@@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL I know what you mean. The prop sounds the way it does because the tips are transonic. So we put a gearbox between the engine and the prop to reduce the propellor speed and thus the noise. Engine sounds amazing, prop sound is horrible

I loved the sound of the engines, brings back childhood memories .
I only saw Matt perform his routine once and that was at Thunder Over Dover 2019. A stormy and cloudy sky so visibility wasn't the best. I'd like to see him perform again, this time similar to the video above!

Smooth and graceful aerobatics..beautiful flying, even with a "this side up" plane restricted to positive G manuvers these wonderful arcs can be blissfully carved through the sky..like in a 2 blade helicopter, keeping positive G all times.

I have hundreds of jumps out of twin beach but back in the 70 a lot where grounded because the wing spars where very fragile and had to be replaced.
Underrated channel!
Nothing like buzzing props and snarling radials to punctuate a fantastic show of airmanship. Who woulda thunk a Beech 18 could do all that and not lose its wings?
That plane’s prop noise is like hearing 2 T-6s lol but still, IMO the T-6 sounds cooler
I wonder if those engines get oil hungry or if he had a way around that?
