Huge Jinjer fan here, born and raised in Texas, and Vlad's English is 100% better than mine! Outstanding job!

This was great to finally see Vlad doing interview about his technique. With that said three high hats? I always thought he was playing with two, one within striking range and the other was a Tempo keeper. But three I love The Madness of Vlad

He uses a hat set up very low to the ground a lot, usually situated beside the kick as a "wash" hi hat. he keeps it low I presume to keep mics from picking up bleed. I have only really seen jazz drummers do this and even then, not very often. It's unusual but it sounds gnarly

as you say, "hateful" music has some of the friendliest people. perhaps it is an honesty - we are not afraid to express our darker emotions, which lets us have a healthy outlet, instead of pent up inside. every human experiences anger, but most suppress it. i always found most moshpits to be full of friendly chaos. people who act dangerously, get checked. the way wolf packs teach cubs manners 😆
