You should get a lamp off of Amazon that has a charger plug attached to it so u won’t have to keep unplugging ur lamp like the ones from hotels

Kes, get a power strip or two.
I did that in college
The long duvet hanging over could be good. It'll cover what's under the bed.
Get a tiny plastic bin for the candy. If you leave it in your room, it'll smell and invite bugs, etc.
Buy paper towels, wipes, hand sanitizer etc. Have basic meds, bandaid, period supplies. I suggest a pain reliever and Pepto.
I think the bin your hair stuff is in is nice. Up to you.

This is so exciting for you! I still remember my 1st college apartment & I’m gonna be a senior now 😭 my number one tip is plan out most of your meals & meal prep during the weekend!! Trust me, it’s so easy to resort to take out all the time bc you don’t have time to cook everyday. Not only will that quickly make you feel like crap, it’s also so much more expensive than cooking at home
get the power strips for your bedside table so you can plug in as many outlets as you want
i’m actually very nervous to go to college because i get so home sick literally spending the night at my friends house. i love that your happy with your room but i just can’t imagine myself in there. im getting rly anxious thinking abt it but i’m very very glad for you kesley! ❤️ wish my luck pls ❤️❤️❤️
You can get a power cord box that plugs into to the outlets! I have one and it’s not bulky like an extension cord and will stay hidden which is nice! Also you guys should get a curtain to put over your closet that would be so cute!
I think you should put the stuff in the bottom drawer in the bin under your bed so that you have more space in the drawer for clothes!

Hey kes you can use a surge which is basically a plug where you plug it on the wall and it comes with more plugs(i dont really know how to explain it but you can search it up and you’ll see what its like)

Your room looks great Kesley...You should get multi plug outlet and some of them have USB adapters on them so you can charge your phone and have a couple extra outlets.
Love your videos!!! Can’t believe you in college!!!!! Your room is amazing!!! The wall looks amazing! Yes can you do a Grocery haul!! make sure you label your food if you have roommates. Especially if guys are over the will eat the food in the fridge. There is a plastic drawer set a target its three drawers and you can put it the where your hair stuff is. You can also get a power strip and leave it behind the night stand.

I would recommend putting the stuff that you have in that bottom drawer of the dresser in the bins under your bed and move things you’ll use more often into that bottom drawer!

A power strip is going to be your best friend! Also command hooks were a must for me! They make ones for posters too that you could use for your pictures.
You could put your bed on risers, then you would have more room for storage underneath.

You could get a bed skirt! If you find one king enough it’ll cover the bins under the bed

You could get these bed risers to put underneath your bed so it makes it so you have more room!! Trust me my sister used them all the time in college.
in the Netherlands we have this thing called a 'verdeeldoos', which is basically a splitter for you outlet (a power strip in English). I would really recommend getting one, so you can recharge your phone, camera, laptop, put in your alarm clock etc. all at once, without having to take out the lamp

Not quite sure what it is called, but you could use an extension cord or sth to plug in your lamp, charger and alarm at the same time… I assume you’ll be able to buy that online for US if you can’t find it in stores/supermarkets
You should get that ikea trolly to store your hair stuff, it would fit perfectly there.
If you wanted you could return the lamp and and get a new one that’s looks the exact same but with mini outlets in them
Get a surge protector to put in the outlet by your bed, it will protect everything from a power surge and give you more spots to plug stuff in

Best suggestion to hang things…green painters tape (the frog one) and it seriously is super strong and everything! Easy removal. I didn’t like putty because you need to remove it right or it will peel off paint.
Since u don’t have a desk get a lap desk! They have really cute ones at target in the college section!! I used mine all the time in college!
Yes, and one of those big chair pillows to leave on your bed. Gives you a place to relax.
there is REALLY preppy/aesthetic like things you plug into your outlets and you can change up to like 5 or 6 spaces to charge your stuff -amazon- 14:40
You should buy on on the walls plug in the has multiple so you can put your charger, clock, and lamp at the same time
For your hair stuff you could always take a cute ribbon and hang it in the closet or the space between the dresser and the closet with a command hook and clip your bows and hair clips on them

You’re gonna want a hamper and a laundry basket! Just get the small laundry basket because it’s easier to store

Make sure you can actually buy replacement light bulbs, my stepmom bought me a cute lamp and when the bulb burned out I couldn't buy replacement bulbs.
