Takes me back to the days of sitting in the lobbies of custom games on Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. Completely sums up the summer of 2004 for me, and the friendships that were made.
This music, all the way back to Warcraft 2 soundtrack. Tied to so many memories from somewhere we can never go back to. Damn, even the comments are from 10+ years ago. We really lost something along the way, didn’t we?
+JJtoutcourt ye, I really miss those good old days...Warcraft III was such epic experience both on and offline, such sad thing that nowdays the multiplayer is all but dead.....exactly why we need Warcraft IV, hopefully Blizzard goes for it now that Starcraft II is finished.
JJtoutcourt well ye mainly in regular games...the custom games side is pretty much dead though...I miss playing my old favorites like Darwin's Island and Uther's Party...I never liked DOTA that much :D
This soundtrack is from "The Founding of Durotar" in Warcraft 3: the Frozen Throne. But i still imagine this being played in a warcraft movie, while the Horde, Alliance and Night Elves prepare for the Battle of Mount Hyjal. Just epic. i sometimes go to Old Hillsbrad just to hear this music XD
What I really love about this piece is that it tells a tale, one of adventure, of adversaries, of hard times and good times and, of course, a lot of booze! If this doesn't get you in the mood, I don't know what will.
0:23 Thrall: Ok.. Rexar.. My champion you will have to give this message to Jaina Proudmoore! I trust you my warrior! Rexar: Come on Misha! We have some work to do!
This gives me hard nostalgia even though i played this when i was seven for a few years and now that im 17 im glad i got to play this game and feel bad for those who havnt
***** Chris Metzen and Blizzard are heavily involved, and the filmmakers are all fans of the game themselves. I think we'll get an OST that has it's own thing going on, but with familiar cues that will still make it feel like a legit soundtrack.
This song symbolizes the REAL wow not the one now... It has the real world of warcraft spirit which is now almost lost unfortunately... And its not just about WoW... The things i imagine and come to my fantasy once i listen to this are just...incredible...adventure, fantasy, dragons, celebrating with your brothers in arms in the warm tavern, safe from the raw weather and dangers which we fight and andventure trough! Every second of this song is pure awesomeness!!
+Josiah Wards Totally agreed! Warcraft 3 lore and build up for the final campaign is pure beauty and a symphony of war, love, betrayal and unexpected alliances! Wc3 2o4me
If I recall correctly, this is a remake of at least two pieces of music from Warcraft 2. The first 24 seconds or so (the part with the flutes and such) comes from a mid-campaign cinematic sequence in the Human campaign, and right after that it launches into a part that comes from Orc Track 2 (in-game music). The third part after that (starting at 1:07-ish) sounds like it might be original rather than a remake, but maybe I just don't remember what the original music is.
If there ever was going to be a movie or anything like that regarding Warcraft, AT ALL, I hope it is an series using top-notch regular animation, which has NO LIMITS!
@Netherw1nd They brought it back for WoW, it plays in Caverns of Time: Durnholde. (Which takes place just before the begining of the Orc campaign in WC3.)
i recall this track very fondly from Warcraft 2, and also during the Warcraft 3 expac. Some people were wondering where in the "World of Warcraft" it appears. It's part of Thrall's theme in Caverns of Time: Escape From Durnholde (Old Hillsbrad)
on top of what he said this music acually appears in the cavern of time were u acually go back in time to do various famous missions from warcraft 3 so it is acually very fitting
As a owner of all the warcraft games i can confirm that this is used in warcraft 2, like Ukulelesean said, "It's a remastered version of the track from Warcraft 2"
For anyone who needs further convincing that this is not just a "Horde" piece but an ORCISH piece... this song was explicitly called "The Orcish Horde" on the Frozen Throne soundtrack, when it first was reworked from "Orc Battle 2" from the Tides of Darkness Soundtrack. Now... I hope they get around to reworking Human 2 into a song as awesome as this...
It's called "Orc 2" because it was played during an orcish mission, but considering both times its appeard in games have been in Hillsbrad, it can be considered more a Hillsbrad song than belonging to either side.
This piece was actually created for the movie "Four days and three nights", but the composer Josef Eriksson sold the song to Blizzard right before the release of wc2.
Even though you don't play wow, the music itself is stunning! I liked the music even before i started playing, but the best is to fly above the landscapes and listening to the music - Wow is so beautiful!
quality of blizzard soundtrack is just awesome. in diablo, warcraft, starcraft, WoW in all of this games is soooo great and awesome soundtracks. i love it
Ahh, these good old days of sitting in WC3 lobby and "SOMEHOW" geting tired of this! I miss those days...I MISS BEING A NOOB, I MISS CLASSIC RP, I MISS SOTDRP, I MISS ALL MY CLANIES!
This song was in Warcraft 2.This was the 2nd orc theme. Starting at about 0:24 it's instantly recognizable. I don't recognize it from Warcraft 3 though. Where was it played in WC3?
I never got the chance to play Warcraft 1, but own Warcraft ll and lll. While I have never finished them (I am terribad at RTS games), I know the entire story from both games, and more. Don't get me wrong, I still recognize this song from WCll. Epic.
In WC2, the orc campaign, during the 1st or 2nd cinematic, the orc is burning 3 impaled human bodies - the initial tune from here is playing. Most of the orc 3 theme from WC2 serves as the base for the beginning of this song. So many WoW players never played WC1 or 2, it's annoying sometimes.
actually if you ask me what killed the lore was the introducing of the 'draenei'. those aren't draenei. those are blue russian spacegoat squid monsters
Thrall: Rexxar! are you prepared to aid the horde once again?
Rexxar: Always.
Ah! The Rexxar missions in wc3... now those were a good way to pass the time while having no internet
On the prowl
You could say, they are echoes of the past.
Takes me back to the days of sitting in the lobbies of custom games on Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. Completely sums up the summer of 2004 for me, and the friendships that were made.
Totally 😮.
exactly the same, was playing Ele TD, Laser & Rocket TD, before dota becomes a thing
The war drums are amazing...
+Patty Lumpkins Easily the best part!
This music, all the way back to Warcraft 2 soundtrack. Tied to so many memories from somewhere we can never go back to. Damn, even the comments are from 10+ years ago. We really lost something along the way, didn’t we?
We need Classic+ to alter the course of history that WoW took after patch 1.12.1.
We also need very special individuals to pull it off...
"What do you mean 'what accent is this'? It's a TROLL accent! Jamaican me crazy..."
This plays in WoW BC's Caverns of Time instance: Escape from Durnholde.
If you guys play warcraft 2, you will remember this melody :D, they used it in warcraft 2 too
Exactly :') I love how the way Blizz remakes their old beautiful musics
Kosinoyoh And warcraft 3
Glenn Stafford - Warcraft II - Orc Theme 2 - Dance of the Ogre
dude this is fucking priceless orc soundtrack
True, and although this version is great, it's impressive how the MIDI original is still better.
omg, that music after connecting for the first time on warcraft3 servers...
Balnazzardi Well, I re tried to play online few days ago, and there were people.
JJtoutcourt well ye mainly in regular games...the custom games side is pretty much dead though...I miss playing my old favorites like Darwin's Island and Uther's Party...I never liked DOTA that much :D
there are custom gmaes, from time to time I see uther party
Damn... I loved Footman frenzy. 4.54 -AR :D
What a phenomenal childhood I had 😊. Warcraft 3 ❤.
all cmt are 10 years ago, just u is 6 months ago
Memories of when I was literally 5 years old
Everytime I hear this song in Old Hillsbrad, it always gives me goosebumps.

Thrall: Ok.. Rexar.. My champion you will have to give this message to Jaina Proudmoore! I trust you my warrior!
Rexar: Come on Misha! We have some work to do!
Sad that the modern kids will never get this unbelievable experience of rts games.
Warcraft 3 ist nostalgic as fuck🔥
Send shivers down my spine... that beginning... Thanks so much for uploading, dude. :D What memories.
Thumbs up if you want this soundtrack in the Warcraft Movie!
wow. as the song started it actually sent a shiver down my spine. this theme brings back very very old memories
WARCRAFT 3 OMFG I MISS U
Is for warcraft 2 idiot
+society Mc Gagen originally yes, but this version is almost exactly the same that plays in Warcraft III.
@@Balnazzardi This IS the version from Warcraft III. But yes, it was originally known as "Orc 2" on the Warcaft II soundtrack.
OMG! This song brings back a lot of wc3 memories, before mmorgp cough*wow*cough ruined the glory of RTS. damn good old days...
This gives me hard nostalgia even though i played this when i was seven for a few years and now that im 17 im glad i got to play this game and feel bad for those who havnt
I have wondered alone little Misha, yet sometimes even i grow weary of this endless solitude
Uploaded 11 years ago, what an absolute trooper.
Ok this needs to be second track (with Legends of Azeroth) that needs to be in Warcraft ost. I believe you Ramin ;)
*****
Chris Metzen and Blizzard are heavily involved, and the filmmakers are all fans of the game themselves. I think we'll get an OST that has it's own thing going on, but with familiar cues that will still make it feel like a legit soundtrack.
+TheVaelon I really hope so, because those old soundtracks were legit as fuck.
I have wandered alone for many years, little Misha. Yet sometimes, even I grow weary of this endless solitude.
I have watched the other races... I have seen their squabbling, their ruthlessness.
Beautiful music
This song symbolizes the REAL wow not the one now... It has the real world of warcraft spirit which is now almost lost unfortunately... And its not just about WoW... What lies before me !
For guys who played dota and listened this music all days on the menu.. So many nostalgia !
Ever wondered how the actual game looked like? you should play the campaign
leluminent are you kidding me? you played warcraft 3 only for dota? thats sad, you missed out on one of the greatest video games of all time
+Josiah Wards Totally agreed! Warcraft 3 lore and build up for the final campaign is pure beauty and a symphony of war, love, betrayal and unexpected alliances! Wc3 2o4me
@DerEchteSenf The first part is from the scene where the grunt burn the humans hanging from something. The rest are songs of the Orc campaign.
very epic, imagine when u run with your char with this sounds, makes the game so much... intresting.
Does this play in wow vanilla? I only remember this song from wc3 rexxar campaign. the song is a remake of a wc2 orc song
Reminds me of when I had just graduated high school and I couldn't think of anything better to do than play wc3 tower defense games.
I did some snow shoveling today.
Walking through 3 feet snow with this playing in my iPod made it pretty nice.
I love how most of the people don't know this is a copied version of the warcraft 3 version
@DruidsGoPewPew dude all these short stories you post on videos are epic awesome good job keep it up!
Medivh
+Kåpla Kvëhla traitor
So medivhall

This, to me, is forever THE music of Warcraft.
I see Rexxar before me...
I just realize WoW have music from W2
damn I miss this version for 13 years
one of the reason why I like play as Horde in Warcraft 2
@mogh07 It's a remake of the song from Warcraft 2 called "Orc 2". It's one of the orc themes.
Today, these truly are the echoes of the past, remembering us on how WoW used to be epic one day!
Thats so surreal to read that in 2023
@Renton7Eureka7 It is from Warcraft III, however it is included in the World of Warcraft (Classic) soundtrack ^^
If there ever was going to be a movie or anything like that regarding Warcraft, AT ALL, I hope it is an series using top-notch regular animation, which has NO LIMITS!
My god...fckin good this music !!
The intro has been stuck in my head all day. Finally found the track. :D
How can you not like this?!!?
Oh man! The good old days.*tears* Now i'm sitting here with wife and a kid. No time for wow anymore...
RIP "Sniff" the undead rogue 2004-2009
@Netherw1nd They brought it back for WoW, it plays in Caverns of Time: Durnholde. (Which takes place just before the begining of the Orc campaign in WC3.)

Some people were wondering where in the "World of Warcraft" it appears.
It's part of Thrall's theme in Caverns of Time: Escape From Durnholde (Old Hillsbrad)
oh, thats where HS theme song came from :D
And this theme song is from a Warcraft2 theme song XD
on top of what he said this music acually appears in the cavern of time were u acually go back in time to do various famous missions from warcraft 3 so it is acually very fitting
Durnholde is one of my favorite instances, and not just because of the awesome song :)
As a owner of all the warcraft games i can confirm that this is used in warcraft 2, like Ukulelesean said, "It's a remastered version of the track from Warcraft 2"
guys it was in frozen throne , the beginning was at the horde campaign ; foundation of durotar

This should be the top comment
@DisneyClassicmusic
This song plays in WC3 in the Rexxar campaign, and in WoW during Durnholde Keep (when u escape with Thrall)
It's called "Orc 2" because it was played during an orcish mission, but considering both times its appeard in games have been in Hillsbrad, it can be considered more a Hillsbrad song than belonging to either side.

WARCRAFT 2

Mirkel Leliveld
OOOOH GET JUKED
BartiriX stfu schpeknek.
and yes, juked to the max.
Mirkel Leliveld
Omg I am a baconneck you know zhat!
Mirkel Leliveld originally this theme its from WC 2 even from the first orc cutscene
FOR THE HORDEEEEEE
Even though you don't play wow, the music itself is stunning! I liked the music even before i started playing, but the best is to fly above the landscapes and listening to the music - Wow is so beautiful!
It was, opening song for the Orc bonus campaign (staring Rexxar and Misha) in Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne
"The Title should tell you which feature of the Game this one's all about."
Newbies be like : "Pet battle ! xD"
As a long time fan of the games, I greatly appreciate the good songs they chose to put into the pet battles :P
In defense of the noobies, I love that they use this track for that, as well.
@TaylorToxic1 they´re working on it actully seemed to be in cinema at ca july 2011
Warcraft 3... i fucking miss you so much. Rest in peace, you will always be in my memory.
the warcraft movie better be epic with all this good music at its disposal
quality of blizzard soundtrack is just awesome. in diablo, warcraft, starcraft, WoW in all of this games is soooo great and awesome soundtracks. i love it
@RicoLen1 It also plays in the TFT Orc campaign all the time.
This song scared the shit out of me, when I played Warcraft 2 back then when it came out...
and this, people, is a perfect example of internet communication
"... Вот так вот дружище! Много лет я странствую по свету и уже устал от одиночества."
@nikola4honorable, you mean Warcraft 2. This is the "orc theme" from that game =)
This song is from Wc3 which is actually a remastered version of orc music from Wc2.
old hillsbrad is one of the coolest instances especially because the music
This is the same song that was used in the WC3 Bnet lobby, and the song itself is a modernised version of an WC2 Orc song.
Thank you. I was looking for it something about 3 months.
Song present in War II, War III and even in WoW.
Everybody who played one of those three game should know it.
Ahh, these good old days of sitting in WC3 lobby and "SOMEHOW" geting tired of this! I miss those days...I MISS BEING A NOOB, I MISS CLASSIC RP, I MISS SOTDRP, I MISS ALL MY CLANIES!
this is probally the most epic soundtrack in the warcraft series.
Blizz makes so many great soundtracks, these are one of the best
:(
@foreverkid Umm... it wasn't in WarCraft: Orcs & Humans... But 0:24 - 1:05 is also known as Orc Battle II, from Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness.
This song is like a mango... you have to experience it more than once to really like it.
So cool hearing this remastered version.
Epic.
I am holding all three WoW boxes in my hands at the moment and this Mature rating you speak of is nowhere in sight.
This song is not only in Warcraft 2 and 3, it is in wow 2 in an Instance.
A hard core Pet battle! FOR THE LEGION!
It was in Durnholde in old Hillsbrad from what I heard.
actually if you ask me what killed the lore was the introducing of the 'draenei'. those aren't draenei. those are blue russian spacegoat squid monsters
Ah, this brings back memories of playing Warcraft 3 virtually every day....
The song was in Old Hillsbrad instance in tbc though :)
I still have the WC2 soundtrack on my PC for nostalgia. WC2 Soundtrack was awesome.
I love this beat, the beginning drums are amazing.
Who else is here just for 0:00-0:23 ?
+Kåpla Kvëhla Nobody! We all come here for 0:23-1:05 :D
A pretty overconfident statement, but I believe you are among the majority.
+Kåpla Kvëhla I mean, it's great build-up, but the pay-off is just so damn good! :D
I came for the beginning too :)
I loved when you go into old southshore in the Cavern of Time. nostalgia.
trying to not cry but..........
