That is a pile of beaver from one pond. Must have had one heck of a feed pile for the winter. Good to see you thin them out.

The bunny and tree huggers have managed to get beavers released back into our small island of UK, as well as lynx, I can see in a few years we're gonna have to be trapping them. Keep some small jars on hand, they can even be old bearded man jars, and smear your lure inside the jar, then turn it upside down on your castor stick. Just like that, you've got rainproof castor mound sets.

Never trapped bev, but after a little checking, I think we have some in my area, and with fur prices the way it is this may be the best way to go. Nice video.
Do not underestimate the number of beaver in any given area. They will always surprise you!
I used to use #2 coil spring traps for coon and 1 1/2 for rats and mink, on deep shore lines on lakes and streams.
That is a lot of beaver out of one pond.
I know way also. There is another beaver trapper out there somewhere using live beaver traps and that pond is his relocation spot. LOL 😆 🤣 😂

330 manic. Do you really like those beaver extremes more than the ts 85s? Ts 85s were designed by a guy from Minnesota, and is a bigger trap Also, I've never noticed an issue with "holding power" from any trap ever. Have you?
I like a strong trap that's fast. I don't like how slow the 85s close compared to every other 4 coiled beaver trap. I've talked to a few people that get misses with them. Could be the trapper too.
