I can certainly question Activision’s motives any day, after all they want to make money and controversy doesn’t help with that. But Iron is missing the point about why what Nick said is wrong.
As a teacher, I feel Nick insinuated things that aren’t actually happening in schools. Sex Ed is typical taught in 5th grade or after. Kindergartners are not involved in any of that. At most there might be one lesson that says something like “some families have 2 moms”, all G rated things. Parent-Teacher relationships are extremely important for schools and we need to start trusting each other more instead of believing everything we see online. The best thing to do is to go to conferences if you’re a parent, get involved, volunteer, chaperone. Strong schools make strong communities.
