Wow did they just hibernate in that box on their own? That doesn't damage them at all?
It is in such boxes with flower soil that bumblebees hibernate. These were woken up after 6 months and are ready to build their own wild nest, according to the natural calendar.

Yes. After copulation, the queen buries herself in the ground, and after 6-8 months she wakes up and builds her own nest. We release only some of the queens, the rest we breed ourselves for farmers and gardeners.

We specialize in Bombus terrestris and Bombus lapidarius. Bombus pascuorum requires special feeding, and we don't have time for it.

Благодарен за ответ, а какое специальное питание? во всех источниках пишется только про сироп и пыльцу.. поймал несколько диких маток этого вида, хотел развести для сада. Лучше все же их отпустить?

No, pollen and syrup are the same as for all bumblebees, but Bombus pascuorum is a pocket bumblebee. Pollen should be administered differently than with Bombus terrestris. You can read about it on the Internet.
