Honestly you are such a great content producer. You get straight to the point, you don't mislead with your titles, you provide heaps of extra advice to help people out, you even made sure to reference the laser lightshow video. Just all round A+ content from an A+ human
the only problom i have is that he dosent put links but i understand why. sometimes finding links is difficult. a link can stop working. and he shows the product so its a hunt for some of them but thats the only problem. ive watched this video since i got a switch in 2019 because it gives me ideas and his accent is gooooooooooood
When I bought my switch, I bought 2 games, a carrying case, and a glass screen protector. That screen protector and case helped a ton because a week later, we went to Mexico for vacation and there was a lot of sand and dirt everywhere and the screen protector did it’s job really well.
That sounds exactly like me (switch came with a screen protector and 1 game, I bought another game and a case all together) and now I am scared that you are me from an alternate dimension
I absolutely recommend tempered glass screen protectors for the Switch, and I recommend buying them WITH your Switch, as they will protect your screen for ages. I take my switch out of its dock repeatedly, and the tempered glass on my screen is so nice, there's not even a scratch on it.
When I saw longer battery life I thought it was an adjustment to the hardware to actually make the battery life last longer rather than a portable charger
Did you guys know my mate vice is the reason why I have really good protective accecories on my switch thanks vince for the decision I made you seriously saved my switch I hope you save others switches too! Good luck Vince
You should always use USB-C to charge the Switch. Using regular USB-A to USB-C will ALWAYS limit it to 0.5a charging. Which unless you aren't using it will NOT charge the switch.
It's impossible to provide 5V 4A via USB A. As long as you stick to specifications, at least. USB BC 1.2 can do 5A but your device has to support it ( The Switch does not. )
Yes but because the USB-C to USB-A cable has 56kohm resistor it will always negotiate to the battery pack that 500mA is it's max charge rate. At least if you are using the USB-C to USB-A cable that comes with the Switch or any ( to specification ) USB-C to USB-A cable.
Hey Vince, Do you know if I can use any USB C cable to charge my switch and any mobile charger such as one that has a 2.1 voltage. I feel like using the wrong cable and the incorrect voltage might break the Charging port. Much appreciated.
I paid 7 bucks on ebay for a tempered glass protector...it has protected my Switch perfectly, no dock scratches or regular wear scratching. Looks as new as when I got it on launch day, can't even tell it is there until you see the outer border. I want a pro controller with the Xbox elite joysticks, would be nice to have a few options for stick covers.
Hey Vince, I remember seeing somewhere in your Switch videos a way to remove the grip from the joycon grip to make it more portable, but can't seem to find it, would you be able to point me to it?
Oh yeah, I think that was in the video where I did 10 things you might not know about the Nintendo Switch. If I am wrong let me know and I will hunt it down. You need a tri-wing and a little crosshead screwdriver.
Analog stick covers? Two words: Kontrol Freeks. I'll leave a few links to some. They make them for various systems, including both the Joycons and Switch Pro Controller. www.kontrolfreek.com/thumbsticks/turbo-nintendo-switch-joy-con-thumb-grips.html www.kontrolfreek.com/thumbsticks/fps-freek-inferno.html
I personally can also recommend the Skull & Co joysticks as it offers a lot of height and 3 different variants. I know they don't ship to the UK though as my friend tried to buy them. You can find them on amazon.
The problem is you need 15volts for it to 'dock' to the TV. I couldn't find any battery power banks that are 15 volts on Amazon. If you did have a 15v power bank then it should work without the AC power adapter :-) I tried it with a 5v power bank and it just charges without switching to 'docked' mode.
its been 1 and a half months since i got the N switch. the r joycon is already having problems with the joysticks. while you playing zelda. it always aims downwards. i tried calibrating didn't work
Also there is an Nintendo tracker specifically designed for the Nintendo switch 1 tracker attached on the switch and 1 with you, it will make a sound if they are separated from about 25 feet
I actually have a Tao Tronics Bluetooth Transeiver. Found it in the trash one day! Googled it, found out what it was, loved using it ever since! Got a BLuetooth reciver to go with it, works well making both ends wireless.
Hey Vince, I am just now buying a switch. And I am looking into buying some of the items in this video and the last one. Would you please add the links to these items and the last video too, if possible please??? love your Channel
i dont understand the individual joycon grips... the point of it is so that you can go lightweight, but still have two controllers, lugging around two hunks of plastic with your switch kinda defeats the purpose.... though i did see some nice slim "butterfly" grips that are easily portable, if i get grips, ill get those.
ill get the metal joycon stops in a little over a year when my warranty stops being valid. ill try and be careful when taking them off until then... one of them is already loose, but its not too loose... if it gets bad, i can always use my warranty.
There are tons of type C 15000 maH battery backs that support quick charge 3.0 one charge mode is like 18 watts on Amazon for about $27 those cheap type A ones are only 5v@2.4A just 12 watts
The Switch uses USB Power Delivery (USB PD) for charging, so a QuickCharge 3.0 battery bank is a waste if one is looking for a fast charge (it'll only charge the Switch as fast as a USB Type-A connection). QC 3.0 is great for charging the battery bank itself, however.

Just wondering how do you charge multiple joy cons if you only has one switch, I know theres a joy con charger grip but how do you charge the grip? Is the a charger that you put the grip into or do you use USB c?
Is their a sound apm jack for the 3ds? Cause I've loaded some songs onto a micro sd card and the default speakers/headphone jack's output sound is very low.
TBH I rather keep my joycon things plastic. because that way if I drop it that'll probably break instead of the rails or my switch! but mine are still perfectly fine anyways so no need to worry :P Plus I need an excuse to finally get the splatoon 2 joycons :P
Have anyone tried charing their switch with a huawei or samsung fast charger? (the one that you get with I think every modern phone that has USB-C port). I got huawei honor 8 and im wondering if i can charge my switch with it's charger without damaging the battery.

Ya, the Amazon echo works as a Bluetooth speaker. To pair, just say “alexa, pair Bluetooth“.
I think one day I will buy the projector. Mostly because I like the idea of big screen gameplay anywhere.
