It's just banter and people can usually tell if the intent is actually cruel or not
Emily is so quick witted, poor Dawyne got a little bullied - although he took it very well.
He was only able to “[take] it so well” because he had an IQ to rival anyone in show biz but understood this crowd was hers. We can make a 50 year wager now if you’d like. I’ll wager Dwayne is still impactful versus this actress who will be remembered fondly.

What does fame, popularity or anything else have to do with how quick someone is?
It was not an insult to him (seen him in a few interviews and he is both charming, witty and certianly not slow or dim), it is more of a comment on how quick witted she is, probably half a second quicker than Dawyne.
He was being nice, he let her win. If you go back and see his old WWE tapes, and you will see how quick-witted he is! Many of his comebacks became famous catch phrases!

They've probably done like ten similar interviews before this and it gets repetative and a bit awkward. Trying to find new ways of answering the same questions it always end up with this kind of nonsense.

Emily certainly showed her Devil Wears Prada Emily when DJ was asked if he was running for president. I think their chemistry was forced. Dwayne was certainly far more courteous and professional. She was a bit snooty.

I agree with this. Even in wrestling. He's always been super charismatic and funny, and he really appears to have a good chemistry with most co-workers. I just never feel a "sexual" threat or spark between him and his female co-stars. He always comes off as goofy, bearlike big brother type.
