Need some idea about low lvl beta club, that dot duration a bit shorter hurts a lot, like Brainiac + Mr Freeze really hard to get 2 billion dmg

For black manta the best way is as follows.

True. But you would need maxed raid artifacts and a good level gemstone.
I normally use 8 star Manta beta, cww raid artifact and silver batman LV 7 gemstone and it usually one shots most bosses barring select ones like enchantress in this raid.
Using twin blades on Manta would work on lesser number of bosses as the power drain wouldn't be that effective.
Particularly bosses with high power gen you are better off with beta. But outside of high power gen and if you have atleast a 9 star Manta twin blades is also a good option.
Does manta need ascension 1?

@@AmusedDragonflies-it8nu If you are using him without raven and occasionally without Zatanna to try and one shot non-aquaman bosses then certainly ascension 1 is needed and makes a big difference. Particularly for beta which gives poor results with him prior to ascension and dramatically better results with just one level of ascension. However if you just use him to oneshot aquaman bosses which he can do without any support with either twin blades or batarangs then ascension is not needed. Further if you are just using him as support for beast boy or puppet wearers against tough bosses or chaos tagin bosses then you don't even need to build him fully. Otherwise if you are using him with Raven to one shot non-aqua's then also ascension is not needed. But he is a fun niche character.
