I won at a raffle at a comic book signing over 20 years ago and was awarded a large box containing a bunch of "Death's Head" comic books...or it may have been "Death's Head 2". I still have these comic books and may read them again. :) I do not remember anything about these comics but I do remember the quality of art was done very well for the time in the mid 90's not long after Image hit the scene.
Well Pixar definitely got inspiration from Death's Head to model Zurg after. Also I hate to say it but for all the Whovians out there, he's just the Doctor. Allons-y
You have a thumbnail of Deaths Head 2, but your review is about the original DH. DH's 2 storyarch doesn't have much to do the original titular character
Furman had it in mind to to have Death's Head 3.0's Amazing Fantasy story become a sort of retelling of the origin for DH. I think it works well as a retcon and it leaves us to only imagine how he became 30' tall by the time we next see him in S.W.O.R.D. I've loved him since 1987 but given his Lupex origin required two titles that Marvel don't own (Transformers and Dr Who) a retelling was necessary.
Marvel has backed themselves into a corner a few times by expecting that their license was going to last forever. Conan, Transformers (U.S. & U.K.), ROM, and others if we really think about it. It explains why they don't do so many crossovers anymore.
I had a few Deaths Head comics, I know I only picked them up because I loved the art style and look of the character. Shame I didn’t save those comics 😑

I just love that The Doctor had something to do with his creation.
I forgot that Death's Head was a Marvel character. I thought I remembered him being an Image Comics character.
How powerful is he? Is he evil? Who has he defeated?
Marvel releasing a new Death's Head mini series in July :D
Death's Head has a new comic out!
deathheadII took heavy visual cues from the Predator, a very 90's thing to do, deathshead1 took his inspiration from lobo
I found and bought a vintage Death's Head II pin on eBay.
I bought some paint markers and am going to restore it.
one character I never heard of before until earlier this year. The joys of attending CBU. 😎
Thanks, +Temo Harri. Literally the best thing I can hear from someone is, "I never knew that until CBU".
I still have some Death's Head 2 comics.
DH is like a good secret you just have to tell someone about.
Exactly, you typed the words right out of my mouth.
What if....
I cosplayed as Deaths Head 1 in 2017 NYC
How would you categorize this character? Hero or supervillain? Or sort of in the middle since he only works for money deceiving who ever he wants?

GEORGE Senior???? Who's that?

Agreed. Also explains why Furman wanted to break Death's Head out of it.
