I love how in AA's video, it was a tale of gradual transition in Spiff, how the power eventually went to his head and corrupted him. Spiff's version of the story? Yeah, I was gonna establish dominance from the very beginning.
It fits the unreliable narrator trope very well. All have personality, and goals, and it shows how on each end the narrator is always unreliable if its in first person.
It's true power does corrupt. Just look what people do in video games when there's no consequences. Hack people up for fun. Just like in Doctor who when there was these things that evolved from humans millions of years in the future. They were summoned from the future by the master. And they were killing people. They asked why are you killing people you came from us. It said they do it for fun. Which sounds insane. But they were that far apart from us. We may as well look like mere monkeys to them.

It did not dawn on me when I watched Amphibian’s video, but when Spiffing said “I will hold the food” at 1:50 he had planned to become dictator from the start. Plus, it’s great to see other perspectives for all of the private intrigue, like how Spiffing planned on turning Rarr into his right-hand man.
The way PZ captures the apocalypse is literally what I’ve wanted to see in so much more media, you have control of literally ever facet. The setting, atmosphere and harsh mechanics go hand in hand, such a rewarding experience.
And also.. The zombies need to be smarter. Zombies in pop medias are dumb. It's dumb. If zombies were human, then obviously they need to have somekind of intelligence. Even if just like.. the intelligence of 5years old kid. That's why i love left4dead. The zombies smarter than in some popular medias.

I'm disgusted and dismayed that no item duplication occurred. It would be a joy to have an hour-long or so video of you and the interns making a base in this game if that's possible, whether through duplication or not

That fence scene reminds me if the time me and my friends went to raid copper from a burned down lumber mill. 8 men went on that adventure; only 3 cleared the fence. It made me question the effectiveness of my acquaintances in an apocalypse scenario.

I hadn't played this game in four years before I watched this video; so I updated and fired it up. Fifteen minutes in a zombie burst through the second-story bathroom door and instead of calmly raising my shotgun, I panic-clicked random buttons and stumbled out of the window. My legs were shattered, despite a small horde breaking my fall. Thanks, Spiff!
Yet another situation where Spiff does questionable things to his friends and it immediately makes me want to buy a game for myself and all the friends I had, if I had any friends.
Per your request for information on how to survive, I’d need a bag of charcoal, bag of sand, some gravel, a couple of 50 gallon drum barrels plus a bow, hatchet, pocket knife, cast iron skillet, jacket and a rifle. Everything mentioned before the bow is just for water purification/recycling. (Layer crushed charcoal, sand, gravel in the barrel in that order bottom to top and make some holes in the bottom. Axe to cut down trees/notch logs for making structures plus dig rows for gardening. bow for hunting, .22 caliber rifle for defense. (Ammo is more common to find in peoples homes and a small box can hold as many as 1000 rounds. So it’s lightweight easy to pack around. can be made much quieter than large caliber rounds with suppressors and has enough muzzle velocity to pierce a skull one way and not come out the other side. Plus with the right weapon they’re fairly accurate.) Go out in the woods and get to work. Pickup to carry everything plus serves as a makeshift shelter until you have a decent structure to live in. I put this here so if someone happens to read it and there is some horrible disaster where you need the information you at least have some idea of what’s important. Learn how to field dress an animal and tie knots. If you can work a welder or a tap/die set that’ll be really useful for you as well. TLDR: there are things more important to survival than a big gun and lots of bullets. If you’re curious read above. P.S. hope you never need the info.
Oh and bring a shovel because if you have to field dress, you’ll want to dig a decent depth hole to put the waste in, last thing you want is to draw predators towards your new home.

I started writing this whole long answer to surviving a zombie apocalypse and it dawned on me, have you ever seen an instance of a zombie drinking water? I'm not insinuating a zombie would die of dehydration like you or me, they are the undead, but they would literally dehydrate like beef jerky, they would eventually turn to dust. Even with the assumption they gain some sort of osmosis ability, go out to a desert, BOOM, zombies are committing suicide left and right.
This has to be my favorite video, i was laughing so much during this video. I had to watch it again. I recommend making more videos called "spiff and friends" it's absolutely perfect!!!
One thing they really need to fix, is when a zombie is trying to get up and you fail to knock it down again, it gets up and it's inside of you now you can't turn to the right direction to push it away when it's inside of you.

I would be ready to do terrible things in order to survive the apocalypse. I'd start drinking coffee so the zombies would be too disgusted to touch me.
The only thing you have to do to make this game as hard as possible - turn on Sprinters - dear goddess they are a whole different level of horror. Think you're safe? That split second you turned around a sprinter turned the corner and just barreled into your back.
Guide to surviving the zombie apocalypse: 1. Wear leather so you cant get bitten. 2. Get weapons that don't require ammo, or that have ammo you can make yourself. 3. Stay inside for like... maybe 2 months. By then all the zombies muscles will have decayed to nothing and the apocalypse will be over.
I unironically wrote a 400 page manual with step-by-step instructions on how to survive, should a zombie apocalypse come to my home town. You absolutely need to think of the unthinkable. Everyone involved had designated jobs from security to hunting, farming to cooking. We even had a designated job for breeders so we could repopulate, should our little colony be one of the few surviving pockets of humanity, who’s only job was to repopulate the human race. You gotta go to some dark places to survive an apocalypse, man.

I would gather up my crew and lock down a Lowes home improvement store. they are filled with things to fortify with, weaponize, and set up essentials like food and water supply. the building itself can be easily fortified and is large enough to contain a small settlement.
Well we (my family and I) would survive for at good long while. We live in a rooftop apartment with a fairly large rooftop garden - including a small heated greenery - all of it with hydrated by a rainwater collector with a 1 m3 tank (1000 liters capacity), and we always have ample supply of canned goods. Also I own swords and guns which would help... also the way the stairwell is made it will be very easy to block it from our side without permanently closing it... So yeah... We also have a solar array - so we would at least be able to keep laptops and tables charged for entertainment... and yes I know the internet is most likely down at this point - but hey - I think I could play "Colonization" for a good while without getting too bored! :-D ... Also we have a fireplace with a pot to boil water in ..... which means we can always make tea even if the power is down - and with an ample supply of rainwater - well I'm sure it will still be a great cup of tea.
If Terrible Terry can survive the Zombocom Apocalypse, that's an excellent sign for the rest of us. I only have a few of the negative statuses Terry had, so I think I'd do alright, if I had some good friends to share the burden with.

This game is actually pretty interesting. If you're into these kind of games then I would really recommend you try this game.
Don't expect a game to grind in much tho, you can literally die in a few seconds and lose progress of a month. Rather expect a harsh survival game.

I started writing this whole long answer to surviving a zombie apocalypse and it dawned on me, have you ever seen an instance of a zombie drinking water? I'm not insinuating a zombie would die of dehydration like you or me, they are the undead, but they would literally dehydrate like beef jerky, they would eventually turn to dust. Even with the assumption they gain some sort of osmosis ability, go out to a desert, BOOM, zombies are committing suicide left and right.

One thing they really need to fix, is when a zombie is trying to get up and you fail to knock it down again, it gets up and it's inside of you now you can't turn to the right direction to push it away when it's inside of you.

I would be ready to do terrible things in order to survive the apocalypse. I'd start drinking coffee so the zombies would be too disgusted to touch me.
When you described Terry in the beginning I was like OMG, he's literally me!
I've seen this 4 times now from most of their perspectives and it never gets old.
The only thing you have to do to make this game as hard as possible - turn on Sprinters - dear goddess they are a whole different level of horror. Think you're safe? That split second you turned around a sprinter turned the corner and just barreled into your back.
Guide to surviving the zombie apocalypse:
1. Wear leather so you cant get bitten.
2. Get weapons that don't require ammo, or that have ammo you can make yourself.
3. Stay inside for like... maybe 2 months. By then all the zombies muscles will have decayed to nothing and the apocalypse will be over.
I unironically wrote a 400 page manual with step-by-step instructions on how to survive, should a zombie apocalypse come to my home town. You absolutely need to think of the unthinkable.
Everyone involved had designated jobs from security to hunting, farming to cooking. We even had a designated job for breeders so we could repopulate, should our little colony be one of the few surviving pockets of humanity, who’s only job was to repopulate the human race.
You gotta go to some dark places to survive an apocalypse, man.

I think the best part of the video was that he played a smoking asthmatic.
This plus the start where you are sick, cold, drunk, house on fire and a glass shard in your groin sounds pretty impossible.
The best way to survive the apocalypse is to...
Step 1: raid Yorkshire tea and acquire control over the tea distribution.
Step 2: use the tea to start a crusade against all of the coffee drinkers
Step 3: build a wall out of the corpses of coffee drinkers and live happily ever after with the remaining stockpile of tea
My buddies cant figure out why I hoard all the tea bags we find. Nothing calms me after murdering my brother and friends due to possible infection like a hot cup of Yorkshire Gold. Thanks for the recommendation Spiff, best tea around.

I would gather up my crew and lock down a Lowes home improvement store. they are filled with things to fortify with, weaponize, and set up essentials like food and water supply. the building itself can be easily fortified and is large enough to contain a small settlement.

Well we (my family and I) would survive for at good long while. We live in a rooftop apartment with a fairly large rooftop garden - including a small heated greenery - all of it with hydrated by a rainwater collector with a 1 m3 tank (1000 liters capacity), and we always have ample supply of canned goods. Also I own swords and guns which would help... also the way the stairwell is made it will be very easy to block it from our side without permanently closing it... So yeah... We also have a solar array - so we would at least be able to keep laptops and tables charged for entertainment... and yes I know the internet is most likely down at this point - but hey - I think I could play "Colonization" for a good while without getting too bored! :-D ... Also we have a fireplace with a pot to boil water in ..... which means we can always make tea even if the power is down - and with an ample supply of rainwater - well I'm sure it will still be a great cup of tea.
If Terrible Terry can survive the Zombocom Apocalypse, that's an excellent sign for the rest of us. I only have a few of the negative statuses Terry had, so I think I'd do alright, if I had some good friends to share the burden with.
