1. Jan Thiel Beach - a small beach filled with resorts, restaurants, bars, and lounging areas
2. Fort Beekenburg - a small fort built in 1703
3. Quarantine House - Built in 1882 as a quarantine station
4. Tugboat View - Great views of Caracasbaai, Tug Boat, and Fort Beekenburg!
5. Director's Bay - The best snorkeling on the island! (in our opinion!)
6. Punda Neighborhood (Willemstad) - A colorful, pedestrian-only neighborhood in Willemstad!
7. Punda Loves You Festival - An annual festival featuring music, art, and more!
8. Popcultr (Best Popsicles on the Island) - The popsicles are seriously legendary!
9. Round Market (Rund Market) - a covered stalls market.
10. Floating Market - sailors used bring their boats from Venezuela to sell their produce and goods here.
11. Pietermaai Neighborhood (Willemstad) - a neighborhood with a bit of interesting history!
12. Queen Emma Bridge - a pontoon bridge connecting Punda to Otrobanda.
13. Otrobanda Neighborhood (Willemstad) - another vibrant neighborhood!
14. Rif Fort - A historic fort dating back to the 19th century
15. Playa Santa Cruz - a local beach you can walk into and there is pretty good snorkeling!
16. Blue Room Cave - a cool snorkel spot!
17. Sint Michielsbaai - spot wild flamingos here!
18. Sint Willibrodus - the second location to spot wild flamingos!
19. Santa Martha Bay Lookout - a great lookout over Curacao!

Willemstad looks freakin’ incredible. The colors are so lovely! Man, you guys hit ALL the beaches. That lagoon snorkeling looks awesome, and YAY for sea turtles! Lastly, your hats are awesome!
You guys would LOVE it! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the South/Southern America region. I think it has direct flights from Florida, Panama, Colombia, & other Caribbean Islands!

We came very close to going there a few years ago but chose to go to Costa Rica instead. You are reminding me why I wanted to visit Curacao in the first place! The coastal views are beautiful
How did you like Costa Rica?? It’s still a fantastic choice in our opinion, and curaçao will definitely be there.. nature destinations can feel a bit fleeting. :)
@@IfWeGoTo Costa Rica is insane (if nature is your thing). I would go back in a heartbeat. The highlight of our trip was when we went on a 2 day trek and slept in a "cave" by a waterfall, deep in the jungle. Check it out ua-cam.com/video/URvkcKr5084/v-deo.html
The fort looks awesome! I also loved the underwater footage. Didn't expect gopro to be able to provide such a good quality underwater. I should do that more often, I guess. Oh, and that underwater cave.. maaaan! I need to add Curacao to my list now. haha!
The fort was so cool!! The GoPro footage is pretty heavily edited hahaha, but if you ever want tips on correction for it lmk!! I think yours would look way better since it’s a lot newer! This was on an old 5! Lol

Willemstad is so cool!! Out of the ABC islands I think it’s the most well-balanced. We have a soft spot for Bonaire, but we love diving. It’s hard to pick between those two! Guess it just depends!

We’ve been to curacao a couple of times. When we went in summer we never had mosquitoes. Last year we went in March there were quite a few. It depends on where you’re staying too, near the town and resorts there are likely to be less. A unit in a more natural area will probably have more. Would be best to pack or pick up some repellant if you’re worried! :)

I hope you realize you just gave us TONS of things to do for our trip here. We are barely a few minutes into the video and we are already pumped. Question for you: the car your rented, are they only available at the airport to rent or are there some around the island? Do you think it’s easy to do a day trip from Curaçao to Bonaire with a puddle jumper flight?

We got ours at the airport, but they have them at several locations! We just did the airport because it wasn’t worth the savings this trip!
I think it would be possible if the flight times worked. it’s a short flight. Though it may not be worth your time, pending on how much you have! Curacao is, in our opinion, a lot more well-balanced, has a lot more to do, & has most everything Bonaire has… But Bonaire is fantastic for diving (good for snorkeling too, but most of the really good stuff is kinda deep, visible, but 15-20ft minimum)

Definitely need a car if you’re staying in that location!! Otherwise I’d stay in town or at one of the resort areas! :)

Do you recommend a car if staying on a resort? Also how did you book your car ?
I think it depends on what you want out of your trip! If you plan on staying near the resort and relaxing it may not be necessary, but we would definitely recommend a car if you want to do some exploring and adventuring! There is a lot to see around the island!
We rented our car from sixt I think, just an online reservation and an easy pick up at the airport. :)

How much money do we need to travel with for visit
Hi!! I think it depends on what you want out of your trip and how long you want to stay! For us I’d say two weeks came in under $1200 with our accommodations, car, etc :). But we stayed in an airbnb, ate at home most meals, and went to the free beaches!
Hello, how much did the flight from Aruba to Curaçao cost?
I believe our fare was approximately $100USD per person, but fares can vary a lot!
