If Britanic was Titanic's sister, ie with the same water tight compartments, why did she sink from the mine? Assuming your animation is accurate that mine only compromises one compartment which the ship should have easily been able to survive?

The hull was twisted, making it impossible to close 2 doors. it damaged more than 1 compartment. This model makes no sense.
