There’s no need to get your checked baggage (requires immigration check) if you have a multiple airlines in your same itinerary as you will be issued boarding passes from your first airline you will fly with, unless you book a separate flight which I don’t recommend if you plan to have check-in luggage. There’s nothing wrong making a reservation to a third party sites as they abide by the IATA regulations.

Hello po. Planning to book po kasi flight from clark to taiwan. Kaso puro meron silang stops. PAL po. First from clark to cebu then cebu to manila then manila to taipei. Dadaan po ba ako ng immigration sa lahat ng yan or sa Clark lang po? Thabj you
@@allenlesterdavid1390, I think you will only go through Cebu immigration as clark to Cebu is considered domestic. If you plan on going out of Manila airport, then you need to go through immigration. I was wondering why spent more money to that kind of itinerary when you can just use MNL to TPE? Clark P2P bus to NAIA terminals cost only 380 pesos.

I'm flying eva airlines from Canada to the Philippines. Only have 1:45 layover on Taipei. My connecting flight is also with eva.Arrival at terminal 2 and connection is also at terminal 2 with the same airline. I hope all will go well.
Just arrived in Manila four days ago on ANA airlines. At check in at Lis Angeles airport was just asked for OHP and vaccine card - I'm boosted - not asked for insurance or onward ticket , I'm staying 37 days. They were up to date on all the new travel requirements to enter the Philippines. At Haneda airport in Japan you just follow the signs for transit passengers, go through a security check where they check you passport and plane ticket then you go to your next gate to catch your flight to the Philippines. No other documents asked for. Upon landing in Manila it took about 15 minutes to get from the plane to being outside getting a taxi. Show OHP I-I received my QR code just before boarding my flight to Japan. Go to immigration, go downstairs to get your luggage and you're done - easy peasy

Hi! I have a flight to Manila on the first week of July. Atlanta-Chicago-Tokyo-Manila. I am quite worried about the layover in Japan. I will be arriving and leaving Tokyo both in Haneda Airport and in the same terminal. I will have a 10-hour layover, from 3:30pm to 1:30am. I wanna clarify again, I don't need pcr tests and other requirements for the layovers and only need to follow the requirements by the Ph, right? Answers will be highly appreciated as it will be my first time travelling alone :(

Our flight is on June 10 omg lapit na and we're j&j vaccinated with Moderna booster....travelling from Omaha to Atlanta then Atlanta to incheon ...incheon to Manila,,hopefully mabilis lang ang process...even if dina kailangan ang antigen test ...gagawin padin namin to make sure lang na walang aberya ..baka kasi bigla bigla nalang hi hingin...anyways thanks sa mga uploads mo so helpful for ofw and non. I bought Hel-bkk with baggage at about 450€ return. Bkk-mnl-dvo was 180€ return.
I have continuous travel-incurance, with flights and baggage covered. 120€/year.
Thai pass done, 4h wait.
It was a big save, Hki-Mnl was about 1000€. Dvo 1100-1200...
Of course nowadays you must check airport/country rules, if your flights are not in one ticket. But if you do, no problems. Unless flights are late, but that is covered. It only come a little headache to buy new tickets.

We didn’t know that the flight we booked need to transfer to Haneda, we were coming from San Diego to Tokyo, then Haneda to Manila. Fortunately Japan airlines were able to change the flight right when we check in that we don’t need to get out of the airport and instead he rebook the flights for us without any additional fee but lay over was 10 hrs. U.S did not need any pcr test, but in Tokyo they asked for Travel Certificate, Negative PCR, MySoS registration.

Before the Pandemic, Incheon Airport operated free guided bus tours to downtown Seoul for passengers who had long layovers. That was great; I hope they start giving the tours again soon. Much better than spending 9 hours in the Terminal!
Hi Josh, those tours are awesome! I had enough time to do two different tours back to back during my layover a couple of years ago. Gyeongbokgung Palace and a Seoul city tour.
@@1962milkman When I transited Incheon in March of this year the signs and brochures for the tours were still posted around the Terminal but the actual tours were still suspended because of COVID-19. Bummer! Incheon is still one of the more comfortable airports but I'd rather be allowed to take the free tours.

jen why you not talk about IAFT resolution 168 as per the said resolution reciprocal arrangement with certain countries has been removed, you can email bureau of Quarantine to check by yr self .

Hi Jennifer, we really appreciate all your efforts to keep us updated on the travel rules in the Philippines. However, based on their track record, they’ve made changes at the last minute that even people en route to the Philippines were made to comply with those changes. Like that time they were only required to do 3 days quarantine, but when they arrived in manila, it had been changed to 5 days. We would not want to run into a similar situation.
With the virus cases slowly coming back up, we’re walking on thin ice and I wouldn’t be too sure that they will not require covid test for fully vaccinated and boosted passengers at the last minute. With that said, the $65 per test I would spend will be worth it.
Excellent as always. It's really important not to book on 3rd party websites. Not only cause of the covid requirements. In case of problems during the travel many airlines dont feel responsible if you didnt book direcetly. and it's just a little more expensive, sometimes even cheaper to book directly.

My cousin just traveled to Philippines via ANA , layover in Japan and he was asked to provide the negative RT PCR test.

Going to Australia is simple now for fully vaccinated. I checked yesterday all that is required is a online digital form to fill out..... Back to the Philippines just the OHP if fully vaccinated with booster, if no booster then you need a covid test to enter.

My 2nd flight to the Philippines is this coming September 29th and I will also be going this time to non-stop from LAX to MNL. I usually stay overnight in Manila and fly out the next morning because I land in Manila around 8:00 PM , then I go to the hotel and go to sleep and I wake up the next morning and that way I don't have any jet lag and I'm on Philippines time then . I go have breakfast in the morning and then I go back to MNL and get on my flight this time to Davao . Last time I went to Cebu first. But I'll be staying mostly in Davao this time.
I ended up with both flights to the Philippines with great prices because I buy both my tickets 6 months in advance . But I'm sure glad that PAL has non-stop flights from Los Angeles to Manila.

I booked a flight US to PH but have a layover in TAIWAN, I canceled that flight because they do not accept any transit passenger. Please avoid that connecting flight.
Good to know, I have used EVA stopping at TAIPIA, TAIWAN in the past.
Why is Priceline still selling connecting flights in Taiwan (EVA) from US to PH if Taiwan is closed for transit passengers?

Hi there. Bigla akong nag worry kasi bukas ang alis ko from Norway to Pinas via KLM transit sa Amsterdam then transit via Singapore airlines. Kahapon I received an email from Singapore airlines na travelers going to Phils must take PCR o antigen test. I guess depende pa din sa mga airlines talaga kung kailangan ng negative test or not. So I booked antigen test na lang sa airport. Thanks for sharing updates.

@@gdiaries826 yes po. Hinanap lang po ng Turkish Airlines sa Istanbul is yung Vaccination Proof mo, pag may booster no need for pcr/antigen. Sa Pinas naman is one health pass bar code/qr code and vaccination proof. Napakasmooth po ng process namin, walang hassle basta ready lahat ng requirements.

Interesting topic. I chose this time From Boston to New York. Then I go direct from New York to Manila. In past I have few layovers but with covid I booked direct with PAL even though 17 hours direct I felt more comfortable with this way. I only have 2 hours layover to davao. Total 22 hours. In past through Travelocity Itinerary always saw flights with long layover in Dubai and total travel time of 40+ hours. I am not looking forward to same seat for 17 hours but bought superior economy hoping little more comfortable seat.

Upon arrival po yun, sa PH immigration. Bring your old PH passport or PSA birth cert and ask for balikbayan privilege (1 year stay) from the Immigration Officer.

Hello I have2 transitting are Hawaii and Guam.. only one airline which is United.. sa website or app ..stating need require 48 pcr or 24 hr antigen... Kind of confusing I have already 2 boosters .. I will get stop in Guam for requirements.. UNITED need update there requirements rule before boarding
