I think this is the best video this group has put out. Catherine the bartender although a small part was real and genuine in her part. She made me want to see more of her. Philip who plays Monica loves doing these parts. He wrote this and I enjoyed his zinger at the end. Frank who plays the Chief shines in his part. This is his moment. And he revels in it. Ron Millkie, the man with the beret, always surprises me. He can do accents effortlessly. He’s an Actors Actor. I look forward to seeing more of these original films. Wylie Weeks
The scenery and settings are always phenomenal with Scrudato Productions! Val did a knockout job and is gorgeous. Monica was an absolute doll but I wish when the detective had starting calling her weak and was struggling with Val that she would have kicked his butt and showed him that she’s beautiful but not weak. And just from seeing other Scrudato films I knew when the detective walked in right after Monica came in from being attacked that he was the killer. But I truly did enjoy the film. Like I said the settings are always perfect and set just the right mood for each film.
I love this film, I did jump when we first saw the killer, but that’s what jump scare is for. I love the Monica character, she’s the new Scream Queen of 2023, so move out Jamie Lee Curtis, but her screaming makes me laugh, Ron Millkie love his performance, he seems odd from the start when they met at the bar, Catherine character I like, I like her caring personality like Carrie’s teacher in Carrie, the detective looks creepy and got more creepier at the end. I want to see more of Monica, like Monica 2, this time she Kills
I thought the lead over acted his part. the one playing monica was ok. but the outstanding unsung role in this was that of the bartender. She was believable as a friend and a professional bartender. I liked her character very much
In my honest opinion I believe that there was a lot what I call forced acting. I thought the whole point of acting was to make it seem as natural as possible and there was a lot of overacting in the scenes. I personally think the more natural the character the better the film. When the killer/detective comes to see Monica the first time he screams MONICA in a way I can’t even describe other than extremely weird and forceful. I know you were probably trying to make him seem a little creepy but creepy can be expressed in various ways. Like maybe in his demeanor in a more subtle way. Honest opinion I think my mom Catherine did a good job at being natural with her acting skills and I’ve never been afraid to let her know how I feel about her acting skills. I kinda wonder if maybe the film was rushed and not enough practice time spent on the scenes. I love watching y’all’s short film work and looking forward to hopefully seeing a redo on this film.
The Chief was overacting I agree, I liked the bartender most believable character. Seemed a bit far-fetched , was not that great. Seems like if it was a bit longer and the characters were made more believable it might have been better.

I love doing the makeup on this film and helping everyone get into character.

The guy with the sigaretta was over action he coulden shut up and slow down.
But all in all, it was bad. I just don't care for scarry movies.
It was suspenseful. Not scary
I thought the bartender was great the blonde one was over acting
