LOVE THIS!! Glittering the letters just gives it that EXTRA AMAZING-NESS🤩❣️😆 Thank You SO Much for Sharing!! I’m SO Ready to Create some Bright Neon Summer Tumblers🌈🥰 Hopefully My shape tape will be here next week 🤞🏼🙏🏼 As Always BEAUTIFUL! Have a Wonderful Mothers Day Weekend with Your Mom💞
The letters are awesome, good idea, I’m sorry I can’t put my neon tumbler before deadline, it’s hard with my broken ankle to get upstair and get it done, will you have something for May?
Thank you so much! 💗 I try to just let myself have fun with stuff. Sometimes I’ll start on something and have no idea where to take it, and then randomly have an idea pop into my head. I just go for it and see what happens! Most of the time it works out but sometimes it doesn’t lol
I love watching your videos, if only I can get the epoxy down , I will be good. I used the same epoxy as you and I love it but for some reason it’s very sticky once I spray alcohol on it to clean it up. It feels smooth at first . Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I used a kitchen scale to measure and make sure my warm temp is 70-75 degrees, I mix for 4min change up and stirring item. Just don’t know why my cups still feel sticky 😞
Most epoxies are measured by volume not weight. By the sounds of it that's where the problem is. You want to mix equal parts using a medicine cup, or something that has ml measurements on it. When mixing by weight you're not getting equal parts because one part weighs more than the other. Hopefully that makes sense & helps. I believe Mal has a video showing how she mixes epoxy in one of her tutorials.
What Pearl said - most epoxies you’ll need to measure by volume, not weight. If you prefer to weigh it out, you can measure say, 15 ml in your cup and see how much it weighs, write that number on your bottle and then just weigh your epoxy moving forward. I did that for a long time! But I think it’s easier to just measure by volume. Everything else you’re doing sounds right! Hopefully changing the way you measure will help ❤️

@@pearlsullivan5725 Ty that does makes sense. I do use a measured cup but you was correct, I was weighing it and the resin is heavy then the hardened.
