I like to have my house clean and organized, and my in-laws tell me that they don't care, but still. Plus, if you live over 30 minutes away, you should give a heads-up because you might have plans already or might not be home.
Yes I agree, I have this same issue and it bothers me so much. Many times we just want to be out walk around the mall or get some ice cream as a family just me my husband and kids alone and then once they show up it’s done we ain’t going no where 🙄

When i was younger my fam would go to other family members house unannounced but mainly on the weekends. I will say though it would be to relatives who my parents were really close to for the most part. And vice versa people would stop by at our house. I don’t see it being done with a bad intention but we didn’t have cellphones back then when we did it so if we were in the area and wanted to go chill with them there was no way of notifying. Nowadays though it is a little weird to not announce
