I had a cardiac arrest January 12 2018 (luckily I was in the ER) and this cartoon was what i was dreaming about while i was out. It's amazing how your mind can go back to time you thought you forgot........
I remember watching this when I was nine and at my grandparents house (because they had cable and my parents didn't buy it)! LOL! This show was just precious! :)
I didn't even know they made a cartoon out of this. I remember watching the two VHS tapes, that I had of Richard Scarry, over and over again. This is too cute.
One of my favorite shows growing up. just noticed Toward the end when huckle's counting down from one hundred it almost sounds like he says nine eleven
OMG! I so remember this from when I was little... LOL! Funny thing is I had completely and entirely forgotten about it until now! I remember watching this episode in particular when I was, like, 5 and it was on Nickelodeon, WOW!
Wait a minute. I used to watch this..... Was scrolling through a buzz feed article about forgotten cartoons and saw this thumbnail. Man this and Arthur were in tandem. Also I was born in 94’ but now I feel old. 😭
When I had my tonsils out at 18 in 2008, I learned that afterwards it's mostly water and Popsicles for the first 2-3 days, because the acidity from dairy like ice cream/yoghurt can actually irritate the throat and make the flesh bleed too soon. Plus the ice cream theme was from the mid 20th century, like the 1950s-1960s. And why was Hilda the Hippo on the roof at 2:13 LOL?
Rebecca Brose It was a joke. Because The Nostalgia Critic, whenever he sees something that he thinks is not suitable for kids, he sarcastically says "You know for kids"
When I had surgery when I was a teen, I was scared just like Huckle because I have heard horror stories of failed anesthesia causing people to be paralyzed, but awake and capable of feeling physical pain during surgery.
I remember watching this as a kid. I also remember being just as scared as Huckle before my first surgery in fifth grade. It wasn't my tonsils but on my arm. I had broken my arm for the second time and this time my radius and una snapped in half so they had to secure them together with metal plates and screws
Awww that must’ve been terrifying for a little kid. How old were you?? I know this is an old comment but I hope it wasn’t as scary and that you had a compassionate pediatric team
@@onewingangel1117 I was 10 and yeah I did the getting there and having to wait was terrible since I didn't go into shock this time. But once I was on the pain killers I was great while waiting for my surgery day. And I got a few gifts cause I was at school when the second time happened
Back in kinder and Pre-k, this show was always on, when ever I got home from doin so, I can still hear my big brother sayin to me, the same thing as usual towards me. "Don't yell or you might need your tonsil's out too, when that episode appeared on tv actually.
I remember getting my Wisdom Teeth out as a big operation back in late summer 2010 just me and my Sister in a dentist in Hixson, Tennessee since she had her's taken out last year i think!
that knock-out gas is so weird. i had elbow surgery a few months ago. they said, "okay, in a minute, you'll wake up in about four hours." just barely after they had the mask on, i woke up eating a popsicle and overheard that it was apparently my second one. i had no memory of the first one at all.
Yes, I remember this episode, above any others in this show, from when I was about 5 or 6. I forgot this show existed entirely until it somehow came up in my feed... that little apple helicopter in the intro made it all rush back! Holy crap!
It's weird that I decided to watch this episode at a time like this. I'm 22 and haven't had anything wrong with me until now. I have to go and get a wisdom tooth pulled out in a week or two and I'm pretty nervous. But I'm looking forward to ice cream and jelly afterwards.
yes the shows should still have the old Cinar Logo because The Smoggies and The Busy World of Richard Scarry were done under CINAR way before Cookie Jar came in and took over to the credits of both shows should still have the old CINAR logo
im on a nostalgia binge. i need to escape my adult life for a little while.
Tom sparkles
We all do at times.
I always need to scape my adult life, always. hahaha
Oh I do too. And most classic cartoons like this are the best way to do so.
@@gabydieppa typical millennial
I had my tonsils out when I was 8 and I watched this episode in my hospital recovery room eating ice cream
Goals
Inception
Do you remember what kind of ice-Cream it was?
I haven't seen these cartoons in ages.
I will definitely be showing this cartoon to my kids someday. :)
I think dr lion is the very first character from a kids show that I have watched that had face palmed... Oh the childhood was wonderful
Memories of my childhood! I've been searching this for a long time and I finally found it!
I had a cardiac arrest January 12 2018 (luckily I was in the ER) and this cartoon was what i was dreaming about while i was out. It's amazing how your mind can go back to time you thought you forgot........

I shouldn't have looked this up, now I'm going to be on here for hours.
Best kids show ever. (:
I’ve been searching for this for 4 years. I can’t believe it, I watched this in 2007 when I was 3 years old!
I remembered watching this children's show on television. I love these 2 characters.
I'm 28 years old and still like this
I didn't even know they made a cartoon out of this. I remember watching the two VHS tapes, that I had of Richard Scarry, over and over again. This is too cute.

Oh this takes me back. I wish I could make a time machine and go back to the 90s and watch these again.
3:01 Dr Lion: And this is where I lose my job since I'm showing you another patients private medical files
OMG! I so remember this from when I was little... LOL! Funny thing is I had completely and entirely forgotten about it until now! I remember watching this episode in particular when I was, like, 5 and it was on Nickelodeon, WOW!
I love this lot's. Busy-Town is so Rocking!!!
My daughter his books.
Cool on this, our blessed Grammy!!!!!
That baby bunny may be one of the most adorable, precious things I've ever seen in my life.
This was my show when I would stay home from school :) Good memories.
Total throwback! Love it 🤓🤓🤓
Me too!
I watched this show when I was a child .. Aaah childhood memories
I still remember this episode from when I was a kid in the 90's.
remember this like it was yesterday
Little goat: "The nurses are so nice and you get to stay up late -wink-"
lol
lmfao are you supposed to just waltz into a radiology lab? I love watching these shows after I'm older.
Man... I haven't seen this in over a decade. I TOTALLY forgot about it for the longest time.
LOL, how does Mr. Frumble hurt himself so many times that the hospital holds a room for him?
Frumble is pretty much what I would call a bull in a china shop.
Nick Wells You're probably right. I mean, if you were to wager a guess, how many times do you think Frumble gets sent to the hospital every month?
C.J. O'Dell Never heard of a hospital doing that. LOL! Poor Mr. Frumble
Missy Wiley He must get sent to the hospital like at least once a week by the looks of it.
*sigh* *smh* Poor Mr. Frumble. Looks like gravity is against him.
I was obsessed with this show. I had the stuffed animals, computer game, and a Lowly Worm birthday cake.
Wait a minute. I used to watch this..... Was scrolling through a buzz feed article about forgotten cartoons and saw this thumbnail. Man this and Arthur were in tandem. Also I was born in 94’ but now I feel old. 😭
"this is the emergency room. It's empty now, but not for long!" *pulls out glock 18*
wow i literally had forgotten all about this show until i saw the theme song now i remember
That opening is the theme music of my bright childhood--along with Eureka's Castle, Rupert, and Little Bear!
This is my favorite episode! :)
I really like the art style in this show. Im 20 and on a sentimental journey down memory lane 🤣
I watched this as a kid thanks for uploading these I plan to buy the DVDs from cookie Jar that has all the eppies from the 1993.
i watched when I was high af and I thought lil dude's family was plotting to kill him
Woah, It’s been a long time since I last saw this show!
In the time being I’ve got a job, engagement and So much more!

Suicide.......? You know for kids!
Joseph Marrison are you a child? What does your comment even mean!?
Rebecca Brose It was a joke. Because The Nostalgia Critic, whenever he sees something that he thinks is not suitable for kids, he sarcastically says "You know for kids"
Um, right.....
Rebecca Brose I was 15 in 2008 D: ehehe
My anesthetist was my mom´s cousin. She is so nice to me. I don´t fell a thing!. I scared the operation first. But now I´m 20-years old.
I remember seeing this when I was about 4 years old on Nick Jr.
That was amazing! :)
I miss this show!!
Damn. These memories are like a tidal wave.
I'm 32 years old and I call this good TV.
Talk about a HIPAA violation, letting them see Mr. Frumble's X-rays and all...
When I had surgery when I was a teen, I was scared just like Huckle because I have heard horror stories of failed anesthesia causing people to be paralyzed, but awake and capable of feeling physical pain during surgery.
I remember this episode! I used to watch this show on Nickelodeon before they jacked it up with shows like iCarly and The Penguins of Madagascar.
aww i use to watch this when i was younger
What a good moral. "it's GONNA hurt a little, but it's for the best so suck it up."
this isn't sarcasm, I actually genuinely like it.
I remember watching this as a kid. I also remember being just as scared as Huckle before my first surgery in fifth grade. It wasn't my tonsils but on my arm. 1:22 it feels like an intervention with all these people around

THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN DORA AND SPONGEBOB! I WANT THE 90'S BACK!
I'm going to the hospital next month to get a GI test, because I have very bad acid reflux.
i gotta say, this episode is a gigantic breech of patient confidentiality and hipaa.
I bet the cartoon of my latest memories as they least at the hospital.
awesome thanks.

This brings back childhood memories. This use to come on nick jr.
Memories!

oh my god it's real. I just remembered this because I have a cold and never forgot the song about taking cough medicine. X'''D
I had this VHS as a kid

6:06 cutest thing ever replayed it like 3 times!
I remember stuff like this, specifically for children but shown in such a sweet nice way. whatvdobthese poor kids have today?
@dmc97ingc It is amazing what you see when you re-watch these great cartoons.
I came here because some dude in another video said he was terrified by an episode of this show.
Maiti Dukku "T.
Maiti Dukku .
Cute little baby
Used to watch this as a child
When I was little, I cried at this one because Huckle couldn't eat any ice cream and I felt bad for him.
I.m also on a nostalgia binge
NOSTALGIA UGH!!!!!! *bangs head against wall*
Mr. Frumble is always chasing his hat.
It's the same doctor who does everything in the show. He even helped deliver Mrs cats baby in a different episode!?!?!
I was in the hospital when I was 3 months old. I had RSV
so... much... nostalgia...
My jam
It's weird that I decided to watch this episode at a time like this. I'm 22 and haven't had anything wrong with me until now. I have to go and get a wisdom tooth pulled out in a week or two and I'm pretty nervous. But I'm looking forward to ice cream and jelly afterwards.
Im 26 and currently getting a master's degree. it is perfectly ok to watch this.
Also how did Hilda get off the roof from 2:13
I love it for my baby
I love your viteos
Now the two of you can watch it together .
i wish i could go back to the 90s :(
But you can't . None of us can . Watch busytown and reminisce . It's fun .
I was watching this when i was 5
Nobody told Huckle he was being "put to sleep"! LOL!
HOW DOES LOWLY DRIVE....these are the questions that keep us up at night
Is it sad that I miss watching this show?
Huck reminds me of Bobby Hill.
I sprained my right foot last year and I had to go to physical therapy for a few months
I'm havin my wisdom teeth out this sure brings back memories.
Love it I sure do love those memories.
I just had one of mine out . Watching this helps me get over the loss . LOL
This reminds me of my adnoid operation before i turned 2 years old because she complained that i was snoring and it was only 10 minutes long
Tricia Cavagnaro What's an "adnoid?"
There is a deleted scene where Huckle and Lowly meet Mr. Gronkle in the hospital.
The only thing I remember from this show was the Paramount Pictures logo at the beginning.
I have this episode in a book.
As with the animated Beetlejuice, Dr. Lion is voiced by Stephen Ouimette. Maybe Stephen accepted the role in an audition.
6:08 awwwwwwww, what a cute baby
Im surprised they didnt do a reboot of this
Check amazon, almost all of them are on dvd in full and cheap
Operation is not danger
OHH MY SHIT! I REMEMBER THIS!!! Im freaking out. :O
Holy crap I remember this episode!
It's been recently recommended NOT to remove your tonsils.
yes the shows should still have the old Cinar Logo because The Smoggies and The Busy World of Richard Scarry were done under CINAR way before Cookie Jar came in and took over to the credits of both shows should still have the old CINAR logo
2:13, whats Hilda Hippo doing on the top of the hospital???
+broadwayindie Enjoying the view until she can visit someone else in the hospital?
