A few things to talk about and discuss. The southern mud racers overdrive (spin faster than the rear) their front tires to maintain a front wheel drive "directional stability" or "pull" the front end straight to give better traction. I know in the sand this will mean you will have to be more aggressive with the wheelie bar or rear shocks/springs to drive the front suspension into the sand to "bite" or get traction. Paddle fronts may be a help but I understand it may lower the chassis in the sand once the rear tires are digging into a rut already created by the front. Another drag racing tip by people in the USA are keeping the front track width much wider than the rear to increase front end stability when making steering adjustments. You'll notice how easy the sheet metal bending RC was able to flip over because it had the opposite dimensions (narrow front vs. wide rear track with) ( for example track width is the distance between the center of the chassis and where the outside edge of the tire is). Again this advice is from a random person on the internet, but I hope you follow up with your own research and I hope it helps. GREAT VIDEO!!!!
