Tektronix 7904 oscilloscope fix the lit up push buttons #3 video scope with power supply down bench

If the 7904 scope is put vertical with power supply side on the floor or bench..
The lit buttons can simply be removed.
Apply some WD-40 and work the buttons as shown here.
Better solution?
