I’m denied cat ownership because of where I live. If I had one of these, I’d just feel so sad. I just want a real cat. Nothing compares to that companionship.
@@thisdeathmany people rent the place they are staying, and often landlords don't allow pets in their buildings. It probably has something to do with fur or damage caused by having an animal or something. Idk.
My apartment doesn’t allow animals, but here’s how I still got them without getting in trouble. Since they of course allow service animals I was able to talk to my therapist, and she agreed, so she said it’s an emotional support cat, which is technically still a service animal, so we were allowed to have them. So maybe you could try that!
I see a lot of people here saying they want a Marscat and I want to warn them of what they could end up with. I recently bought a Marscat (received Jan 9/23) and it hasn't been a good experience so far. I saved up for it for almost a year. When I got it two weeks ago, first problem out of the box was that they sent me an AC adapter which is supposed to have red and green charger indicator lights but didn't. The adapter is the only way you can tell if the Marscat is charged. There are no charge lights on the Marscat or the charging stand. When I turned the Marscat on, it wouldn't stay connected to Bluetooth for more than 10 seconds, which means I can't use the Marscat app. Also, it wouldn't respond to verbal commands even though it could "see" its toys. But the worst was when the Marscat started rebooting over and over after less than 5 minutes of operation. It would just stop in its tracks, eyes would turn black and it would collapse to the floor, then turn on and get back up again. Lather rinse repeat every 2 minutes. Good luck getting warranty support from Elephant Robotics! First of all they expect customers with defective merchandise to pay the cost of shipping back to ER in China, even if any defects are clearly Elephant Robotics' fault. That means $400 USD to ship from the US or Canada. Secondly they are slow to respond to emails (it takes at least a week to get a reply), their English skills are poor because they use an online translator, and they try to blame the malfunctions on the customer "not knowing how to use the product". They tried to tell me that the Bluetooth problem is normal, same with the AC adapter having no lights. They've ignored my complaint about the failure to respond to commands and Marscat restarting itself. I sent a second email about that after they didn't respond to the first a week later. It's now been over a week without a response to my last email. Their warranty is only 90 days, so I suspect they may be stringing me along on purpose until my warranty runs out. I don't want to turn the Marscat on because I'm afraid it's restarting due to overheating and could be unsafe. So it sits in its box.... waiting... for Elephant Robotics to take responsibility for the $2000+ piece of junk they sent me. It's a shame, because during the brief time I tested the Marscat I liked it and had started to become attached to it - even though I already have living cats.
Update - it's now been three months since I wasted my money on this junk. Elephant robotics wasted a month of my warranty period sending me a "new" battery which was older than the 2 year old battery that came with the Marscat. Now that the "new" battery hasn't worked, they've blown me off by telling me that the problems with my Marscat are "software bugs" which won't be fixed until hell freezes over. I've found other dissatisfied customers who had exactly the same problems with their Marscats, and are being given exactly the same runaround being sent 2 year old batteries and told to cool their heels waiting for non-existent "bugs" to be fixed. Stay away from this company, they have zero business ethics and will take your money leaving you with nothing in return. Don't buy any of their products unless you like losing your money.

A new version of the marscat should have real moving paws, fur coated, voice activation, and maybe artificial intelligence, and also emotions like a real cat

I say, my cat sometimes also works like this. It’s a good thing if you can’t be obligated to take care of a cat, or is allergic to real cats. He’s a bit cute lol
This is exactly how my cat, Lucky acted a few days before he died. He wasn’t so lucky. If I were you, I’d take it to the vet. There’ has to be a reason why your cat is moving like a robot.
Hi Actually got a question about Aibo ERS-1000. Is it ok to buy a second-hand? Can I initialize it? From your other video, you said Aibo's model number cannot be re-entered on the app. I have a few other questions about Aibo, is there any other way I can reach you? Thanks!
As these get more realistic, it might be a nice companion for my cat during the day while I'm working on the computer. I don't know if I would leave it on while I was at work, but it could give my cat some exercise to play with.
🇧🇷 Sorry, but this thing is far , far away to be 1/1000 from what a real cat is. It is extremely expensive and NEVER will give the real love a real cat can give you.🇧🇷
Yeah, it needs to scratch the furniture, and knock plates and things off of surfaces, and get in front of your computer screen and put it's tail in your face to get your attention, actually it might do the last thing and get in front of you to get your attention, but it's good for people that can't have a cat either cause of their place not allowing pets, or cause of a serious allergy to cats
I don’t know, you’d think the manufacturer would add fur to the body so it at least feels like a cat…felt on the feet would probably stop the dragging noise too.
Have you ever had a real cat? You might want to watch some cat behavior videos to translate this kitty's actions. They don't like their fur rubbed backwards. He was grooming himself when he rubbed his face with his paw. Try slow blinking with him so he knows you love him. Real cats don-t do what you want all the time either and they sleep most of the time.
That sideways move where it looks like he’s falling over. He’s trying to recalibrate that’s a normal thing for all eyes ivy dogs to do which is what this cat was built on.
i really am crazed by the fact that they dont add fur to these robots,it just takes the fun of feeling that silky groomed fur away unlike an actual cat.
You need more basic commands Probably should have charged him up to save on reboots I don't own a MARScat but I have owned actual cats in the past and they required more basic commands

He stops suddenly and just stands perfectly still for no apparent reason... He's just like a real cat.
It’s certainly noisy lol (think I like the black one better than the other colors)
THIS IS SO CUTE!!! but it doesn't leave me wondering how the world can bring fnaf to life....
I say, my cat sometimes also works like this. It’s a good thing if you can’t be obligated to take care of a cat, or is allergic to real cats. He’s a bit cute lol
Cute Aw at least no litter box to clean..very interesting. Thank you
this robo-cat is so cuteeeee😻😻😻
where did you find him?
he acts just like a normal cat! it's awesome!
It’s from Elephant Robotics, you can look them up online!
@@Kittenwingiskool thx
This is exactly how my cat, Lucky acted a few days before he died. He wasn’t so lucky. If I were you, I’d take it to the vet. There’ has to be a reason why your cat is moving like a robot.
Because it is a robot
Hi Actually got a question about Aibo ERS-1000. Is it ok to buy a second-hand? Can I initialize it? From your other video, you said Aibo's model number cannot be re-entered on the app. I have a few other questions about Aibo, is there any other way I can reach you? Thanks!
As these get more realistic, it might be a nice companion for my cat during the day while I'm working on the computer. I don't know if I would leave it on while I was at work, but it could give my cat some exercise to play with.
Marscat: ooo mai foods bowl
Marscat 2 seconds later: ima crash
I'm wondering what a robot cat needs with a food bowl. 😊 And what do you feed a marscat? 😅
The robot cat looks like Sox in Lightyear
So ture
He’s so cute❤ you should name him something else instead of marscat, like mr.kitty! :)
Damn, they could've at least wrapped her in some bubblewrap against the scratches
I don't know much about these, but with the price you paid, I think it really needs to improve.
I can totally see that in a garage sale.
This feels more and more like unboxing CandyCat 😆
We love cats together with my family, but this "device" is a nightmare 🙈
I agree. 🙈 real cats better than that thing anyway any day.
I love it but it needs to have less sad sounds and I feel like it’s movements could be improved but that might just be a physical issue
Great video! Can you try comparing her and aibo?
What are the benefits of such products ?
🇧🇷 Sorry, but this thing is far , far away to be 1/1000 from what a real cat is. It is extremely expensive and NEVER will give the real love a real cat can give you.🇧🇷
Wow its almost like its supposed to be a robot
@@sodapailYes, but a robot that can match up with a real cat would be an even better product.
Lol I dont get your problem. It is a toy. The end.
@@onidaaitsubasa4177the owners would probably sold it because it’s just breaking their furniture they probably want a cat that doesn’t break stuff
Do you need to swap the qr boards over? Looks like he went into sleep mode with the food bowl. Sleep….cloud?
Ahahah 😹😹😹 He just looks at you and meows 😹😹😹 If this robot starts acting like a cat, it could probably break itself😹😹😹
are there any improvements to the walking? seems very clumsy
How much money was the Marscat?
just buy a cat
I don't mind that they look so chunky, I just wish that it's movements were more fluid because it looks like it struggles to move around😅
I want this more realistic with fur.
Amazing! A wonderful little friend.😊
the robot seems to be making some high pitched noises when it's operating (kinda like an old TV?), but it could just be my imagination
I can hear it too e.e
I don’t know, you’d think the manufacturer would add fur to the body so it at least feels like a cat…felt on the feet would probably stop the dragging noise too.
This video really upsets my dog
I Love the cat
Lol
M
Dog be:
🖕😡
The dog: I will commit murder. Me: *coffin dancing when the dog swallows the robot cat*
Hey I’m not sure if ya even remember me, but I still have the “Phantom Of the Opera” Cybie!
I have 8 cats sooooo……yeah.
I love yr Mars cat where did you get the mascara
How much does it cost I was thinking of getting one
680
@@itsmesilvia3533 dollar?
That sideways move where it looks like he’s falling over. He’s trying to recalibrate that’s a normal thing for all eyes ivy dogs to do which is what this cat was built on.
Meow 😻 is the one that has the right thing to do and it was the only time that we got it in our 📦
i really am crazed by the fact that they dont add fur to these robots,it just takes the fun of feeling that silky groomed fur away unlike an actual cat.
my cats feels jealous if i have this while they actually can do more 😂
You need more basic commands
Probably should have charged him up to save on reboots
I don't own a MARScat but I have owned actual cats in the past and they required more basic commands
He is so cute 😍 😍😊😊😊😊
In the 60s EVERY kid would have gone crazy for this thing.
Aww this is so cute I should get one❤❤❤❤
How much is it?
@@typicalasian2730 I think $90.78
THAT'S SO COOL, HOW MUCH IS THAT GOING TO SET ME BACK AND WHERE CAN I FIND IT
