Doesn't Amir have the common sense to realise that. they could have bought anyone to interview Amir but they brought russell especially to make the interview interesting and to bring laughter to people cause sometimes serious interviews can bore people. the people organising this would have mentioned to amir that he was going to be interviewed by a comedian and Amir too is naturally funny in his acting so why couldn't he just play along like a good sport and keep the interview entertaining by being a bit more jovial and funny himself.
