To be honest i cannot believe i didn't thought about this, this would be incredibly cool to see in a survival 100 days, the mutants with high spawn rate would keep the parasites buisy and to stop their wild growth, but they also one shot you, and the constant fights will leave really usefull resources for you, like sketeton armor( is better than iron and grants you buffs) hammers, ender pearls, etc, imagine that

No, they start as the rupters or just parasited mobs, against mutant creatures who spawn as strong as the vid shows, my point is, they stop them before they become adapted and can give a true fight, if they always started as already adapted then yeah, but even so, the mutants would take most of their health for you to finish of (Yeah, i know adapted ones spawn too but you can use the mutant mobs to your advantage against them)
In case you didn't know, the Enderman screams when it rains and the Zombie and Skeleton regens when it's night or it rains so unless you know that and that's why you're removing the weather, you should consider implementing that factor in the fights.

You should've edit the sr parasites config file so that the mutants will attack the parasites on site thus making the fight fair since the mutants only attacks if the parasites attack them first.
if I remember and understand correctly, the strength and health of the parasites becomes stronger with each stage, the video apparently shows stage 1, if there was an enderman there, he probably would have won, he teleports other parasites/enemies to you so that they would kill you, and the enderman is very powerful there, he just can't be killed.
Would love to see mutant variations of all the new zombie types like the husk and drowned mutant husk could drain stamina or something I guess and the droned would at least have a trident or maybe a giant trident or maybe multiple tridents giving mutant skeleton all damage Bo enchantments would have also made a difference. Also mutant wither skeleton could have beaten them all with high damage sword and life still from the wither effect.

The main problem they had with adapted ones is because they are more bulky meaning more health and defense so they struggle sometimes
