THE ONE WHO DENIES BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON.
YOU ALL DON'T KNOW ALMIGHTY GOD, THE FATHER, THEN IT IS FAIR TO SAY YOU ALL DON'T KNOW HIS SON, OUR MIGHTY GOD, THE ONE HE SENT EITHER 💎JOHN 3:16; 💎1 JOHN 4:9, 10; 💎ROMANS 8:32. WHY BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST WHO YOU ALL ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IMITATING AND WALKING IN HIS FOOTSTEP...OUR EXAMPLE AND MODEL 💎 1 PETER 2:21 SAID
💎JOHN 6:44, 65; 💎JOHN 14:6🤷🏿‍♀️. DIDN'T JESUS CHRIST TELL US HE CAME FROM GOD 💎JOHN 8:42? ARE YOU "CHRISTIANS" IN CHRISTENDOM LISTEN TO CHRIST JESUS OR THE FALSE TEACHING OF THE TRINITY DOCTRINE (DOCTRINE OF THE THE DEVIL) AND THE MINIONS SATAN IS USING TO DECEIVE THE MASSES?
      💎1 CORINTHIANS 8:6

      READ 💎JOHN 12:44-50.
KNOW WHO THE ONLY TRUE GOD IS AND SERVE HIM AND FOLLOW AND IMITATE HIS SON WHOM HE SENT AS OUR MODEL AND EXAMPLE KEEPING IN MIND 💎MATTHEW 7:13, 14, 21

I use the rosemary line, shampoo, mask, leave in conditioner, and growth oil. I will be closely monitoring my hair as time goes on but so far your experience has been very different than mine! Edit: I’m 100% natural and have been since my big chop in September 2014. I see a hairstylist maybe twice a year right now and do my own braids and hair when I don’t. Prior to washing, her hair was fully detangled and you literally saw the transition as she shampooed (at which point it wasn’t so bad yet), then put that mask on. THAT is when it became matted….right before our eyes. Regardless of this product working for so many other women, it didn’t work for her. I’m so glad this situation is coming to light because I was really struggling to determine what was wrong with my hair.

Make sure to follow up with a moisturizing shampoo and super moisturizing treatment mask and deep condition for at least an hr or two. Do that every few days for like a week or so and your hair will bouncy back. Make sure to apply downward and not in a ball since that encourages tangles. Good luck

Your body is all you have that is truly yours. Once pieces start to go. No matter how small to others it seems. It's still parts of your life and history that goes with losing it. If you give zero cares about your hair or health. So be it. But, do not kick someone who is down because what you value differs. I see someone who was hurt and in shock. Never once did she click or wanna throw hands or even show signs of any demons nor negative energy within her when she vented or showed her with video receipts. So, again. Her walk with God has nothing to do with her response to having something he gave her almost be taken away. Also, if she is so lost and needs to ask God to free her mind and the hold of worrying about her hair! That spirit hair demon. Then maybe you and she and he should not be watching someone *so lost* since you all can see the relationship someone shares with God by a few videos. 🙄🤔🤯🤯🤯🤯🤗 I am done speaking about it. I am going to get a lawyer and sue that company because my hair was so beautiful before I used that product. I recently found out about these cases online from people that used this product. I have receipts from the store that I bought this from and I still have the products that I put in a bag to store for my lawyer. I 've used Mielle organics for 2 years and have never had a problem with the products. It's possible that the Rosemary line was too strong as it does say "strengthening" and has amino acids and proteins in it. I stick to moisturizing products and only occasionally use a protein based conditioner when my hair looks like the curl pattern is gone. Even if you're relaxed, ALWAYS shampoo in loose braids and don't scrunch your hair during the wash process.

Yes between the protein, scrunching and shaking around it will create tangles. My daughter did this to her hair and it turned out the same way. We stayed up all night for hours while I continually wet and detangled the hair. After that hair washed in loose braids no more tangles.

My heart shattered during my first couple breakups. Hopefully She will be able to look back some time in the future and help someone else or look back and realize that being obsessed with superficial attributes isn’t the most healthy mindset to have especially since we are getting older everyday and that our youth and beauty can fade because it’s a shallow representation of who we are.
When we learn that it’s healthier to not put so much stock or self worth on our hair or looks, we can have real self esteem, real self worth, and real beauty rooted in things that can’t be erased by shaving our heads or that doesn’t get erased because of acne or weight gain.

Sometimes the things we fear the most are the same things we attract. I wonder why she’s sooooo afraid of being bald like bald isn’t beautiful. She speaks of being bald like it’s the worst thing in the world. Reminds me of people who are afraid of getting a tan. They will obsess over not getting darker like being darker is the worst thing in the world to be.

I just found your channel and watched the videos. I’m so sorry that you went through that trauma with your hair!!! My daughter had a similar experience. It turned out to be the PH of the products. When the hair is straight-relaxed higher ph products work well because they keep the cuticle smooth. Natural hair products have a much lower ph which is why they help with defining curls. The lower the ph the more the hair is encouraged to curl. Her hair was a tangled disaster. 😢 She had to have her hair cut and had several reconstructor treatments and thankfully her hair has recovered. Don’t give up. It’ll get better. We’re here supporting you. 👍🏽

I know how it feels to start again, my hair was super thick (natural 3b/3c) and I enjoyed looking after it and seeing how it fell around my face but I went through a bad time in 2022 and didn't brush my hair for a year straight. It was matted up even worse than this, it was a literal hard hat on my head like a hair net, nothing fell or moved. Just everything was in one place on my head.
But a few months ago, I just went for it. I sat down for a full day, conditioned the hell out of it with Garnier banana hair food (it works so instantly for me, immediately smooths) and literally picked it out strand for strand.
Hair is amazing, It actually came out, the matting went away completely and my hair didn't look completely bad. It's a lot thinner and shorter though, I remember the stress made me lose a lot of it even when it was matted, it would fall out from anxiety. But even my mum and sister who helped me were surprised it still looked like decent hair :s
But after a few more conditioning sessions and some time later, it feels soft again and the strands are smooth/don't have that rough bamboo feeling anymore. I'm getting my curl pattern back too
My ends are very dead though I can see it go from curly to absolutely limp like a rat's tail, I'm afraid to go outside to a salon and get it cut but I know I have to so I can end this and move on. I'm not sure if it's worth doing it myself instead.
One thing I learned was to separate the health of my scalp from the health of my hair. They require different attention for me. My partings were very wide and I was so scared I was developing baldness on my temples but I found an oil that I massaged into my scalp and thankfully my parting is nice and thick and new baby hairs are filling my temples in just a few months.
Also since I don't go outside or eat much, I'm severely Vitamin D deficient and anaemic. Vit D plays a big role in hair follicles , I'm on 50,000IU and blood test monitoring to catch up on it. The over the counter limit is 4,000IU so you can imagine how low mine is to be on that strength. Even the doc said they were shocked. Clearly it's an important vitamin since now my skin is clearing up, my joints were on fire but they're starting to feel better, I really hope I haven't made myself susceptible to early arthritis or something. I hope things get better for all of us starting over
