I've to say while comical, this kind of opens your eyes to so many incorrect things portrayed in movies that you might've ignored watching it when you're were very young to comprehend.
But it has long lasting impression on the mind of people, especially those who might or might not have the best education or opportunity later in their life to confront issues on their own. People would say here, "it's just a movie", but I think it'd be naive to deny the kind of effect movies have on people in this country. I remember lot of 90s fashion sense was based on movies like those glasses SRK wore in DDLJ or all those long haircuts actors used to have.

Finally someone talks about how bad this movie is. The overacting over Karishma, her creepy laugh and the horrible way women are portrayed in this movie. And still Aamir is seen as the hero in the movie. The movie was only a hit because of the super songs and the kissing scène. Thats it. Horrible movie. Stop gloryfing this movie.
