Thanks for the hot and sweaty tips Jimmy! I’ve been told it’s okay to go swimming so long as you put a feral pig under each arm like floaters. Then if a croc bothers you just toss them a pig.

Jimmy dont forget watching the only free to air tv channel that isn’t satellited from QLD or SA. And you couldn’t be-so far from Uluru the tourist get confused they think they can drive from Darwin to Uluru in a straight line and get their in 3 hours:)
Byron Bay will be great but they don’t have laksa for breakfast or four types of Esky. Darwin sounds awesome if I wanted to live somewhere too hot to move.
As a Darwinite, I approve of this message. True about the Berrimah Line, it's near JB HI FI, but not the one at Casurina. Edit: its a boggie, not a shower. You could have also added its called The Kath-rine, instead of Kathrine. And no Humbugging.

I’m soo excited to see you tomorrow night! Going to be soo funny. I’m one of the kids who grew up watching giggle and hoot, and now I found this channel. You really are raising a generation of kids here
AHHH oh my gosh, I only just realised that this was the giggle and hoot guy after I read your comment. I didn’t recognise him without the pj’s lol. I grew up watching him too, I have sweet memories of me and my siblings singing along to the intro.
Yes! "Beers, beers, beers!" makes it into a POV vid 😂 I lived in NQ for a few years and this vid could equally apply there 😂 You'd sweat as soon as you got out of the shower, and you had to put out an esky for the milkman's early morning delivery because it was so hot that the milk could go off before you woke up and brought it inside!
After working in Darwin for a few years, I had a work flight that took me to Cairns at the back end of the wet. They opened the door about 5 inches...and I froze! That's when I knew I'd been in the Top End too long! Aah, the memories!

Oooh I'm hoping for a Newcastle soon. A thorough roasting of my home town, including a reference to "Novacastrians" or how 'the best Novacastrians leave Newcastle' (only to eventually come back and complain that it isn't how they remember it).
As a resident of Darwin, you totally should’ve added a line about how all the middle schoolers always go to casuarina after school and how literally no store trusts Darwin middle school because of its bad reputation. Also the waterfront. Need I say more.
Jimmy could do a part 2 on us were like the underbelly of comedy - you can't make this shit up 🤣 I'm on mitchell street right now with my Darwin middle schooler 😂🙄

The mowing in the jocks thing is completely real. Our neighbour every Sunday would be out, rain, sunshine or freaking cyclone mowing his lawn in his white tightie jocks. No shirt. Sometimes thongs. 😂
Spent several weeks in Darwin last year. This is pretty spot on. But you didn’t mention barramundi which is on every menu. And nothing about the glorious array of indigenous art you can shop for which those of us from “down south” flock to
I love these Capital City ones, but it would be great to hear about some place in the middle of nowhere, with a cool identity. Guess you have to go where the audience is though, so super fair :)

Nah, more important than the eskies, are your sets of thongs, generally your around the house and gardening thongs, then your every day knockin about, going shopping and fishing thongs, and then your very best formal occasion, going out to dinner, weddings, Funerals, and Christening thongs (double pluggers mandatory here for formal occasion wear). And of course any Darwinian with any self respect at all, scrubs and cleans their thongs at least once a month - whether they need it or not.
Here are some ideas, Toorak/South Yarra, Noosa, Cairns, Port Douglas, Peppermint Grove, Fremantle, Double Bay, Nimbin, Coffs Harbour, Port Hedland, Margaret River, Barossa Valley. Loving this series.
