    That was a good informative video showing the stepes involved in the install. I enjoyed this one a lot more than the video the actual owner did.

      Just for the hell of it why dont you upload the whole unedited 4 or 5 hour install? Obviously cut out the standing around talking and stuff but a real long video that we can sift through to the parts we want. I like the informative stuff. Im getting ready to do this as well.

    Andrew... What happens to all the mess on the Driver's Side? There seems to be no provisions for mounting the existing bracket with the various valves mounted on it.

    So 5k twinscrew + installment and dyno tune costs so 6 or 7k for barely over 100 hp gain? Doesn't seem worth it

    • @michaelharris748
      @michaelharris748 4 роки тому +2

      These arent 5 grand...even the gen 3 vmp is like 3-3500ish...the gen 2 2.3 vmp is like maybe 3 grand or so and im talkin new prices here. Also this isnt a twin screw its a tvs. He went from like 477 up to over 600 and is still on pump gas and heavily limited by that...this same car topped 700 on e85. As far as weather its worth it if you dont think its worth it to completely transform your car and put it into an entirely different league performance wise then by all means dont do it lol. Theres more to it than just peak numbers this will pick up huge power everywhere over stock blower.

    Nice power gain. What boost was the SVT running at and what boost was the VMP running at? Was the SVT blower pretty much maxed out already? Could a pully change on the SVT make the same power? Could the GT500 TB fit the SVT blower? I like how the VMP blower flattened the torque curve! Nice video (compliment to the ML video!!)

    It's funny how in just a few short years, 650 rwhp cars don't sound as impressive as they did 7 or 8 years ago. Now the benchmark seems to be 800-1000 rwhp for "King of the Hill" status. When do you think we'll hit the limiting factor ceiling (tire and road technology)? At some point, you won't be able to put any more torque to the pavement due to tire grip and road surface.

    • @stunna_CODM
      @stunna_CODM 5 років тому

      mark warner 800? Here in Texas 1000rwhp is barely anything we got tons of cars going into 1300-1500hp.

      I think its starting to already get out of hand. People just wanna have big numbers on a sheet they can brag about. Its hard to hook that kind of power on the street you gotta race from 70 rolls because you cant hook below that even with good drag radials many times. I think its stupid how people act like 600-700 is nothing...its something alright it can get you from 0-dead very fast or arrested. I like fast and i like hp but there comes a time when you gotta pull the reigns in a little and stop worrying about what everyone on the internet says or does. 600-700 rwhp is plenty for a 3600 lbs mustang...people need to start investing more in suspension and driveline mods and investing more time in learning how to actually drive good instead of worrying about huge numbers on a dyno sheet and downplaying anything under 1000 whp (which is ridiculous imo). I wanna get a terminator and build it eventually with a vmp blower...700 on e85 is more than enough for me. Theres more to enjoying a car than having more hp than everyone at sone point you just gotta go out and enjoy the car the way its meant to
      ..hard to do that below 80 mph without huge drag slicks which cant be run on the street. Even drag radials cant hold that kind of power. At 600-700 you can still hook ok with a good drag radial and suspension mods even on the street any higher and that becomes very very difficult if not impossible

      @@michaelharris748 you said brother. I could not agree with you more. What's the point in having all that power when you can't even use it? Not to mention always having to change shit up cuz I don't care what engine you're running that much power is bound to tear shit up eventually. For me, 600-700 is the absolute max I'm willing to drive on the streets cuz I love my car and I love my hard earned money even more lol. This hobby is not cheap that's for sure.
