Mine makes those same noises from the vari, I think I’ve narrowed it down to just the starter gears clanking around a little bit because they are a little loose lol at least that’s what I think it is

in the end it is a easy thing... your belt is slipping so u need stronger spring in the torque converter. i used to have on my stage6rt70cc high end setup an medium spring , i had fail ignitions because of that , no joking .. and acceleration was as bad as fuck. than i put in the hardest i can find and see then, it runs like hell. that spring was a gamechanger. keep in mind: the stronger the engine is, the stronger the spring must be !

In Denmark we put a Aprillia Sonic frontfork, and wheels on the jogs so we have lighter wheels and the disk frontend
