They really should have, everyone but the Haterade-chugging workrate marks loved Softball Sid and he didn't have heat with Vince or anything that I know of.
@@marvinleong5902 tbh ive always heard more about kevin sullivan's personal life and backstage role so im not as familiar with his career sans shoots. as an actual wrestler how good was he?

I'm very sorry to hear that buddy. It'll be most difficult at this time of year especially, and his birthday. But you'll likely and hopefully feel this urge to really do something incredible as time goes on, if your sorted career wise, maybe experiences you just haven't partaken in, haven't found time for etc. Time heals.

Writing from Halifax area. Speaking of Al Zinck, also RIP to Leonce Cormier (Leo Burke). He was such a draw in Atlantic Canada where he was originally from. Went on to train so many others. In my view, his broadway with Rick Martel at the Halifax Forum is one of the greatest matches ever. It's all over UA-cam. That match was part of promotion Al Zinck was running, as I understand it. Edit - I think the “gassed” show Jim was referring to happened at Harbour Station in Saint John New Brunswick. But I’m not 100% confident of this.
@@misterpricklyI’ll never forget seeing him turn up on Atlantic Grand Prix tapings. He was a wild dude and knew how to entertain. I never saw him live during the summer tours of Atlantic Canada. Wished we could have.
It sounds like it would have been a real treat to be there for the Jim Cornette-Ole Anderson sniping live, and then go on to see them do business together in different companies and find a mutual enemy in Eric Bischoff. Shame Ole didn't stay in the public spotlight long enough to join Jim after Jim's falling out with Dave Meltzer.
Killer Khan is such a weird foreign heel gimmick. Japan was one of the few countries to actually repel the Mongols. How much fear and hatred did the Japanese have for Mongolia really? Props to the man for pulling it off, but it's like having an evil Mountie in the United States.
