Pete, you could make a 5 hr video of you just plowing, or just doing...farm stuff and I would watch it all the way through. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch. Relaxing, educational, and just plain GREAT! Thank you for taking the time to record, edit and upload. It really makes an enjoyable watch. Stay safe, and Hillary...great dance moves! :)
Yes I agree your efforts at filming, editing and uploading are excellent. You work hard and meticulously on this, too, as with everything else. Much appreciated.
I agree as well, I could watch a five hour video of him just talking about anything. He makes such great quality videos that are informative and educational as well as entertaining. Hillary is just a hoot to watch. They make such amazing team and great to see him building a new shop
The world is in order now. It's amazing how a video of a fella plowing a field with an old tractor, can put thing into perspective. Thank you guys, for sharing. Be well.
Pete, your rapport you have with your livestock is simply amazing. You call them and they follow is simply a testament to how you and Hillary are so kind and gentle to all of God's creatures. Never miss a video, really looking forward to watching the new shop being built. Take care and God bless your family.
That is how it is on the vast majority of family farms. The fact the average farmer age is 60 now means it's in danger of disappearing. We need to counter that.
Pete and Hillary, you two are the nicest folks. You do such fine work, Pete. My wife and I like to watch your channel as it reminds me of my growing up on my grandad’s farm. I am 66 years old and my wife is 62 and we have been retired for 11 years. We have a 35 acre farm in Virginia. Take care kindred spirits and may your life be full of joy and love from our Creator, Jesus Christ!
Pete, I have to admit something. In my 70 years I've visited many farms. All of them have had farm implements scattered all over. To my eye they were rusting and decrepit. I always wondered why they didn't haul them away and leave the property neat and clean. You have shown me why!
I like the way you included a little views/information of many tasks. The cows, my favorite, mechanic tasks, taking down trees, cooking.......something for everyone. Have a good week you two!
Congrats on your decision to build a new shop. I'll be looking forward to new projects as well as seeing you complete existing projects. I grew up with the red tractors as well as some green equipment scattered into the mix. Always brings back great memories. Thank You for letting me tag along for the ride. I always look forward to the next video.
So many memories, Pete, so many memories! Thanks for that! I'm 78 years old, and fondly remember when it was an everyday occurrence to see the M's, and the G's out plowing with the "non hydraulic" plows. What a treat that was!
Been viewing your farm happenings for a couple of years now. First time I'm noticing your left handed. Im sure you've heard this before but often left handed people are great problem solvers. Thanks for the free entertainment Peter!
That intro was a God sent, thank you Hillary!! I know your viewarship show how much you mean to all of us, the light you shine is beyond what I could say, God bless
Ploughing a field with a mouldboard plow and a MD IH Tractor to a farmer is just so satisfying, but also Pete to see the Cows ever so excited to be in the chicken paddock and having a great time shows how well you and Hilary care for your Animals. Have a day.
Me and my wife love your families videos. You'all are not afraid to work, your educated with common sense. Your jokes are corny, yet clean. Just what we need these days and that authentic smile when you get on a tractor. Keep doing what you do. We enjoy your channel so much from Oklahoma!
Very excited to see your new shop take shape, you'll certainly make good use of it with all of your projects! One thing I'd suggest, is to either get yourself a forklift for the shop or design the shop so that you can accommodate a small gantry crane. Even just an A frame with a chainhoist. I've seen a lot of older men struggle with declining physical abilities as they age. They still have no shortage of desire or enthusiasm to work on their projects but those heavy pieces get to be more of a problem as you age.
Morning Hillary and Pete . Lots of fire wood . So happy you’re getting a shop ,will make life easier . Watching the cows was such a treat. A great conglomeration of things that made my Sunday better . Thanks for sharing your time . God Bless
For me longer videos mean I get to spend more time with you guys, lol. I love all of your videos and really enjoyed seeing the plowing. I appreciate your time and effort as well. I'm excited about the new shop. I'm looking forward to more videos. See you later. ❤
Great video Pete! A few comments from an old guy who left the farm to my Dad and brother for a 55 year career in heavy equipment repair = Hilary wearing a t-shirt is watching you move cows while you are wearing 3 layers (?), a square head bolt is known as a 'farmer bolt', that green spray paint will help prevent another crack, did you have to put blinders on that IH tractor to get it to hitch to the JD plow?, oh how I remember the howl that went up when minimum tillage was first being espoused and the farmers were told they didn't need their mouldboard plows and 48 inch chisels. They got used to it and now they will sow winter grain right in the stubble of this years crop.
Family is EVERYTHING! I am an "only" with no relatives to speak of or to, so when I see multi generations of a family enjoying and working together I savor it. This channel is so wholesome it seems to make us all want to be a part of the family at A FEW ACRES FARM!
With all of the no/min tillage going on, you should be able to find a very affordable 3 point hitch plow at one of the auctions you regularly attend. Always good to see the older tractors getting a workout. Good plow day video.
I’ve said it before I’ll say it again you too live and your own piece of heaven don’t look at this as a Work but that’s something you enjoy. Have a long peaceful life.
I love how the cows run around like children on a playground when in a new field it's adorable and I love how u and Hillary call the rocks fish Stay safe and happy Farming Pete and Hillary.
Such a good video Pete. Happy Hillary dancing, happy cows dancing, and watching you enjoying that plowing was your happy dance. Everyone in the video and everyone watching had some smiles today. Thanks for sharing!!
I've watched your videos for a few years now & have always especially appreciated your in-depth restorations. This plowing video in particular brought back memories of 60 years ago, when I was tasked with plowing a 10 acre sod field here in southwestern Ontario. However things were reversed for me - a John Deere BR was pulling a 2 bottom (old, even then) International plow. At 13 years of age I could either sit or stand while plowing; I soon discovered that while standing, it put the steering wheel spinner in direct line of a rather delicate part of one's anatomy which became very apparent when hitting a buried rock - even when it tripped as designed. Nevertheless, that 84 year old tractor - now restored - sits in my shed today. Keep those excellent videos coming.
Poor cows will feel neglected with Pete so busy with all the projects in the new shop. Oh well. 😳. And.... the plow rehab then performance. So much fun. Thank you. 👍 And... the Tenderloin. Whoo Weee . Thank you again. 💥
Pete, I am beyond thrilled for you about your new shop. You have pulled out a new interest in this homesteading nurse! I never thought I would enjoy your tractor tinkering videos so much. I absolutely can't wait for the videos on the old truck. By the way, I sent you some pictures on instagram messenger of some old tractors my family and I saw on vacation. I hope you get a chance to see them.
That "old" technology helped grow a nation into the powerhouse it is today. It is not a surprise that it still works like a champ today. And...no computers or batteries needed! Thanks for sharing, Pete.
I really enjoyed the plowing Mr. Pete especially with the MD. You have some great looking soil. Here in the northern Piedmont of North Carolina, we have red clay. Great looking beef and we always enjoy a big smile from Miss Hilarie.
Those cattle have the zoomies! Nice old tractors! Love your old equipment! My dad used to have me smear grease on the moldboards when we were done with the plow for the season. They scoured and cleaned right up when we put them in the ground the next season. Beef tenderloin on the grill. You made me hungry! Absolutely the best! Hope you only cook it to medium rare!
Hillarie, you are a typical nurse with your quirky sense of humour. A perfect match for Pete. Pete, your dexters are just like dogs They run when they spot you and then, follow your commands.
I sure hope you are feeling better. I love that you drug (dragged?) that plow out of the weeds, it really looked hopeless, and you fixed it up with a few bolts, a couple welds and put it to work. (Maybe a little ore than that) I just think that is wonderful. Most people would have just put it in the junk heap. I am glad you didn't.
Hey Pete....I haven't commented in a while....just gotta say...first of all glad ur feeling better ...2nd.... its so awsome to see you doing tillage work ...for me personally it's a treat watching plows work the ground ...god bless you your family and ur farm ...great video!!!
I haven't seen spring tooth harrows since we used them 60 years ago. This is part of the reason I watch your videos - nostalgia. By the way, great looking cattle. Cows are so funny at times. I used to love when they were let out in the spring after a long winter of being indoors - they were so joyous!
Hillary and Pete keep it going. I enjoy everything you two do. Loved the dance. I am looking fwd to you new build of the shop. In the past I had three Morton building installed. Our son in-law is still enjoying his 30x45x16. It is big but not big enough. Will be watching every move. TC
I cannot tell you how much I loved seeing the cows go to the winter field and chicken field (same thing?) . Not only could I see their joy but I could feel it emanating from them. That kind of joy is so easily contagious and makes me grateful for my life. Good and bad parts. I, also loved the Hillary dance! Haha You go, girl!
i find this amazing at the cows coming to your beckoning call, freeking awesome, says alot about how you treat your cows, love it all, God bless you, thanks for feeding us
I was a bit bummed when you said you weren't going to build a new shop a while back. So glad that you are building something to support your passion. I have started fixing old equipment in part because of your inspiration. I need to get a wood stove in my small shop this year so that I can work through the winter without freezing my hands.
I am happy for Pete that he is putting in a new shop. It seems like a well thought out decision so it should turn out well. The more work he is able to do on it the more he will save plus the convenience of having the room to have multiple projects going at once.
Hi im pete, and welcome to a couple less trees farm ! Formally "just a few acres" farm ! And ms.Hillary was feeling her oats(being silly-playful) the morning u recorded this video !!😂😊 also glad to see ur dad lending u a helping hand !!
I always look forward to the new videos especially on Sundays im not sure which was more fun Hillary's dance or how excited she got about the rock in the plow😂 anyway another great video made by great people! Im excited to see the progress with the new shop as well as everything else on the farm. I relate very often as i have many projects on my farm and seeing Pete and Hillary always give me a positive outlook on things. One step at a time and dont get in a hurry. Sorry for the long comment but keep up the good work!
I'm thrilled at the news of the new shop coming! Lots and lots to look forward to. You two are kickin butt these days! Great video - Thanks for taking us along.
One of the best intro's we've ever seen! So happy you have decided to build yourself a new shop. Much deserved and we cant wait to see all the awesome projects you use it for!
Pete glad you're feeling better! When I restored my 1949 Farmall m I cleaned up and painted a two bottom Little Genius plow on rubber which I still use on about 3 acres my plow didn't come with coulters I'm not sure what they're called but they're like a tiny little moldboard that works just like coulters but it's still fun to use
Glad to hear you’re building a shop. I couldn’t wrap my head around your defense of staying in the small shop couple of months ago. Not that my option matters, but I think you’ll be happier and make better content with the new shop.
Pete, first off, glad you are feeling better. Really do appreciate your sharing both your older tractors, but also the older implements. History lessons, but also reiterating that equipment can be used for many years with the proper operation and care. Thanks for sharing. Very much appreciated. Look forward to future lessons. Take care & stay safe.
All your content is great. This is one of the better efforts you've presented. It's great to see the MD in good repair. Hopefully the valve spring issues are behind you. it's so good to see it working hard again. The grill scene and cooking tips are really appreciated too. If you ever decided to make a cookbook I'm sure it would be a hit! Blessings to your whole family and keep up the great content.
Pete, I'm so happy for you and all the hard work you accomplished over the 2024 season. II would also like to thank you for bringing us along for the journey. Seeing you post a new video always brings a smile to my face. I'm excited to see the new shop come to life! Do you plan on starting your dirt work this fall or waiting until spring? Thanks again!
Hi Pete Thank you for your Videos. Im watching you maybe since 3 years, im 24yrs old and from Switzerland. I like your decision for a new shop, i love your mechanic videos, even dough im a hvac guy. Like to see the progress, and maybe the finished tractor this winter in your "old" shop. Greets
Pete, in the book of Malachi the prophet says "like a calf leaping from its stall". I'm reminded of this each time I see the calves released onto a new pasture and they go forth leaping. Thank you for this video and we are rejoicing with you.
Enjoyed it. It was cool watching you plow and the smile on your face. The cattle jumping for joy was a trip. I am looking forward to the building of the new shop. I hope you show all of your prep work and then all of the building progress. Tae care, enjoy the Filet, I wish you shipped that, jack
Glad you decided to build a new shop. I know you'll get lots of use out of it.
Thank you Evan.
Agreed. It’s a big investment but will have a lifetime of dividends.
Loved the Hillary dance!
Was that YMCA MAGA dance?
Nope. @@johnmarlow2887
Priceless :-)❤️😁😁
Why are you cutting down these trees?
@ he’s building a new workshop and it was rotting
Pete, you could make a 5 hr video of you just plowing, or just doing...farm stuff and I would watch it all the way through. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch. Certainly is and certainly does ........ you know what I mean ......... a big G'day from Oz !
😂
Excellent
Doesn't it just simplify everything in what I would call a bazaar world right now.
Hillary, you are an amazing woman. You're hubby would be lost without you. Keep up the fantastic work!
Pete, your rapport you have with your livestock is simply amazing. You call them and they follow is simply a testament to how you and Hillary are so kind and gentle to all of
God's creatures. Never miss a video, really looking forward to watching the new shop being built. Take care and God bless your family.

Loved seeing the cattle playing in the field.
Pete, I have to admit something. In my 70 years I've visited many farms. All of them have had farm implements scattered all over. To my eye they were rusting and decrepit. I always wondered why they didn't haul them away and leave the property neat and clean. You have shown me why!
I love Hillary's dance, she seems like a quiet person, but she can kick it up when she wants to. Pete and Hillary are great people.
Lady's got some moves!
Have you ever seen cows so happy jumping and running and playing in all my life that was a joy to see thank you Pete for showing me You're happy cows
I like the way you included a little views/information of many tasks. The cows, my favorite, mechanic tasks, taking down trees, cooking.......something for everyone. Have a good week you two!
I was as excited to watch the plowing as the cattle were in getting into a new pasture!!! Thanks Pete for making my day!
This new SHOP journey will be awesome... Looking forward to all the builds... I voted for the shop ... 4 more Years .... Thank You Lord
Dancing Queen 😂 Lumberjack, mechanic, farmer, grill chef, husband…father 👍😎Have a good week
Good morning, Hillary. It's so nice to see your happy face this Sunday morning. My channel is also about farming, just like yours!
Opening scene👍 PRICELESS ! Can't wait to see progress on the shop.
The cattle ruled this video 100%. Was good for some laughs.
So many fun things happening. Dancing, logging, new pastures and plowing. Thanks for the memories! You
Another EXCELLENT video and such a treat for my Sunday morning. Thank you Pete and Hil!!!!
So many memories, Pete, so many memories! Thanks for that! I'm 78 years old, and fondly remember when it was an everyday occurrence to see the M's, and the G's out plowing with the "non hydraulic" plows. What a treat that was!
Sunday morning with Pete best way to start the week!
😊
I think any and all future plowing videos will become instant favourites. It's rare I ever call anything satisfying, but plowing dirt, that qualifies.
When you and Hillary measured the 40x60 i commented about my curiosity. Thinking maybe a new shop?? Yea for Pete a new shop. Well deserved. 🇺🇲💪
Life is good Pete and Hillarie!!! You’ve earned it!!
Great decision, Pete! This is something that you've always needed and we get to watch it come true! Thanks 😊
Good morning, Hillary. It's so nice to see your happy face this morning.
Our country will be much better soon of course we are happy 😂
Thank you Hillary for wearing a Purdue University T-shirt! My husband was a prof of Mech Engineering there for 35 years.
DYK Max Armstrong of Farmall Fame went to Purdue??
THE PLOWING LOOKS GREAT PETE.😊
Such a joy watching you make the cows happy, thanks all.
Good to see Hillary start Sunday morning video. Keep up the good work. Also glad to see your dad helping with the trees. Peace

Another amazing video, loved the cattle zoomies. They are very well cared for and know they are loved.
Great video. Not too long. You kept it moving, didn't dwell on one thing too long. Hilary's dancing was cute. Thanks for all you do.
I love he titled the video full of special things and the first thing he showed was his wife dancing. So sweet 💕
Such a good video Pete. Happy Hillary dancing, happy cows dancing, and watching you enjoying that plowing was your happy dance. Everyone in the video and everyone watching had some smiles today. Thanks for sharing!!
New Shop!! Yeah!! Thanks for this week's video Pete and Hillarie.
Best channel on utube. Real people. Need more channels with folks like y'all. So grateful you decided to have a channel.

This is exactly how farm life is. Many different tasks going on. Thank you for sharing.
great camera work Hilary, during Peter's plowing. Steady and always perfectly framed.
I really enjoyed the plowing Mr. Pete especially with the MD. You have some great looking soil. Here in the northern Piedmont of North Carolina, we have red clay. Great looking beef and we always enjoy a big smile from Miss Hilarie.

That 856 looks great sitting there! Great choice on the shop. No one ever has only one project going on at once. Life doesn't allow it.

Thanks. You made me hungry!
Wow, I think I want some of what those cows are having. I love to see them running and jumping with joy with some new pasture.
In this throw away Society it’s nice to see you restore machinery and bring it back to life
I'm thrilled at the news of the new shop coming! Lots and lots to look forward to. You two are kickin butt these days! Great video - Thanks for taking us along.

Your funny and fun and it was cute to see Hilary playful!
I'm sorry I didn't make time to watch this video sooner. Watching Mrs. Few Acres bust a move made my day!
Thanks for sharing the life with us!
Hi Pete
Thank you for your Videos. Im watching you maybe since 3 years, im 24yrs old and from Switzerland. I like your decision for a new shop, i love your mechanic videos, even dough im a hvac guy. Like to see the progress, and maybe the finished tractor this winter in your "old" shop. Greets
Good morning, you have the happiest cows lol . Enjoyed watching them frolic. Nice to see Hillary cutting loose 😂
The John Deere plow worked really well. I thought needs a few more parts and pieces to it but boy that thing Doug in deep I like that.
Great video. Congratulations on starting the new shop
Pete, in the book of Malachi the prophet says "like a calf leaping from its stall". I'm reminded of this each time I see the calves released onto a new pasture and they go forth leaping. Thank you for this video and we are rejoicing with you.
Glad to see Hilary's Purdue t-shirt! Hail Purdue!
I love seeing the MD out working. I just love the sound of that diesel engine. The two bottom plow did a great job.
Enjoyed it. It was cool watching you plow and the smile on your face. The cattle jumping for joy was a trip.
I am looking forward to the building of the new shop. I hope you show all of your prep work and then all of the building progress.
Tae care, enjoy the Filet, I wish you shipped that,
jack
Great news Pete. You will enjoy the new workshop.
