Is the wick the issue? It looks like it's burning really hot. It may need a different wick. It's really awesome that you were able to capture this teaching moment. It could cost someone their life. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

It is. that flame is too large and you can see the wick is long and bent down. It is producing way too much heat. This is why we are told where to place candles and not leave them unattended.

Nice. It’s hard to depend on candle supplies

Wow! Yeah, that's burning way too hot! Glad you caught it during the testing phase...perfect example as to why testing is so important. Depending on the fragrance I use a .02 .375 or .03 .375 crackling no booster with this jar, and it burns just fine.

Yes! I cannot believe how that little jar started to crack and peel. 😱 I just poured a few more to see what happens. I used different wicks this time. 🤞🏾

Wow! I personally stay away from their metallic vessels. They seem to burn/get really hot vs when I use the regular matte or frosted ones. I use these 2.5oz and have had no issues but again I chose not to use the metallic ones.

The 12oz metallic vessels have worked well for me. Thank goodness I haven't had any issues with those. I have a few of the regular matte 2.5oz vessels so I will test those and see what happens. One thing I can say is these little vessels hold a big punch! That tiny candle lit up my entire sitting room.

Yeah, that's overwicked. You need to wick down!

I don't think that the wooden there would be recommended for that jar/jar size. A smaller wood wick should be tested or use the proper size cotton wick.
