    This video showed me everything I wanted to know before I purchase. I really wanted to see the pressure of the steam and its powerful enough for what I want it for.

    Thank you so much for making this video. I got one of these machines several years ago and I couldn’t figure out how to use it. It has been in my closet since. And now, 6 years later I can finally use it!

    I have parrots and this machine is a game changer for deep cleaning their aviary. The grime melts away. Question,: The user manual recommends descaling the boiler every 300 hours of use or every 6 months. I can't find any info. about how to do this or what descaling product to use. Please explain this process.

    So do I need to fill the chemical side and the water boiler side even if I am not adding chemicals. That's what I understood from the instruction manual. I'm afraid to use it! Because I'm uncertain.

    This works great but the handle was definitely made for a man’s hand; it’s too big for my hand. Continuing to have to hold down the steam function down with your thumb left my thumb feeling sore after a few minutes. It’s very uncomfortable if you have a small hand. I’ve asked this company to tell me what kind of solution one can use that doesn’t result in a lot of foam. No answer. But if you use something that foams, it makes a mess and you have to empty the reservoir every few minutes. Also I still can’t figure out how to attach the small round brushes to anything to clean grout. If anyone has answers please let me know. Thanks.

    Great video! My unit, on the non-vacuum hose/handle, only has one button.... I can only get steam and I have to hold the button in. Is this an earlier model perhaps? Could I buy a new handle/hose and be able to get injection and steam? - thank you.

    Short story. I took my son in law to the airport and kept his car for a 6 mos. tour. He brought his fish over for me to keep as well, spilling about a gallon of 'fish water' on his front seat. A month before he returned I thought I would start the car and drive it around the block. OMG. In Florida summer heat there was black mold that looked like stalactite and stalagmite over the entire car. It was sickening. As a caring MIL, I bought this machine and cleaned every inch of the interior. It worked amazingly well. I used an enzyme cleaner (Amazon) and mold/mildew product to hopefully keep anything else from growing. The steam alone cleaned everything but detailed it like it was my car. The price was about what someone would have charged me to clean it, I'm sure. It was worth every penny. None of this would have happened had I remembered he spilled that water. It smelled fishy, so I know that was it. The car was only about two years old, too. Product is great in my opinion.

    Just got mine yesterday, only been messing with it a few hours but dang that injection tank runs empty with the quickness as well as steam pressure. The continuous fill is nice though compared to my vx5000. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it and it can replace the vx5000 and mytee tempo.

    • @Boyo1956
      @Boyo1956 4 роки тому

      I had a MyTee with continuous fill. Complete garbage machine and service.
      The steamer arrived DOA. I was assured that I would get a brand new replacement, but they sent me back my machine instead.
      The floor tool would bend and the hose and attachments were exactly the same as a cheap "Polti" steamer that sold for under $100.00, yet this machine cost me $1,600.00 Canadian. It took over a year to sell it and all I got was $325.00. Never again would I buy that brand!

    • @Boyo1956
      @Boyo1956 4 роки тому

      How do you like the new steamer compared to you VX5000?
      All plastic concerns me with steam.

    • @KWW0321
      @KWW0321 4 роки тому +3

      @@Boyo1956So I got mine to try and fill the role of steamer and extractor in one machine. Unfortunately it didn't work all that well for professional use as a steam extractor. For personal home use it would be great but with how quickly the steam pressure depletes when using as an extractor it was slowing me down big time. To give you an idea for an average sized car mat you will get maybe 3-4 passes before having to wait for pressure to build back up. I ended up just getting a mytee 8070 for my extractor and still use this for steam but will be getting another vx5000 due to the smaller size and longer hose. If you are set on a steam extractor I would go with a 220v machine to keep the pressure up. As far as build quality these are extremely well built. The other downside is the recovery tank can be a pain to separate from the boiler housing once it gets a little dirty causing it to stick. My main gripe was I spoke to the sales rep prior to purchasing and was told specifically it would have no issue keeping up with professional use as a steam extractor which is simply not true.

      @@superk734 I’d suggest distilled water because it’s been demineralized so it won’t build up minerals in the boiler and possibly ruin it.
