I have already tried the "Bare mineral" mineral foundation because I have oily skin and it gave a nice finish but despite everything it dried out my skin. Very pretty makeup Julie, you are magnificent🤩🤩🤩
I am 70 years old and I have discovered that I totally prefer powder foundation over liquid. I have used the Jane Iredale Pressed Powder foundation with great success and I recently purchased her loose mineral foundation because I wanted to try that. I do moisturize my skin first prior to using the powder foundation. I often also apply mineral sunscreen after my moisturizer and before the powder foundation. I don’t experience any dryness and don’t have to deal with the product settling into fine lines and wrinkles like I do with a liquid foundation.
@@JulieMeikle hi! I would say that my skin type is normal to dry - right now, the mineral sunscreen I’m using is not one I would necessarily recommend. I picked it up in the drug store “just to try it.” It’s ok, but has a very white cast (I guess most mineral sunscreens do) that requires a considerable amount of rubbing in. It is Neutrogena Sheer Zinc.
The one powder foundation that smooths out my 47 year old skin and provides great coverage is Cover Girl Simply Ageless Instant Wrinkle Blurring Pressed Powder. So easy to use and I’ve already repurchased it. It was originally a recommendation from Jen Phelps here on UA-cam.
It looks so good on you 🥰 I think the eyeshadow looks great on you. It all came beautiful together. Your eyes are popping writh the orange shade. 😊 Big hugs from Denmark 💝🌹🥰

I haven't heard of that happening but I haven't been following the brand through the years. OMG, I tried a foundation tonight that I've been seeing everyone use.
