I, myself, have struggled with severe depression for my entire life. I am 64. I feel so, at peace and very comforted listening to this meditation. I play it often. I thank you for bringing much needed peace into my life. One cannot rely on meds...a lot of the time, they don't work! I've been on them since I was in my 20's. Thank You Andrea Kennedy. i didn’t know i could have depression until my therapist brought it up. playing this video, i can feel such a gentle, soft, warm and heavy (it feels like a weighted blanket) energy just flowing into my chest and soul and it made me cry

Why do I feel so sad listening these tones? I feel like my heart is breaking.
Perhaps emotions are surfacing to process and heal. Sometimes Reiki causes this but it is a positive sign of release snd progress. Muting to see any difference could be an interesting experiment.
Your sadness has been there all along..as andrea said, reiki brings it to the surface..this is a good thing because now you can face it and ALLOW reiki’s healing to truly reach you and begin to heal you…we never can heal by keeping these fears and anxieties hidden❤️🙏🙏🙏🌲 remember…ALLOW the healing and continue to meditate on this video (or the one with voice)❤️

So I have been listening to this everyday and my teenage daughter is also been in the room but she doesn't even know I'm listening to it and I swear her depression seems a little bit better. Is that possible? Is it possible to work even if you don't know it's happening or that you don't necessarily believe in this kind of stuff?

Yes you may intend to offer it and they will or won’t accept. It’s up to them even at a subconscious level. Reiki respects free will always.
