What they won't tell you is that many of the slave traders and owners from Europe were European JEWS🥸 JEWS had slaves in the NORTHERN states of America until slavery was outlawed in the northern United States in the 1780's. And many of the slave ships were OWNED by jews

Watching videos like this makes me emotional. I am Yoruba from Nigeria, and many people were captured and sold from my tribe. I have met many African Americans, black people from South America and even from Dutch colonies that look exactly like people in my family. More brothers and sisters should come back and see how our ancestors suffered and were shipped off against their will. Come home, the motherland wants you home!

Dammieh, Those people captured from Yoruba lands are not Yorubas, they were Igbos or Hebrews the Israelites that were scattered and settled in Yorubas land after the Roman empire persecuted and made the true real Israelites to flee the land Israel. Yorubas, Bini Kingdom the Oba linage which came from Yoruba, Hausa and Fulanis the Hamites in Africa were the ones that worked with red men to capture the Igbos or Hebrews the Israelites in their communities in Africa. SLAVE TRADE WAS PROPHESIED BY IGBOS OR HEBREWS THE ISRAELITES ANCESTOR RED MEN CHANGED AS MOSES (Deuteronomy 28 vs 32, 48 and 68 read in King James Version). Till today red men are still using Hamites to enslave and kill the Israelites called Biafrans today in the fake identity bondage called Nigeria.

@@biafrahebrewisraelite4467 please I myself is an Igbo but can you tell me if the Yorubas is not captured as well and sold into slavery why then especially Brazil blacks so many potions of them were influenced by the Yoruba cultures and even some of them still practices so many Yoruba cultures and languages today. I am not saying that they are all Yorubas but as long as slavery is concerned its cuts across every ethnic groups in Africa.

🤦🏾‍♀️ did anyone else have to continuously take breaks for this video? 😪 I’m dating a Ghanaian who told me about this castle last night and told me to look it up. I did, and can’t stop balling. I’m so ashamed of how I’ve lived my life so unappreciative. That is changing today! I now have my two teens watching this video. A trip is in order! I’ve already asked him to take me.

I just came here after reading "Homegoing" by Yaa Gyasi (an amazing book). This is the first video that came up while doing a search for "Cape Coast Castle Ghana Africa," and I'm so glad it was this one that I clicked on. Wanting to learn more about the Cape Coast Castle [that was in the book], I was not disappointed, at all, in this video! The Tour was amazing -- I'm so glad you filmed it... though I can't imagine the level of emotion(s) the tour must have brought forth. Architecturally, the Castle is quite beautiful and awe-inspiring.... but the horrors of what went on inside those walls shatters my heart and mind to the very depths of my soul. I know this video is almost three years old so you might never see this comment but, regardless, thank you so much for uploading this!!!

I learned about this place just today from a post about Steve Harvey visiting and being so overwhelmed with the spirit filling the castle. In my years of school learning about the slave trade, I don't believe I was ever told about places like Cape Coast Castle. I hope I can visit one day and learn as much as I can so I can teach my own students of the horrors that innocent men and women experienced in such a recent time. Thank you for this video.

White people(esau) are satans seed John 8:44 , the bible says so. Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Malachi 1:4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever.
God calls the caucasion race the border of wickedness and God hates them forever!
And they would have a perpetual hatred against the children of israel (jacob) the blacks hispanics and native indians the real 12 tribes of israel the teue israelites.
Ezekiel 35:1 Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3 And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
4 I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
6 Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
9 I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Mount seir home of esau/edom the white man. God says it.
Thats why they kill us still today and get away with it .
Zechariah 11:5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
They never have paid for the sins and evil they committed
Thats why God is going to judge them and wipe them out all together (isaiah 14 whole chapter)
At the end of the day it all goed back to cain and abel, esau had the spirit or cain (who killed his brother ) esau did the same and does the same till this day!
Christ is about to return we are in the last days and its time we reurn to theblaws of God as israelites. We went into slavery for breaking Gods laws.
And it was more then 35 million slaves
Judgement is comming all the storms extreme weathere earthquakes etc is the beginning of judging the nations who enslaved us his children

Church is from Satan so dont be surprised. Religion is from satan. And it is the pope of rome who gave the order to start the slavery (papal bull) wili pedia you can read it.
      A people who killed christ
Enslaved our ancestors killed millions of us forced a white jesus (ceasar Borgia ) upon us a sign of white surpremacy
Forced you to convert or die
Want to teach you about Gods laws ?🤔 And millions of black people still follow that garbage thinking they serve God in there
      Christ is black
Religion is not in the bible
Christianity is not in the bible
White jesus is not in the bible
Sunday worship is not in the bible , keep the Sabbath holy the sabbath is from Friday sundown till saturday Sundown in Spanish saturday is called sabado.
They even dared to change God laws.
It is a pridefull wicked people a seed of evil doers. And there is. No Good in them. Because God hath said it. He knows who he created.
It is of satan just like the white man is of satan.
Just like we are the israelites the gods chosen people is satans seed the white man.
Acts 7:48+49 48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
      The white man lies always
Steals drom every country including us as a people
      He is a murderer
He puts himself like he is such a honest noble people but he is the one doing all the evil on this planet
From wars to polluting our air , food, you name it and he is doing it everyrhing God forbids the seed of satan does.
Think about it . He is the son of perdition the man of Sin that will be revealed.
God hates them (malach 1:1-4 i en romans 9:13 )
The seed of Esau /edom they are and we come from jacob .

I find it very stupid that most African-Americans think that slaves were a group of people in Africa with no relatives that were captured and sold by other Africans who have relatives. I happened to meet my great grandmother who told me her great grandmother was captured and sold soon after her grandmother was born. Now, I know my great great great grandmother was a slave but how do I know which country she went to or if she ever survived that journey. I am African, not African American or Afro Caribbean.

Osei Tutu Tawiah is that what MOST African Americans think? Or is that what most of the African Americans you’ve spoken to think? Let’s use social media as a platform to educate and build up, not to generalize an ENTIRE group of people. I think it’s cool that you are educating us on your lineage. Also, I like your name. Thank you for sharing.

I have never encountered an African American that thinks the way you stated, ever. Everyone knows families were torn apart. We know we are connected. There have been and are African Americans searching for where they are from and a select wonderful few have been able to find family in the countries their ancestors came from. What you said was negative and not based on fact. I hope you are able to find your family that was taken from their roots one day.

@Purple Haze There's no denying that some of our ancestors were sold by other Africans; mainly the result of inter-tribal warfare in those days. In fact the Ghanaian president for example has not only acknowledged this but apologized on behalf of Africa. But please understand that much of what we read on this subject was written by Europeans and do not reflect the whole truth of the matter. I don't say this to attempt to deny or absolve our (yes, they too are our ancestors) African forebears of their complicity; no. But 'slavery' as was practiced back then was entirely different from what happened during the trans-Atlantic slave trade. We shouldn't also forget that the Africans who remained on continent were not spared by the Europeans. They too suffered from this evil in so many ways. Imagine what happened to the children whose parents were captured and either killed, sold off or died during the ordeal. What has become of those children? Yes, they remained on the continent but what has been the long term effects of suddenly losing their parents on their lives? What about the other relatives and communities that suffered this heinous crime? In general, what was the benefit of this terrible act for the Africans and the continent as a whole? The same Europeans, with their superior weaponry, colonized, oppressed and exploited their resources for themselves; a development that has them poor and suffering today. Even now, years after fighting to gain independence, neo-colonialism rules much of the continent and the exploitation continues in so many ways! That's the reality. I think the path before us is twofold: we can choose forgiveness and reconciliation, knowing we are one black family fighting a common enemy, or we can continue to allow the terrible events of the past to divide us, as we wage an endless war of blame. I think the former is a better course for us to take and I wholeheartedly applaud efforts in that direction. But I respect anybody's right to make a different decision for himself or herself.

Go on the comments section of videos about Ghana and you will find African Americans saying Ghanaians and West Africans in general are evil people who sold them into slavery. You’ll find them on Twitter as well.

So a church was built above the dungeons to make the slaves look up to the whiteman as their god when they prayed? 🤦🏾‍♂️

We need to stop calling this place a castle call it a place of torment and torture this is the first place some of our peoples lost them names land culture religion and way of life today they removed the physical chains and replace it with Christianity imagine a god listening to his peoples sending him praise while innocent black men women and children suffer and die a people that don’t know them past will repeat the mistakes of the past most Christians like to pretend this never happened and make excuses for this type of cruelty then again it is written in the bible to kill the men and take the young virgins for themselves we even give places names of our tormentors

I think the names Atta and Arthur have no relation
Arthur is an ancient name which could be traced from Greece with a meaning of Bear, signifying courage and strength.
Nice video by the way but sometimes I feel these narrators try to say a little too much
    No malice intended 😊✌🏼

    • @sonyadelight9755
      @sonyadelight9755  4 роки тому +5

I don't think he meant the names were based on the origins of the name. He was explaining that the slaves were given names that the white people could pronounce easier. So he was saying that Atta SOUNDED like Arthur so that is how the change occurred.
