Years ago, I met-up with my father to have lunch with a couple of female co-workers of mine. They asked him if he knew any available, professional men. He asked, "what are you looking for in a guy??" In stereo, they both answered, "Rich!" I'm 6'3, made around 85k last year, have my own condo, drive a brand new vehicle, and I haven't had a date in 7 years (let alone some bedroom activity). Dating is a joke.
I’m 6’1 below average salary, own car own place.. I’ve been banging them left and right and my new LTR is 30yo and I’m 45.. but I’m probably a Tyrone light and I have some ok game as well. You are probably either ugly or awkward.. I used to be both so, there’s hope for you. Looks max and develop your game. But it’s not all fun and games out here. Most of the chicks I have dated are barely worth a pump and dump… even the ones that were 8’s and 9’s. I’m a man and I work in construction as a mason. I work very hard every day and I earn around 50 to 55,000 a year depending on overtime. I work five days a week 40 to 45 hours a week I built homes schools hospitals clinics, churches government building buildings factories, airports, basically everything society uses to be out of the elements and to feel safe and secure. Yet me and many other trades people like me are belittled and be by a bunch of ungrateful, self-absorbed, ignorant, arrogant egotistical people. Without us, you be all standing in the field huddle together to try and stay warm. What a bunch of ingrateful people.
I admire and have to say that I have always found men that do hard work from Construction to the Garbage very sexy. I have never been all about money I have wanted to just have a man that’s loving and faithful. Don’t lose hope we are out there just don’t settle.
I also do realize if our society didn’t have strong men like you we wouldn’t have any thing including our country.
I install and repair HVAC. Most have NO IDEA. Totally clueless!

Remember. When a woman talks about average for men, she is only considering the men that she deems fit for her, not all men.
They often refer to that so solipsism. Even when you specify average in a specific area they still cannot conceptualize beyond their own personal experience (which is what you're pointing out). They may even argue back with an anecdote as if that were even relevant when discussing statistics.

In the book "Settling for Mr. Good Enough", the author found that men had essentially 3 "must have" traits in a woman. They had to be reasonably attractive. They had to be warm and kind. They had to be able to carry on a conversation. She found that women had closer to 200 "must have" traits! She herself had trouble paring her own list down to sixty!

Michael is absolutely right. I live in LA, Miami and NYC. Most women have no clue how small the chance they have of finding a "high quality man". By high quality I mean of course tall, handsome, wealthy, intelligent, educated, social, generous, kind, unmarried and single with no children. There are 30 million single women in the US all looking for the same 10 guys.

Yeah, that's one of the funniest things is how low the percentage already is... and that's just the vanity standards. My now wife met me when I made $400/week in 2019 in Seattle helping take care of a friend who's health was deteriorating. This is below poverty levels. They passed away and I now make ~90k in construction and we're still happily married.
No offense to the ladies on the show, but that really puts things in perspective on how far some women have become removed from reality because of social media. Kudos to them for their honesty and I think it’s great that this content is being put out there. I like how they were able to talk about the things without going Uber political and getting nasty with each other. That’s also refreshing to see. My wife met me when I essentially had nothing to offer other than myself and a plan, she loved me anyways. She has stuck out the bad times with me and we've always came out stronger. I am so proud of the life we've built together.

I like how it’s less of a grill session and more of a interactive classroom lesson. Complete different vibe than the normal type of content set up like this. The host did say that he asks the women First what their ideal man is - in those categories. Since he didn’t, the women gave much lower answers to be closer to realistic. I think he said in Miami, women’s answers were much higher on what they expected the ideal man to be.
Be decisive, competent (learn skills and specialize in at least 3 of them that are practical and applicable to every day life), and stand up for yourself.
You might be surprised how much atrention that gets you from your desired dating pool.
