A very good design and quality workmanship. When the two come together, the word to be used to describe the result should be perfection. Thanks for sharing
The piece was well designed and well crafted. What made it attract my eye was the marble top. That mix of wood and stone and/or metal seems to me to elevate any piece.
@@dcreationwoodworking3495 it won’t disguise a bad design or a bad piece of workmanship but I think it can lift a very good piece into being exceptional
Im a professional granite guy and an amateur woodworker ...great video. Love the build. What type of bit did you use on the shaper origin? It looked like you got those notches pretty squared out. Just curious how?! You'll have a 100k subs in no time...
Yes I just bought a shoulder plane that was something that I was missing in this bill to make the tenants perfect. It worked also with the block plane, but you have last reference to squared up.
Love the design, but not the marble. Might look better with a black stone with a flat finish, or even better with a wood top. As is it looks kind of gaudy. Just my opinion.
I do understand it's a tricky choice, but I wanted to try something different. Even a walnut top would be a great option, I think. tahnks for ypur opinion!
I grew up with marble top tables, I'd love to surprise my Dad with something like this someday, great job!
Many thanks it is very nice to combine stone and wood in my opinion
The marble was an amazing touch. You don't ever see that here on UA-cam. It compliments the walnut extremely well. Bravo!
Thanks, indeed you’re never seeing this in YT sometimes you just have to try something different
It's so elegance... Congrats... 👏👏
Thanks
Nice contrast

Thanks for your comment. I do agree on the fact that Metaal and Stone can allay a furnished piece really a lot.

Don’t know you could cut stone with a router! Very cool
Yea i thought why not give it a shot and it worked although you have to take really shallow passes so 14 passes for 18 mm in this case

Did you use the nicker on the block plane?

It's real quick for rabbeting tail boards off the scribe

@@dcreationwoodworking3495 I subscribed. I think the design of the base is great. I´ve added it to my what to copy next list. 😄
