- Welcome back to Simply Paula Jean!
Anna and I decided to take a quick adventure into the college town of Hanover, New Hampshire where Dartmouth College is located for a little girls day out.
Hanover is a gorgeous little town with loads of shops and restaurants to choose from. If you haven't visited Hanover, put it on your list!
Anna and I had a great time wandering and ever got to eat at the famous Molly's Restaurant.
Come join the adventure and let me know what you think! Have you done any fall adventuring yourself? Let me know in the comments and we can chat!
Very nice.
Lovely place
Just amazing from south korea:)
I'd like to add some historical facts to the name of Hanover: Hannover in Lower Saxony Germany is the namesake of all Hanovers in the USA. Hannover was named after a settlement called Tulifurdum in 150 AD, which was composed of the Latin terms tuli (I carried) and furdum (ford). The first proven settlement was not directly on the river "Leine", but a little away from the ford, where the first settlers were protected from the annual floods. The name Hannover was derived from the old German / old German Honovre. Honovre comes from the words "Hohes Ufer" (high German) which means high shore. Honovre became over the centuries Hannover (written with a double N in the original). Best regards from the original HANNOVER in Lower Saxony Germany.
Me and my friend together job in Hanover when we grow up
LOVE this. I visited Hanover once many years ago. I fell in love but at the time it wasn't possible to move there. It is a beautiful village.
It most certainly is a beautiful village. Any time of year, but fall is my favorite!
I was there in summer 2017, it was awesome. Peaceful, quiet and charming atmosphere. I loved it.
Hanover, NH is charming, I agree! Can't wait to return! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Hanover 😊
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I grew up In Grafton and Enfield. Traveling to Hanover was a big event lol. I hope EBA's is still there!
That's because Hanover has great shops and restaurants! 🥰 Not a big town, but a lovely small town with so much beauty! Thanks for commenting 😊
@Nora Holmes Yes, they have since then. Sad. 😞

This was very nice! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Curse you, you have made me extremely homesick! I grew up in Hanover and rarely get the chance to go home. Now I have to plan a trip. Can I send you the bill? Lol.
Seriously though, thank you for posting.
I hope you can make the trip back home!! 😄Thanks for watching! 😊
@@simplypaulajean7252 - I did make the trip home. Was so sad to see that the Dartmouth Bookstore had closed! Truly heartbroken over that one. Hanover High School had an open campus policy, and during my breaks I would often walk to Main Street and spent time in the Dartmouth Bookstore. Don't know if I can even get over the loss of that treasure.
@@jsmith1746 Glad you got back home. I didn't know the bookstore closed!! So sad indeed! That is a major loss 😥
@@simplypaulajean7252 HHS class of '86 here...had a visit last year and was so gutted to discover the loss of that particular store. uggh. Thanks for the pleasant video
@@dubkebab6307 Yes, I agree. Not sure why they closed up, very sad. Thanks for your kind words. Take care!
Beautiful!!!
