1q lookalike, all the listed algs assume the corners are on the U face, cancel/add more moves if your case does not match:
    U
    F2 U2 R2 U R2 U2 F2 U
    R2 U R2 U2 F2 U R2 U
    U2 R2 U R2 U2 F2 U R2 U
(I believe all of these work from any angle/mirror)
2q lookalike, all the listed algs assume the corners are on UFL/UFR and DRF/DRB:
    U’ R2 U
    F2 U2 R2 U F2 U “3-1 shift”
    U F2 U F2 U2 R2 U (doing the '3-1 shift' before this solution also works for some reason so that's cool)
And for 2c cases (6c is the same btw), assuming corners are on UFR/DFR:
    U R2 U R2 U
    U' F2 U' F2 U'
(You can do any number of “random” moves before doing the solution and it still works, if the simplest case works)
0c, this alg works but I haven’t figured out how to see what configuration(s) to do it from:
    U R2 U2 F2 U F2 U2 R2 U

ive been doing it like this since 2018
    hyper parity DN
btw also maybe add that if you try U or D and you get one of these cases it could be 4qt and worth it

I feel like this would help me, but I just have a very basic question: what is a bad corner?

True but then memorising the chart is kinda hard
