I'm late to the discussion here but I'll put in my two or three cents. This shaver is sold under quite a few different brand names. I have this shaver sold as a Suprus. I've been using it for about two years and still haven't had to change the screen or blades and it still gives a great shave. I shave at least for times a week, sometimes more. As time went on, the shaver got louder and it's something with the noise of the blades when they vibrate back-and-forth. The trimmer is not good at all. The biggest problem is the life of the battery. I had to have the first unit replaced as it would only last for two-to-three shaves on a full charge. The replacement unit has the same issue and it's now done to one shave before it needs a full charge. Fortunately, you can use this shaver with the power cord which is something you can't do with all shavers. I paid $23.00 for mine, so I shouldn't complain much and it gives me as good a shave as far more expensive ones I've used.
Nice review! I am just wondering how long we can expect to use the razor without changing the foils and blades. Remington is giving us a 6 months when braun gice us a 16 months. Any idea?
Nice and thorough review, thank you! I was looking for a shaver and found your review. You're aware that it's marketed as a full-body shaver, right? :-)

I would say 6 months for this brand as well. And thanks!

Hi. When you shaved it, did you put any cream or was it dry?
Dry. I try not to use cream when using electric shavers.

Thank you Alex! I'm aware, but I wouldn't use it on my body as I have another grooming kit for that ;)
I wonder if you replace the blade with brun foil.. would it work better... Everything is made in China anyways. why not try it
My experience with Chinese shaver is they design them to be knock -offs of the pricey Brauns and Norelcos etc but they are junk.
