I think he intentionally took a back seat on this track to give Doja the spotlight. We all know an Abel feature usually means it becomes his song, but this was a good balance.
Doja is used to outshine in some features too i just think his voice probably wouldn't fit the last chorus, but idk....

I'm glad doja is exploring themes with more depth in her music rather than it all about sex and bodies, even though that's still a large part of her image it makes me excited for her progression as a more serious artist

@@josh-ld1uw I agree there’s nothing wrong with it now and then, I guess I just have more interest in an artist when they have a mixture of songs with sexual themes and some that have more emotion or driven by deeper meaning because if they’re all about sex it lacks diversity and creativity for me. So I’m just glad she is opening up more about other stuff too in her songs.
I still don’t know whether I think female singers singing about how attractive their bodies are is empowering for women to own their sexuality or just reiterates the idea that they’re made to please men, it’s a fine line for me

weeknd's verses were crazy, kinda hoped that half of the song was given to abel and near the end of the song, both Doja and Abel singing back and forth, exchanging verses considering that the overall structure of the song was made to suit or cater to abel's vocals as stated by Doja herself

The sign of the Libra is represented by The Scales which you saw balancing her heart and gold.
