Let me get this straight. We have a slasher torture "horror" film that gives us 8 characters plus 1 for plenty of opportunities for gross murders and deaths...and it only kills 2 characters on screen(only one of which was the kind of Saw material that was promised in most of the promotional material), only implies 2 more and leaves a whopping 5-6 characters at the end alive? I have questions about their ideas of what's "scary."
Pretty sure they wanted theaters to actually show the movie so they probably had to cut a lot of the "good stuff" because the MPAA is a bunch of infants.
The gore, kind of Saw material is nothing scary. There's a strong misconception that a movie needs gallons of blood to be scary, but you can have scary movies that barely have any gore (a Mario Bava movie like Lisa and the Devil) and gore movies that are nothing scary (Cannibal Holocaust, The NY Ripper).

Nah, this dumb ass movie got that right (not by intent I suppose), but aS a bRaziliAn, I know Americans have a justified hate boner for corporate private healthcare and tend to glorify any form of "universal healthcare", but here in Brazil SUS ("Sistema Universal de Saúde", literally "Universal Healthcare System") is a well known joke, anyone that needs it to ANY major procedure will have to get into a Kafkaesque process of queuing to get anywhere, there's multiple cases of old ppl that just die and years later they notify the family that they can "proceed", "mofar na fila do SUS" ("get mold waiting on the SUS line") sadly is a well known expression. Organ transplants is another whole can of worms bc of the high level of corruption in all levels, multiple cases of ppl with scheduled surgeries and the organs just go "poof!" like they never existed, most ppl have to sue the state or appeal to the media to get their issues addressed. So it isn't unheard the cases of scumbags with ties with organized crime that deal in black market clandestine operations with organs that only god knows the precedence that prey on overly desperate ppl. But the movie is still stupid, targeting only foreigners would be stupid af, it would quickly be in the news and our government would quickly scramble to save face internationally and use "Mr. Boss criminal" as a scapegoat to all the corruption that allowed him to thrive in fist place.

I'm brazilian and i can say, oh boy, the acting is preety lame. It looks like foreigner actors with poorly dubbed voices (talking about the brazilian characters)
So, let me see if I got it: The villain of this movie was kind of like the surgeons from "Monty Python: Meaning of life", except that played entirely seriously.
... Well, to be honest, I actually dont even like Monty Python all that much and thought the surgeons theirselves were too disturbing to be funny, but still...
it is cool
