    Ground Up Built Charger Restomod 6.1L Modern Hemi V8 5 speed Coil-Overs A/C ///
    www.rkmotors.com/vehicles/358...
This slick Dodge’s detailed, ground-up restoration, completed by PRK Automotive of Mesa, Arizona, was applied to what appears to be a solid, damage-free body. Toss the billet-trimmed hood and you’ll find a stalwart, 6.1 liter Hemi that’s a delightfully refined take on old school Motor City muscle! That smooth-spinning mill, twists thrust to a proven Tremec 5-speed. That tough transmission spins a familiar 8.75-inch axle that’s wrapped around 3.55 gears and a quality Sure Grip differential. That drivetrain rides a massaged double A-arm front and 4-link rear suspension, which utilizes tubular control arms, a tubular crossmember and four QA-1 coil-overs to provide a killer stance. Turns come courtesy of power rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by big Wilwood calipers, which squeeze drilled and slotted rotors. And torque meets the pavement through chromed Rocket Boosters, which spin 245/40ZR17 Hankook Ventus in front of 275/40ZR18 Hankook Ventus. Pop the doors and you’ll find a tastefully customized interior that’s attractive without being overbearing. Modern bucket seats wear tight leather that’s bound by color-keyed French stitching. In front of those mitts, a custom dash frames Dakota Digital telemetry and modern Pioneer audio that’s complete with navigation. At the base of that dash, a custom console frames a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter. The driver spins a polished and leather-wrapped steering wheel around metal foot pedals and a tilting column. And this classic stays cool both figuratively and literally thanks to modern air conditioning. Looking for an awesome muscle car to cruise and enjoy for years to come?

Ipts ok, but I rather keep my Hawaii car I brought home with me. Which is a1972 Pontiac Grand prix, has a 486 with custom headers, zoomies, posi, and a whole lot of bad ass rides I can't fully tell you about!!!

Ehh, Yes..., they do get much more desirable! For example if they have a real Hemi engine and real wheels instead of those sissy wheels.

I can't stand modern sport seats in muscle cars . It ruins the look of the interior almost as much as adding cup holders.

The interior is terrible. It’s a muscle car. It’s not ment for “modernization”

Modded restorations sell for higher prices at auctions. Tide is turning for a safer faster classic car.

Can get a Lamborghini for a lot less! After having owned an RT Charger I can emphatically say that they are vastly overrated. First, they handle TERRIBLE with under-steer for days. Second, the stock engine is VERY SLOW off the line ~ you need an overhaul to even get it 500 HP. In fact the single ONLY thing this car has going for it is it's looks. Remember that old girlfriend that was pretty, but had 0 personality and was high maintenance?

Thanks for speaking the truth. As one who Was There when this car came out, everything you say is the truth. Car guys realized very quickly that these beasts were just a pretty body housing a big engine - and not much else.
The sad truth is that overly nostalgic people have been trying to make these machines into something they have Never been. Doubt this? Look at what a very short time these types were offered. These were just halo car wars between the Big Three. The only model that survived is the Corvette, because it was never a poser....

That's horrible. Those rims gave me aids just by looking at them and what the fuck were they thinking when they painted that rear panel red? I just hate "restomods". Disgusting.
