I was 23 when I met my Marine husband who was 34 at the time. We were married for 32 years until his death in 2018, 3 children, etc. He was the right one for me, considering the age difference. It's not for every one.
I started dating my wife when she was 24 and I was 36. Twelve years of marriage later, two kids, a house and two cars…..PAID FOR. Happiest I’ve ever been.

I never believed that relationship. I think it was all for image, he was to help her clean up her image and our people started commenting on the fact that he only appeared to be interested in non black woman. That relationship came out of no where and just as fast as it was here now it over. He was always etremely private about his relationships and all the sudden he public with her?! I never believed it.

I agree! He needs to find someone more closer to his age. At 25 I wasn't ready for marriage or children and apparently when he was 25 he wasn't either! They are in different places in their lives right now and unfortunately this happens when you have a 10 year span in age. He's ready to settle down and she's still finding herself (respectfully)

I believe Eva is spot on. Money can't buy you love, nor buy you a marriage you aren't ready for. She young and may not be mature enough to take that step and he may be thinking in that direction. Neither parties are wrong for not wasting each other's time if they're married plans aren't in alignment. That's the whole reason for dating/courting prior to marriage.
