You can also get another champions belt doing the pull ups challenge against Jules. If you beat the amateur pull ups challenge, you get the 2nd magic up materia as well. Also, another tip is if you’re in chapter select and you want to max out all your ap and xp, I would go to chapter 14 and just farm the battles between sector 5 and sector 6. There’s that long stretch of fights you get when running between the two sectors. Best place to farm IMO. After you’re done with a run just wait a minute or two for the enemies to reload, then do the run again. Use triple slash with first strike to make it go fasterYou get more ap and xp faster than doing the fights at the arena. Just a tip, I maxed all my materia out in one day, make sure to get the AP up materia and link it.
Wolfgang Nester good way to get through it is to say out loud what direction the pattern is going and just repeat it while the screen fades so you know what button to hit. Worked like a charm for me. I beat amateur and pro first try but doing that haha
U can do it in the arena, just use Arith with all+Firga und the 2 Player fight: Get u arround 2,1k Exp and 50 MT Points, and can be done in under 1 Minute realtime ( my best is 20 sec. ingame time ). I dident know the cap was 50, so i leveld up till 40 on my first visit and was max level bevor the climb.
If people are still confused as to what to do to get different sidequests and dresses do the following: Tifa dresses - Complete all sidequests in chapter 3, then do the discovery mission when you go to her room. Each of the 3 dress options are there; mature, sporty and exotic. Whatever you pick will be the corrsponding dress. A quick tip, if you dont do all sidequests in 3 it will default to the OG mature dress, so to save time in later playthroughs you can ignore the sidequests for the mature dress - I.E always pick either sporty or exotic. Aerith dresses- Much easier. In chapter 8 you will get different dresses based on how many sidequests you do. No sidequests gets you the poor dress, 3 sidequests gets you the medium dress, and all sidequests (and I think the discovery cutscene at her house) will get you the classic red dress. Cloud dresses - A bit trickier. The basic black dress is easy; do no sidequests at all. It doesnt matter if it is Madam m or Sams' quests, just dont complete any. For the black blue corset dress you have to complete all of sams sidequests. To get Sams quests you must do the following; Follow johnny when he runs to the honeybee inn and say 'Yeah' to his dialogue, when the coin toss happens pick heads or tails (doesnt matter which you always lose) - do NOT choose no deal, and finally go to madam M and ask for the poor mans massage. The white/violet dress you have to complete all Madam M sidequests. To get them follow these rules (I know this vid does explain it but it features a lot of unnecessary extra dialogue choices you do not need to do). First, and most crucial, DO NOT FOLLOW Johnny when you see him run to the inn; ignore him completely. Then at Sams coin toss always say NO DEAL. Then at Madam M's ask for the luxury 3k gil massage. Like I said previous, all the other extra dialogue choices you find like describing Tifa is irrelevant to this outcome. You will unlock all dresses and these extra chapter 9 side missions if you follow only these rules.

Enchanted ring is a 25% addition in duration, and magnify decreases the duration just so you know magnify drops barrier to 45 seconds at level 3 from 60 seconds and enchanted ring without magnify increases it to 75 seconds. Now both together actually isn't 60 seconds both together is actually on 56 seconds since it will calculate one bonus and then the other @JorRaptor
Easier to get the darts trophy by hitting bullseye 5 times and 1 triple 17. The center of the board makes a bigger target to hit. I got it using 6 darts.
In the Dart game, Just throw at the bull. even if you miss you have a high chance to hit the green. The green also counts as 50 points. If you only get one dart in the Triple 17 you can finish it in 6 darts.
I got this by by doing the following 1. Chose not to play heads or tails 2. Luxury hand massage 3. "it's alright" for Aerith's outfit 4. Talk to Johnny, do not take the medicine.
Be warned its nothing like the original game apart from the start its more of a reimaging then a remake. I personally prefer the original game for replay value and never come back to this remake.
I played gthe orginal, way back at the realese date and now if played this. Cryed a lot, tears of joy, tears of fear. Just play chapter 8, best hours of my life since years, its just so joyfull sad.
It is an amazing game. I did 3 fullplaythroughs in less than weeks of it's release. Although the chapter select is an option, I love the entire game so I haven't skipped around yet. Hope you have finished or are nearly finished by now, it is 1 of the best remakes I've played in quite awhile.
Nah you need to make the right choices for the questions. Itook the 3000 one aswell and still only got the normal missions. Had to go back and redo the chapter after finishing the game to get all the dresses and hidden mission's
you cant win against Sam, its rigged, I said Tifa was in shape, and said It didn't matter what I think about Aerith's clothes. But I did get the 3000gil massage. I don't think it's as secret as he says.
01:05 I keep seeing videos where they say you have to say “she’s great at handling books”, but my first play through I said “she’s good in a fight”, because it seemed like the thing that Cloud would respect, and I still got the Madame M missions. i got the thief side mission but had made different choices. describe tifa, she is a great fighter. Heads for the coin, luxury massage. Aeriths outfit - it matters what i think. and checked on johnny. a few differences but luxury massage for sure
So I was able to get that Champions Belt bandit to spawn Without doing that in Chap 13. I did Burning Thighs, The Party Never Stops and A Dynamite Body.
In about 15 minutes, you can also be awarded the champions belt from the chapter 9 side quest “burning thighs” by completing the 3rd and final squats challenge 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I pressed the buttons as cloud stopped his animations. Took 3 attempts on the pro challenge with no staggers. The challenge can be cancelled if you mess up early as well
you can actually finish with 6 dart throws which is what i did. Hit the bulls eye with each dart throw and then when prompted hit the highlighted area and it should add up to 6
there are many ways to finish with 6 darts, as long as you are able to hit triples every time. I did it with all triple 20s, then you only need to get a single 1 to finish
yeah i didn't realize they were secret. I did not make the decisions that he said you have to do either. I got the 2,000 gil massage and answered some of the questions differently and got the missions. Lady M even said the same dialog about giving clouds hands the special treatment even though i got the 2,000 gil massage.
Weren't secret missions, just clickbait really. It's just as likely to get the other side quest as it is this one if you go in without any information.

Can confirm, I did everything different than you and got the 2 bonus quests. Only thing you actually have to do the same, is pick heads or tails. Those bonus missions are tied to Sam, and picking no deal, blocks you from his quests.
I've done every possible combination and always get Sam's quests. Starting to think my copy is bugged. I'm gonna be pissed if I have to uninstall and lose my trophies & progress

Starting from the top; My choices : First Sam Convo: I said she was in great shape. Second Sam Convo: I said... head I think? The one where you can call him out on his cheating. Pretty sure it was heads. And for Madam M: Luxury. I got the 'price of thievery' with that method. To be fair, I literally stumbled into it on my first play through, so I don't know what the other missions would be at this point.
I did all of the steps in my second playthrough but i just wanted to get aeriths manuscript. Now i have to do all of it again on hard mode lol(i’m at that chapter again)
For the champions belt if you’re already at ch 14 you can find the grungy bandit in the bandit’s den between district 5&6. Stealing from him there works too

I definitely think there are only a few requirements for that set of quests because I did this accidentally. For sure the best massage but not sure what else because I feel like I answered tails and said the 1st answer for the dress
The squats were a piece of cake. Even the pull ups were easy... until you face the final challenge. Not only can you basically not make any mistakes, but you HAVE to be very quick ontop. I had 46 when i finally passed it after about 15mins of trying
Do you have to use chapter select and restart the chapter to do the other side missions? Can you not just save the game before the choosing the dialog options and then reload later ??
Aiming at 60 is more difficult than aiming at 50, and both will get a score of 6 throws (5⋅50 + 51 = 301; 5⋅60+1 = 301). Also ”great at handling the books” is the best line in the game, although when I played it in German, they change the line so that it completely lost its meaning, so I wonder what the original line in Japanese was.
I said "she's a great fighter", instead of books, but all the same other choices and I had these side quests, I got the staff. I didn't use steal but know I have this champion belt, I think I got it from the Grungy bandit when I killed him. I also matched wedge on 8 and didn't get the luck up.
You won’t get it if you get the same score as wedge. You have to beat his score. So 7 or less. The guides about the missions I’ll just say this. I believe the only true requirement (if you’re going for price of thievery and shaltears counterattack or whatever) is to just ignore Johnny’s discovery incident and don’t talk to him. Or for the other one you need to find Johnny. The rest of the dialogue affects who joins you in the final boss fight. If you want Aerith there, tell her she looks good, say no to the guy at the inn, she’s a great fighter, etc. oh and the others are pretty obvious.
dragnridr05 sorry friend but you need to elaborate. While I’ve beaten the game and triggered both quest lines. What do you mean? Until the arena? After hell house? Before hell house when you completed johnny’s discovery? Sams quest is the party one which triggers if you did johnny’s quest after you lose Aerith (she’s getting her new dress). So if that’s what you meant, then yeah that sounds about right, and you did johnny’s discovery quest at the very end and last possible moment before getting locked in to price of thievery. Sound about right?
@@KingArthur7777xbox I meant when you go to the arena before Aerith gets changed. As you and Aerith are waiting for your first round, in the second room is Johnny beaten. That was the only time I talked to him. Other than that, I ignored him until later in the game. Only thing I can think of that would trigger Madam M's quests would be to either not bet on the coin toss and/or picking the luxury hand massage. Those are the only two things I've found that would trigger her quests. As far as Johnny goes, I doubt it has any affect on which the side quests you get.

Lawrence Robinson I would imagine unlimited? But then again you probably wouldn’t be able to steal more than one staff from that flying horse ghoul boss (but that’s a weapon not an accessory). I have two belts now from doing both the squats/pull up side quests which has been good as I usually have the healing carcanet on whoever my healer is. The master pull up challenge took me a bit to nail down
I only got used the 3K Gil message, and checked on Johnny and got the the Price of Thievery mission, though I thing it's really only the message that matters due to the dialog Madam M gives.
Also I got the champion belt from the squat thing and the pull-up thing even though it is extremely hard it makes you fell like a champion to do the minigame also the pull-up one for the second champion belt is like if you fall once you’re gone since Jules will catch up to you even if you’re 10 pull-ups above from her So many fricking edits I can’t write at all

It has to do most likely with how many side quests you did in chapter 8 along with all those choices you make. On my first play through I did them all in chapter 8. I played on hard difficulty and skipped them all and Madam M was going on about Karma and how you didn’t help Sector 5. I know this because I skipped to chapter 9 after doing all the side quests in chapter 3 and picking a different dress for Tifa (sporty). I got the Red dress for Aerith, the game remembered that I did all the side quests on my first run. After doing no side quests in chapter 8 the game still remembered and had Tifa in the sporty dress again and Aerith in the plain one.
6:21 i got something like 58 to 62 on the last squats quest but there's just something about the layout of the pull ups that trips me up every time i try it, my brain is like ""ok ok where doing this, and now swap to the squats rotation and fail"" and ye i also had to turn off the music and the voices and the blond kid was killing me with his constant chatter, i did the first 3 rounds but the last round is maybe something i wont be able to get and its even worse when you fall behind as now you know you cant catch up so you make even more mistakes.
ya i beat the squat game np. but i cant beat the pull up mini game to save my life.. he rocks out 44 pull ups every time. I only ever seem to manage like 38 at best. i always mess up somewhere.
BigK0003 try to get a 4-5 point lead in the first round and not mess up once. Also you can press the buttons faster than you might think you can most of the time.

None of the choices you mentioned to unlock the madam M quests matter. I made completely different choices for every one of them and still got them unlocked. I think it has more to do with what side quests you complete first and in what order.
i got that battle vs bandits and the big bandit with Cloud Tifa and Barrett while running through the area not as a side quest and i stole the champion belt 4th try...did i mess something up?
As others have said, the only variable that seems necessary is the massage. The two options for commenting on Tifa and Aerith I didn’t do but still unlocked these.

It's not the only flag but there seems to be some sort of combined score or chance. I did the best comment for tifa, the most expensive massage, and the best comment for aerith and still got Sam's missions. Maybe if I had done the middle or the worst comments for the girls I would have gotten Madam M's. Did you do the middle one for either of the girls or did you do the top?

Otherwise, I picked tails, said Tifa was good at fighting, and told Aerith her dress was "alright". I did talk to Johnny both times, though. Maybe that's it?
I got the Madam M quests by ignoring Johnny, not picking heads or tails, describing Tifa as good with the books, and getting the 3,000 massage. Those quests got me the "All quests" trophy.
About stealing champion belt, I went back to chapter 14 's bandit tunnel from park, but not seeing Grungy Bandit spawning, do I need any quest or progress in the chapter in order to farm it? Thanks.
I think to unlock the quest does not have anything to do with sams choice. Nor anything with Johnny. I did not ignore Johnny and I choose tails with sam. And I still unlocked the quest. But before madam M gave me the quest she mentions about how I have helped people in sector 5. I believe that it depends on how many quest you did in sector 5 and choosing luxuary massage that triggers the mission
I did ALL the side quests up to that point and didn't choose the luxury massage and still got Sam's quests. I think it has to do with the luxury massage ONLY.
Everyone goes for the triple 20 when you can just go for the bullseye and still get 1st. Bullseye is very easy to hit compared to triple 20 so if you are not going for the trophy then just stick to Bullseye.
For Madam M's missions you have to; Say no to johhny Not accept Sam's coin toss And buy the luxury massage For Sam's you have to; Say yes to johhny Pick a side of sam's coin And but the poor mans massage. And whichever you pick the most of will be the person who gives you your quests.
I didn’t get the trophy. This is my 2nd playthrough and did all of Madam M.’s side quests. My first playthrough, I did all the side quests as well. I think it’s because I went from ch. 8 to ch. 9, but I only did 3 side quests in ch. 8 to get Aerith’s 2nd dress. So I think doing chapter 8 again reset the side quest and didn’t count my original playthrough. Which is bullsh*t. So I think I have to do all of the ch. 8 side quests again.
your infomation is wrong, describing Tifa to Sam has nothing to do with which side quest you get only 3 things contribute to the side quest and picking No to Johnny and getting the Luxury Massage is enough to get the Theiving side quest.
Sam’s missions: 1. Play his coin game 2. Say yes to Johnny 3. Pay for poor massage Madame’s missions: 1. Say no deal to Sam’s coin 2. Say no to Johnny 3. Pay for luxury massage You need to do 2 of the 3 to get their missions, meaning you can only do one set per playthrough

It would have to be. Doesn't matter how you describe Tifa, or choosing heads, tails, or not playing. As far as Johnny, I've always ignored him since he was annoying anyway. Now for the massage, I think the luxury massage has the affect since I always went with the middle or cheap massage. And I've always gotten Sam's quests. Now as for the items, they are not unique to the quests, so that doesn't really matter.
@@killingtime4444 Everytime I chose the mid level massage or cheapest, I got Sam's quests. That's with 4 playthroughs. I'm going to try some different combinations with the same mid and cheap massages to find out for sure. BTW, I never just play through one chapter. I always start the game over and finish the whole thing to see the full results. There could also be other factors behind the scenes that cause the change too. Until it can be narrowed down, It's all guesswork, trial and error.

I had these missions via differently means. Said no deal on the coin toss and got the 3000 gil massage and got the Price of Thievery. Now I am trying to figure out how to get the Party quest instead
In Corneos mansion downstairs in the basement there's a door that you can hear someone's voice on the other side but you can't interact with the door. What's the deal, I found the secret staircase to the loot chest but there's no way to get into that room with the voice.
i was let down too not being allowed into the secret base in seventh heaven, i was kinda loooking forward to it, oh and i picked all those options cept the first one and did not get the secret mission unlock so it seems you need all of those choices picked to unlock it

It is an amazing game. I did 3 fullplaythroughs in less than weeks of it's release. Although the chapter select is an option, I love the entire game so I haven't skipped around yet. Hope you have finished or are nearly finished by now, it is 1 of the best remakes I've played in quite awhile.
You can also get another champions belt when you win in the push up challenge with tifa. Now I have two for cloud and tifa. Really nice accessory 👌

Nah you need to make the right choices for the questions. Itook the 3000 one aswell and still only got the normal missions. Had to go back and redo the chapter after finishing the game to get all the dresses and hidden mission's
I picked “No Deal” at the coin toss and did the other two the way suggested. So, seems that the choice with Sam doesn’t matter.

01:05 I keep seeing videos where they say you have to say “she’s great at handling books”, but my first play through I said “she’s good in a fight”, because it seemed like the thing that Cloud would respect, and I still got the Madame M missions. I did say “heads”, “it looks comfortable”, and get the 3000 Gil massage, though.

On darts: I found it's actually easier going for 50 (bullseye) for the first 4 throws rather than going for triple 20...
yeha because the bullseye they count both rings for 50 and its a bigger target then the triple.
i dont know it was pretty easy to get triple 20 as well for me atleast

i got the thief side mission but had made different choices. describe tifa, she is a great fighter. Heads for the coin, luxury massage. Aeriths outfit - it matters what i think. and checked on johnny. a few differences but luxury massage for sure

So I was able to get that Champions Belt bandit to spawn Without doing that in Chap 13. I did Burning Thighs, The Party Never Stops and A Dynamite Body.

In about 15 minutes, you can also be awarded the champions belt from the chapter 9 side quest “burning thighs” by completing the 3rd and final squats challenge 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I pressed the buttons as cloud stopped his animations. Took 3 attempts on the pro challenge with no staggers. The challenge can be cancelled if you mess up early as well

you can actually finish with 6 dart throws which is what i did. Hit the bulls eye with each dart throw and then when prompted hit the highlighted area and it should add up to 6
Took me a few goes to get it in 7. The pull up challege was a bit of a pain. I was doing that for over an hour.haha
there are many ways to finish with 6 darts, as long as you are able to hit triples every time. I did it with all triple 20s, then you only need to get a single 1 to finish

yeah i didn't realize they were secret. I did not make the decisions that he said you have to do either. I got the 2,000 gil massage and answered some of the questions differently and got the missions. Lady M even said the same dialog about giving clouds hands the special treatment even though i got the 2,000 gil massage.

The choices matter! I did all the same answers except for the handling the books, and still got the sam sidequests
Can confirm, I did everything different than you and got the 2 bonus quests. Only thing you actually have to do the same, is pick heads or tails. Those bonus missions are tied to Sam, and picking no deal, blocks you from his quests.

Starting from the top; My choices : First Sam Convo: I said she was in great shape. Second Sam Convo: I said... head I think? The one where you can call him out on his cheating. Pretty sure it was heads. And for Madam M: Luxury.
I got the 'price of thievery' with that method. To be fair, I literally stumbled into it on my first play through, so I don't know what the other missions would be at this point.
Woah I got the secret missions first playthrough on accident. Now I have to go back to do the normal missions.
On the darts I found it easy to hit triple 17 then all bullseyes. Way easier.
It's actually easier to hit the bulleye 6 times and then just hit 1. The inner and out circle both give you 50 so its not too hard
I did all of the steps in my second playthrough but i just wanted to get aeriths manuscript. Now i have to do all of it again on hard mode lol(i’m at that chapter again)
For the champions belt if you’re already at ch 14 you can find the grungy bandit in the bandit’s den between district 5&6. Stealing from him there works too

Wayne C sorry He popped up for me a couple times and now he doesn’t anymore. Not too sure why he stopped spawning but I was able to get a few before he stopped spawning there. Guess we’ll have to go with the method in the video
I definitely think there are only a few requirements for that set of quests because I did this accidentally. For sure the best massage but not sure what else because I feel like I answered tails and said the 1st answer for the dress

The squats were a piece of cake. Even the pull ups were easy... until you face the final challenge. Not only can you basically not make any mistakes, but you HAVE to be very quick ontop. I had 46 when i finally passed it after about 15mins of trying
Do you have to use chapter select and restart the chapter to do the other side missions? Can you not just save the game before the choosing the dialog options and then reload later ??
FYI I chose “in good shape, no deal and a luxury massage” also checked on Johnny and still got the quests
Aiming at 60 is more difficult than aiming at 50, and both will get a score of 6 throws (5⋅50 + 51 = 301; 5⋅60+1 = 301). Also ”great at handling the books” is the best line in the game, although when I played it in German, they change the line so that it completely lost its meaning, so I wonder what the original line in Japanese was.

I said "she's a great fighter", instead of books, but all the same other choices and I had these side quests, I got the staff. I didn't use steal but know I have this champion belt, I think I got it from the Grungy bandit when I killed him. I also matched wedge on 8 and didn't get the luck up.

You won’t get it if you get the same score as wedge. You have to beat his score. So 7 or less. The guides about the missions I’ll just say this. I believe the only true requirement (if you’re going for price of thievery and shaltears counterattack or whatever) is to just ignore Johnny’s discovery incident and don’t talk to him. Or for the other one you need to find Johnny. The rest of the dialogue affects who joins you in the final boss fight. If you want Aerith there, tell her she looks good, say no to the guy at the inn, she’s a great fighter, etc. oh and the others are pretty obvious.

dragnridr05 sorry friend but you need to elaborate. While I’ve beaten the game and triggered both quest lines. What do you mean? Until the arena? After hell house? Before hell house when you completed johnny’s discovery? Sams quest is the party one which triggers if you did johnny’s quest after you lose Aerith (she’s getting her new dress). So if that’s what you meant, then yeah that sounds about right, and you did johnny’s discovery quest at the very end and last possible moment before getting locked in to price of thievery. Sound about right?
@@KingArthur7777xbox I meant when you go to the arena before Aerith gets changed. As you and Aerith are waiting for your first round, in the second room is Johnny beaten. That was the only time I talked to him. Other than that, I ignored him until later in the game.
Only thing I can think of that would trigger Madam M's quests would be to either not bet on the coin toss and/or picking the luxury hand massage. Those are the only two things I've found that would trigger her quests. As far as Johnny goes, I doubt it has any affect on which the side quests you get.

Lawrence Robinson I would imagine unlimited? But then again you probably wouldn’t be able to steal more than one staff from that flying horse ghoul boss (but that’s a weapon not an accessory). I have two belts now from doing both the squats/pull up side quests which has been good as I usually have the healing carcanet on whoever my healer is. The master pull up challenge took me a bit to nail down

Wasn't too bad at all. Took me just a couple of tries and got it on the third with 6 darts. 5 in the triple 20's and a single 1.
I only got used the 3K Gil message, and checked on Johnny and got the the Price of Thievery mission, though I thing it's really only the message that matters due to the dialog Madam M gives.
that gym part was easy as well other mini games but probably hardest mini games in game
Also I got the champion belt from the squat thing and the pull-up thing even though it is extremely hard it makes you fell like a champion to do the minigame also the pull-up one for the second champion belt is like if you fall once you’re gone since Jules will catch up to you even if you’re 10 pull-ups above from her

It has to do most likely with how many side quests you did in chapter 8 along with all those choices you make. On my first play through I did them all in chapter 8. I played on hard difficulty and skipped them all and Madam M was going on about Karma and how you didn’t help Sector 5.
I know this because I skipped to chapter 9 after doing all the side quests in chapter 3 and picking a different dress for Tifa (sporty). I got the Red dress for Aerith, the game remembered that I did all the side quests on my first run. After doing no side quests in chapter 8 the game still remembered and had Tifa in the sporty dress again and Aerith in the plain one.
To have the affect of not doing any sidequests in a given chapter, you have to play that chapter over to completion before it gets saved.
6:21 i got something like 58 to 62 on the last squats quest but there's just something about the layout of the pull ups that trips me up every time i try it, my brain is like ""ok ok where doing this, and now swap to the squats rotation and fail"" and ye i also had to turn off the music and the voices and the blond kid was killing me with his constant chatter, i did the first 3 rounds but the last round is maybe something i wont be able to get and its even worse when you fall behind as now you know you cant catch up so you make even more mistakes.
The Squat mini game trophy isn't too hard. Just wait for the animation to hit a certain point before you press it again.
ya i beat the squat game np. but i cant beat the pull up mini game to save my life.. he rocks out 44 pull ups every time. I only ever seem to manage like 38 at best. i always mess up somewhere.
BigK0003 try to get a 4-5 point lead in the first round and not mess up once. Also you can press the buttons faster than you might think you can most of the time.

None of the choices you mentioned to unlock the madam M quests matter. I made completely different choices for every one of them and still got them unlocked. I think it has more to do with what side quests you complete first and in what order.
i got that battle vs bandits and the big bandit with Cloud Tifa and Barrett while running through the area not as a side quest and i stole the champion belt 4th try...did i mess something up?
As others have said, the only variable that seems necessary is the massage. The two options for commenting on Tifa and Aerith I didn’t do but still unlocked these.
Tails, yes, mid lvl massage. Still got her missions.

It's not the only flag but there seems to be some sort of combined score or chance. I did the best comment for tifa, the most expensive massage, and the best comment for aerith and still got Sam's missions. Maybe if I had done the middle or the worst comments for the girls I would have gotten Madam M's. Did you do the middle one for either of the girls or did you do the top?
@@caseycoker1051 I've done this twice and got Madam M's the 2nd time (wasn't trying the first time) but the only thing I did the same as the video was the massage. Otherwise, I picked tails, said Tifa was good at fighting, and told Aerith her dress was "alright". I did talk to Johnny both times, though. Maybe that's it?

I got the Madam M quests by ignoring Johnny, not picking heads or tails, describing Tifa as good with the books, and getting the 3,000 massage. Those quests got me the "All quests" trophy.

About stealing champion belt, I went back to chapter 14 's bandit tunnel from park, but not seeing Grungy Bandit spawning, do I need any quest or progress in the chapter in order to farm it? Thanks.

I think to unlock the quest does not have anything to do with sams choice. Nor anything with Johnny. I did not ignore Johnny and I choose tails with sam. And I still unlocked the quest. But before madam M gave me the quest she mentions about how I have helped people in sector 5. I believe that it depends on how many quest you did in sector 5 and choosing luxuary massage that triggers the mission
I did ALL the side quests up to that point and didn't choose the luxury massage and still got Sam's quests. I think it has to do with the luxury massage ONLY.
Seven throws I was able to do it with six you just have to get five bullseyes and then one triple 7
Everyone goes for the triple 20 when you can just go for the bullseye and still get 1st. Bullseye is very easy to hit compared to triple 20 so if you are not going for the trophy then just stick to Bullseye.
You forgot the windswept cloak it increases ap at start of battle and speeds ap gain

I didn’t get the trophy. This is my 2nd playthrough and did all of Madam M.’s side quests. My first playthrough, I did all the side quests as well. I think it’s because I went from ch. 8 to ch. 9, but I only did 3 side quests in ch. 8 to get Aerith’s 2nd dress. So I think doing chapter 8 again reset the side quest and didn’t count my original playthrough. Which is bullsh*t. So I think I have to do all of the ch. 8 side quests again.

your infomation is wrong, describing Tifa to Sam has nothing to do with which side quest you get only 3 things contribute to the side quest and picking No to Johnny and getting the Luxury Massage is enough to get the Theiving side quest.
Sam’s missions:
1. Play his coin game
2. Say yes to Johnny
3. Pay for poor massage
Madame’s missions:
1. Say no deal to Sam’s coin
2. Say no to Johnny
3. Pay for luxury massage
You need to do 2 of the 3 to get their missions, meaning you can only do one set per playthrough

It would have to be. Doesn't matter how you describe Tifa, or choosing heads, tails, or not playing. As far as Johnny, I've always ignored him since he was annoying anyway. Now for the massage, I think the luxury massage has the affect since I always went with the middle or cheap massage. And I've always gotten Sam's quests.
Now as for the items, they are not unique to the quests, so that doesn't really matter.

@@killingtime4444 Everytime I chose the mid level massage or cheapest, I got Sam's quests. That's with 4 playthroughs. I'm going to try some different combinations with the same mid and cheap massages to find out for sure.
BTW, I never just play through one chapter. I always start the game over and finish the whole thing to see the full results.
There could also be other factors behind the scenes that cause the change too. Until it can be narrowed down, It's all guesswork, trial and error.

Not betting on the coin toss opens the chance for Madam M's quests. Then choosing luxury massage finalizes it. I think Johnny's discovery quest was just a red herring.
I had these missions via differently means. Said no deal on the coin toss and got the 3000 gil massage and got the Price of Thievery. Now I am trying to figure out how to get the Party quest instead
In Corneos mansion downstairs in the basement there's a door that you can hear someone's voice on the other side but you can't interact with the door. What's the deal, I found the secret staircase to the loot chest but there's no way to get into that room with the voice.
i was let down too not being allowed into the secret base in seventh heaven, i was kinda loooking forward to it, oh and i picked all those options cept the first one and did not get the secret mission unlock so it seems you need all of those choices picked to unlock it
But you didn't mention the one item you can only get in one place and miss if you pass it, stealing a staff for aerith from the second ghost boss in the train yard. well, I hope people read the comments...
Equiping steal and luck materia will increase steal chance
Easiest way to do dartboard is hit five bullseyes and then one triple twenty, and there you just did it in six
