How Builder's Sales Team FOOLS YOU into thinking that YOU OWE THEM MONEY -- Flat Buyers Beware!

The sales staff of under-construction project builders deliberately create confusion that you are in a contractual relationship with them, even though you are not. Unwary people who wander into builders' sales offices innocently, often without any intention of actually booking a flat, end up swiping a token for lakhs of rupees in a moment of poor judgement. Later, when they try to correct their decision by cancelling the booking and seeking a refund of their token or booking amount, they are told that the builder can and will FORFEIT their token, booking amount or Expression Of Interest (EOI) amount. This is unlawful and illegal, but it is being done almost every builder -- even well known builders like Godrej, Lodha, Runwal, Prestige, Purvankara, M3M, Signature Global, etc.

In addition to this I have observed that builders use very good quality material to build the sample flat but when any customer buys another flat seeing the sample flat and pays additional for the interior, then the quality of material is inferior to the sample flat. This needs to stop
