I have his moves in my head already. The regular attacks will be just common rebellion slashes, smashes will involve dsd and it's summoned swords for added range, down b will change styles and the rest of his b moves, his final smash would be judgement end and his parry would be royal guarding
@@wickedbutterfly5201 To add to this: Taunts are an integral part of Dante and DMC as a whole, so let's put to use the D-pad taunts in Smash be instead how you change styles. Left is GS, right is SM, up is Trickster but DOWN is the real taunt, which changes depending on the style Dante has (which can be his "special meter" like other characters). RG gets to be Blocking altogether and parrying while pressing B, which would be the style button on dmc, you get to do a royal release. They can even add different weapons for each style while on GS and SM respectively. For example, Down B while in GS is Shotgun's Fireworks, Side B while in SM gets to be Cerberus' revolver and so on and so forth. Man, Dante has so much potential as a Smash character, but all of this will remain as something less than a dream.

Though for taunts I initially had in mind that Dante would use the regular taunt cross as a way to have actual style ranks to increase and reap benefits like minor damage boosts off of. I like your idea better though. Also, the different weapons per special I already had in mind, similar to spinoff Dante in Playstation allstars
@Randoman it is to Co side that this is to be implemented with smash balance if anything. So 40% damage for FS and overall balancing for his other weapons. This doesn't sound broken it's simply gimmicks. Take Hero for example

I'm really amused that of all the enemies that can be forced to wear Faust hat, fucking BOSS DANTE of all things is the only one that it doesn't show up on. Like, I know why, but it's funny to me.
I find it pretty funny that Dante is the one enemy you can't make wear a Faust hat unless he wears his own. Even if it's just because he wasn't programmed with playable Dante in mind.
