My favorite Leo has always been the 2012, but 2003 is a very close second. That's just my opinion, but yeah. 2012 Leo was the most relatable, understanding, and real to me. He had such great development and felt like a real teenager. He was an awesome leader and protecting big brother to the others, but wasn't without his flaws, which made him feel so natural and real. Someone I related too way more than any other version of him, or even any other media out there. Having to carry the weight of the family and is in charge of rebellious siblings who talk back and don't listen, but cause problems and really make things so much more stressful and end up causing the anger problems (Not as much as Raph, just that rising anger that appears when others talk back and disobey everything) when there was originally none. 2003 Leo was the justice side of Leo where he stood strong from the start and started out as the most skilled of the four. He had his ups and downs, but was pretty much the most stable of the four and understood the rules and principles of fighting better than anyone. As great as he was, he felt a little too unreal and not very realistic. He felt as though he was an adult, as did all four of them, which didn't stand with the title for me, but he was still amazing.
2012 Leo all the way. He had personality and grew to becoming a much better leader. This next one goes for all the turtles, but I LOVED the why they all looked! I thought it was actually so cool that the brothers were all a different species of turtle. Raph being a Alligator Snapping turtle, Leo a Red Eared Slider, Donnie is a Spiny Soft-shell ( Which is why he has a self made 'battle shell' to protect him) And Mickey is a Ornate Box Shell. I absolutely LOVE this show! I hate that it got cut short and we missed so many lore and character building episodes. The fact that people wont even give it a chance because they look and act different from the other TMNT shows also is a bummer. April being...the most batshit over the top character imaginable while still being the most down to earth is impressive writing. Very different but 2012 April having special powers wasn't? April being black is somehow bad but Baxter Stockman being black or white in various incarnations isn't? Every new show reinvents the Turtles drastically. There's a real double standard at play when it comes to how Rise is judged on first glance alone. Some people act like Rise is Next Mutation 2.0, when it's everything that show wasn't. That show was goofy to the point of stupidity and disrespectful to the franchise and audience. Rise is creative, subversive but faithful in a lot of less obvious ways. Incredibly ambitious and masterfully animated, giving the best anime has to offer a run for their money in the animation department while still feeling very western in a lot of ways. And I will die on the hill that Rise Donnie is the greatest incarnation of him we are probably ever going to get.
Rise Leo is my favorite. In season 2, Raph wasnt a good enough leader, so Leo has to step up. At first, Raph was only leader because he was oldest, and was more responsible than leo. Raph was shown a bad leader, and Leo becomes more responsible during the last few episodes of the show. And in the ROTTMNT Movie, He is shown the 3rd most responsible Leo.
It's like the dynamic between Aurther and Thomas Shelby in Peaky Blinders. Raph acknowledge his responsibility of bein the oldest and should be the one taking care of his family but doesn't have the talent to be a leader, while Leo shows very lil hints of his natural-born leadership throughout the series since it's just part of his egotistical personality but since he doesnt have the responsibilities of bein oldest or appointed as leader, he just carefree while also backseating Raph through some missions
Tbh 2012 had all 3 of those things he had great development in the show he was always serious about training and everything in general but was goofy and geeky when he wanted to be aswell and ofc the relatable part you already named
1987 Leo is decent but the rest of the turtles steal the spotlight at the time being. I'm not saying 1987 Leo was technically bad, it's just he was paled in comparison with his brothers. 2003 makes Leonardo my favorite Turtle. Whatever I think of a great leader who’s honorable, encouraging, mature, and sense of justice, 2003 Leo is the best example I can think of. 2012 has the most relatable and realistic Leonardo. Even though he’s a leader and is responsible to watch out for his brothers, he’s still acting like a teenager who’s geeky about his favorite show, likes to have fun, and does make mistakes. I love his character arc where he grows as a mature and honorable leader. Rise Leo was ok. I get they tried to do something completely different with Leo, and as much I love Ben Schwartz, but meh wasn’t a fan of Leo’s new characterization even though I grew to enjoy Rise as a whole. I Hope the Rise movie will do something good for Leo. 2003 and 2012 were hard to pick which one I like the best because I think they’re awesome in their own ways. But I have to choose, I think 2003 is a little better. And if I have to point out one problem I have with 2012 Leo his relationship with Karai was creepy since she is Splinter’s daughter. Granted, it’s not disturbing as Luke and Leia’s relationship from the original trilogy because at least they’re not biological brother and sister but still, gross.
Agreed I didn't like how Leo and karai were liking on each other. I wasn't a fan of the turtles digging humans raph in 2012 to me for it right go for a space lizard as a gf
@@kobebrewster2549 Yeah. And its obvious the writers didn't like it either since, the moment the sibling thing was revealed, the relationship ground to a halt. The other issue I had with 2012 Leo was the favouritism from Splinter that, whilst Lampshaded, still lingers. Rise Leo to me feels similar to how X men evolution handled Cyclops. I liked it. Also, he was pretty sassy.
@@christopherbennett5858 yeah I get what you mean by the favoritism Splinter showed him. I think it became more apparent deeper into the show. The 03 didn't show too much of that favoritism but that version is very much so obedient to his father to where even raph called him splinter Jr it reminds me how cyclops was with Xavier in the 90s X-Men
@@kobebrewster2549 doesn’t help that, being formerly human, 2012 had a ton of baggage. However, unlike Rise, it wasn’t called out. That’s why I draw the comparisons between Rise and Evolution.
@@christopherbennett5858 rise to me had some good ideas and such I think it was too overly comedic for me. I think the comparison with X-Men evolution is correct because a lot of people crap on it even there was still some good stuff in it
2003 Leo has always been my favorite and has one of the best character development for the character. Being a strong leader, a honorable warrior of bushido, and strives to protect his family and the innocent. It was amazing to see his growth in the show 1 arc being how angry and full of rage he had because he felt so helpless that he couldn't help his family during one of the final fights with the Utrom Shredder and felt he let his family down so he had to travel to see the Ancient one to overcome his guilt. While he was gone Karai felt the same anger and rage Leo felt and tried to kill his family and once he returned and defeated her he told her you remind me of a Turtle I once knew. Poetic Justice.
Leonardo is my favorite turtle and I just like 2012, IDW, and 2003 Leonardo! 2012 Leonardo displays a Boy Scout learning to take responsibilities throughout the series and IDW and 2003 Leonardo displays a kind, loyal, and serious Boy Scout. I’m always gonna remember Leonardo as one of the greatest Blue Characters in Pop Culture History alongside Sonic The Hedgehog, Sly Cooper, Genie from Aladdin, Sully from Monsters Inc, Dory from Finding Nemo/Finding Dory, and other greatest blue characters and I’m always gonna remember Leonardo as one of the greatest superhero leaders alongside Superman, Captain America, Cyclops, and Jason Scott the Red Ranger.
8. Christmas Leo, Rockstar Leo- don't count as actual characters 7. Bay Film Leo- very paint by numbers version on the character 6. Batman vs TMNT Leo- love letter to the franchise version of the character 5. 1987 Leo- more defined than pervious versions mentioned but the 87 series just isn't my bag 4. 2007 Film Leo- has an actual character arc 3. 1990 Film Leo- similar to 2007 Leo but much better at emotional scenes 2. 2003 Leo- most accurate to the original source material 1. 2012 Leo- take the strongest elements of versions 6-2 and put them in one version.
@@Artryom How's Rise comparable to teen titans go of all things? The animation and visuals alone are stellar. Especially compared to crusty ass teen titans go and their backwash calarts..
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 Technically, Teen titans GO! and ROTTMNT both have Stellar animation and visuals and there's times where every hater of each gotta go "Wow, I loved that!!" but that doesn't make it good ... but with comparable story to that of TTG! because they're both aimed at young children, ROTTMNT is just another goofy and silly child pandering remake like Thundercats roar and Teen titans GO! of the original more story driven, serious and badass Teen titans 2004 and Thundercats.. I wanna say... 2012-11? Like TMNT? Seems to be a trend going around... Not that 2012 TMNT was anything like those other two but compared to this? Ye... Not the original versions of each, I guess the ones folks hating both shows grew up with I mean... So, you're just an exceptional TMNT fanboy that transcend the need for quality and is willing to ignore it's flaws I guess... You belong to those exceptional few but if you say ROTTMNT is on par and can be compared to the 2012 series in story and quality and character development... HA, what I said about you is proven. Take it as an insult or not.
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 My point is it's comparable because it's essentially following the same trend of a few other shows... Based for Children after a more serious and badass version basically just ended, while jumbling around A LOT of what made the original pre-teen to teen version great and itself. I mean... RAPH IS THE OLDEST AND THE LEADER?! Uh... That's a foul.. Even the visual and animation while as great as it is, is still dumbed down compared to the 2012 and it has a brighter toned like TTG and Thundercats Roar with their predecessors. It's following the trend of diamonds in an ocean of pure shit. someone who did a teen titans GO! Video essay and explained why it isn't terrible like folks think summed it up with that saying and it's so true.
So happy to see 2012 Leo being ranked so high! Child me had a crush on him for like 4 years?? Weird kid stuff aside, that show was my first real introduction to TMNT and I was in love from the first episode. Not only is the intro the best bop out of all the other shows (imo) but the characters have nice, unique designs, real flaws, and they continue to be fleshed out over time. They all have their own very human problems and perspectives that made me become more thoughtful on certain things but Leo always took the cake for me, as he had to grow up faster/had a lot more character development than his brothers. It felt like he was rlly growing into being a leader, learning self sacrifice, becoming more mature, but in a real way. That season 2 finale will always send me s h i v e r s . If it weren't for 2012 I never would've gotten into TMNT 2003 either, which is a close second for me! It was so cool finding out how many references there were in both shows to the old movies. Fun video you've made :)
2003 and 2012 I would say was the best it's so hard for me to choose between them because both of them were very developed by the end and I grew up with them
2012 all the way!! Anything you ask me about ninja turtles about which is better, 2012 all the way. Also, you ever feel like the 2007 design of the turtles looks really identical to the 2003 one instead it’s… 3D?
Leo was always my favorite Turtle, I admit as a kid is was only because he was blue and used dual katanas, since I grew up with the 2003 show It came as a suprise that the ROTMNT version is actually my favorite incarnation of the character. Leo has always been the leader of the team which is how it should be but because of that his personality mostly revolves around loyalty and discipline, one of the reasons a lot of people have him as a least favorite is because the others are known for their personalities and before his was just "The leader". 2012 tried to shake it up by giving him a more geeky personality with his love of old sci-fi shows and I dig that about that version. The reason I love ROTMNT version is because they gave him this very laid-back and chill style of cool "Devil may care" personality which is my favorite type of character archetype. Yeah the show is a little too goofy sometimes for my tastes and some of the character changes are really strange (Splinter, April, Casey) but I respect the effort that went in to make things intresting. Plus they constantly show why Leo is a better Leo than Raph so it's clear they intended for the switch up and it wasn't some dumb mistake like in the song "Turtle Power" anyone remember that?
And plus the Rotmnt aren’t that bad of characters, it’s like once you watch more of the show you could see growth of them, they were good. and they’re getting a movie
Ah ye, Angry, Smart and goofy… yeah, very bland and generic personality types anyone can remember so they would be known for those… Some people can’t keep up with the excellent writing and story that goes into Stern and heroic and disciplined characters. So ofc something so bland and basic they could… I myself was one of these many, many folks… So no insult obv..
Unfortunately, the reason you love Rise Leo is basically just Ben Schwartz being Ben Schwartz. See: Reboot Dewy Duck, Movie Sonic the Hedgehog, Jean-Ralphio in Parks and Rec...etc.
2012 is just amazing, such rich character with development. 2003 is cool, but quite too perfect. And in fact I liked 2007 Leo, the design was perfect! And of course - Mutant Mayhem Leo is simply adorable.
I grew up with 2012 so it has a special place in my heart but 2018 will always be my fav, just because they have so much personality and the designs are on a whole other level
Yeah it is the best it has everything The villains everything about 2012 tmnt is great the farm house How ruthless shredder is and how very cautious splinter is not to mention how very well karai is written the other tmnt don't hold a candle to it not even the original
@@deadpoolcoolkidg1222 yeah 10/10 storyline , the charcter design's are great. Aswell. Its just the live action turtle's didnt have good character build up at first
2003 and 2012 are the only two with real character development from the animations. I haven't read a ton of the comics, so I'm not sure about them, but both 2003 and 2012 Leo get lengthy character arcs where they both change throughout the whole series, and really a lot more than their respective brothers. I think I would personally give it to 2003 Leo myself, as when looking at their respective character arcs, I think the 2012 Leo grows up, but the 2003 Leo grows wise. By the end of the 2012 series Leo feels like he's matured and become an adult, but he still has much left to learn. By the end of the 2003 series I feel like Leo is this nearly unequaled Ninja Master, rivaling even Splinter and the Ancient one. And it wasn't just because of his training. He changed as a person, reflecting on his defeats, his role in his family, and who he really is, becoming this wise master. Honorable mention to the Rise Leo, he got some good stuff towards the end of the series, and I'm looking forward to seeing the movie. Like a lot.
My favorite versions of Leonardo (Leo): 1. 2003 2. 2012 3. IDW 4. 2007 5. The Next Mutation 6. 1987 7. Michael Bay 8. Batman VS Ninja Turtles 9. Mutant Mayhem 10. 1990 11. Mirage Comics 12. Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 13. Christmas Special
2003 leo is peak character he's my favorite version of leo. I just love his design. The long headband ties off the serious look it fits perfectly, and his whole story arcs are so amazing. It always upsets me to see when people claim that Leonardo is "boring" or needs to be depicted in a more goofy manner across the franchise, because I feel it misses the point of what makes him so great of a character.
Was hoping 2003 Leo would make it to at least top 3, so glad he’s number 1! Absolutely love all the character development he got in the 2003 series, plus just love that series overall, I thought 2012 was good at times and I actually think the humor of him in 2018 is nice (but only the humor) but 2003 Leo is my all time fav and so far always will be! 💙
I think every Leo has their quirks and traits that make them really likeable but I’m a little bit biased toward 2012 cuz I grew up with that guy, he was cool and I still really like that moment he has in the finale of s2 and in the Usagi episode
After the movie I feel like the rise leo will have a lot of growth he became a leader at the end of season 3. It sorta shows something that Leo could’ve been a fun dude until he became leader But 2012 is the best of course
Of the 4 turtles, my favorite is Leo. When I started liking the TMNT franchise at age 9 and seeing Leonardo in action, it was admiration at first sight. Although I still like Rafael, Donatello and Miguelangel a little bit, but anyway I prefer Leo.
I like the 2012 Leonardo in space in 2012 in season4 and I like the 2003 Leonardo in season5 because the teenage have super power and also the dragon fighter was bad ass
Leo is by far my favorite character in TMNT, so this is of huge interest to me. Here’s how I rank the various iterations of Leo over the years: 1) IDW Leo 2) 2003 Leo 3) 2007 Leo 4) Mirage Leo 5) 2012 Leo 6) 1990 movie Leo 7) The rest Only versions I really dislike are Next Mutation and 1993 movie Leo (too goofy). Rise Leo is just different. Doesn’t feel like the same character at all but for what he is, I respect it. The Rise movie made me appreciate that version better.
Yes 2003 Leo was the GOAT of Leonardos, 80's Leo will always be a classic, when I first saw the 2014 turtles in theaters I honestly thought bay Leo was badass, 2012 Leo was an amazing portrayal as a leader and brother of the turtles, and rise Leo.....eeeh I wasn't to sure about him until i watched the rise movie and the show, he turned out to be one my favorite leonardos 🐢⚔️
one thing i think he got wrong was 2014-2016 Leo because he said "why not make human sized turtles?" But in the movie, April (Megan Fox) says that the turtles were 6 feet tall. The average height of an american male is 5'10" so...
2012 Leo is my favorite. I loved watching him mature throughout the series and was inspired by all the leaders from the shows that he watched. 1990 Leo was cool as well
I’m glad someone else agrees that the 3rd movie from the original trilogy was the worst. In my opinion I think the 2nd one is the best out of the 3 because I grew up on that one. I didn’t watch the other 2 until I was in high school.
People always forget about the later darker version of the CBS turtles. I really enjoyed those as a kid and its one of my favorite versions of all the turtles and not just Leo. It reminds me of the 2003 turtles but with a more 90s flare.
I’d say rise Leo should be above Michael bays Leo because I enjoyed him more. Admittedly I didn’t like rise Leo at first but he grew on me compared to Michael bays Leonardo. Plus I feel like he’s a lot similar to the classic Leonardo. Wish the people who made the show got more seasons to develop him. But hey, maybe the movie will green light more seasons
My favorite Leonardo is: 1. 2014-2016 I understand alot of people don't like those turtle designs but i gotta admit i think they look pretty darn cool and i like the leo design and the actor portraying him. He was a pretty good leo. 2. 2012 his development was well done and I actually like the whole leo and karai date fighting scenes. Those two chemistry remind me of leon and ada from resident evil franchise. 3. 2007 his training and scenes in the movie was amazing. Definitely a good leo 4. 1990 5. Idw Comics
It should have been leo from the 2012 tmnt at number one he loved his family and leo and his brothers grew a lot for years and through those years they learned to love each other that's why leo from the 2012 should had been number one best leo ever.
Not to opinion bash but I feel as if the 2003 Leo bc he never gave up on things such as protect his family, take down both uuptom and demon shredder , find his brothers when they were invaded and last but not least never gave up on making sure Donatello returned to normal
2003 leo is best even tho I grew up with show. The reason I figured this is best is leo is shown that he wants to better himself and his brother's. If you watch a vide called moody leo moments from 2003. You can see his issues and frustration with his and brother's problems. 2012 is second because the geeky thing leo was doing was weird thats Donnie's area not leo but I do like how they did the style for other characters. Karai was surprisingly thiccccc and splinter looked interesting. Leatherhead was menacing but cool and Casey....🤦♂️ was idk I liked 03 Casey better.
I give the 2012 version of Leo credit, unlike the other ones, he actually has personality aside from just being the leader.
Ikr same with 2018
In my opinion the 2012 show was my favourite tmnt show
Also we got to see how he became a better leader throughout the series which made 2012 Leo so much better

I love the 2012 version so much also its nice to know I'm not the only one who still likes tmnt A bit after its age demographic
My favorite is 2012, 2003 is pretty cool too though
8. Christmas Leo, Rockstar Leo- don't count as actual characters
7. Bay Film Leo- very paint by numbers version on the character
6. Batman vs TMNT Leo- love letter to the franchise version of the character
5. 1987 Leo- more defined than pervious versions mentioned but the 87 series just isn't my bag
4. 2007 Film Leo- has an actual character arc
3. 1990 Film Leo- similar to 2007 Leo but much better at emotional scenes
2. 2003 Leo- most accurate to the original source material
1. 2012 Leo- take the strongest elements of versions 6-2 and put them in one version.
no rise?
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 Rise is comparable to Teen titans GO! Of the TMNT series if ya get my gist…
It’s trash essentially..
2003 and 2012 I would say was the best it's so hard for me to choose between them because both of them were very developed by the end and I grew up with them
The 2012 Leonardo was my favorite version every hand's down
I feel in love with him 💙🐢⚔️
2012 all the way!! Anything you ask me about ninja turtles about which is better, 2012 all the way.
Also, you ever feel like the 2007 design of the turtles looks really identical to the 2003 one instead it’s… 3D?
I think it definitely have some inspiration to it
Matti the God Eater Smash Bro, THANK YOU!!!
Ah ye, Angry, Smart and goofy… yeah, very bland and generic personality types anyone can remember so they would be known for those…
Some people can’t keep up with the excellent writing and story that goes into Stern and heroic and disciplined characters.
So ofc something so bland and basic they could…
I myself was one of these many, many folks…
So no insult obv..
Unfortunately, the reason you love Rise Leo is basically just Ben Schwartz being Ben Schwartz. See: Reboot Dewy Duck, Movie Sonic the Hedgehog, Jean-Ralphio in Parks and Rec...etc.
@@GamerMinilla dude that is not true, the voice actors doesn’t depend on how good the show is
2012 is just amazing, such rich character with development. 2003 is cool, but quite too perfect. And in fact I liked 2007 Leo, the design was perfect! And of course - Mutant Mayhem Leo is simply adorable.
Here's my top 3 favorite verions of Leonardo:
3rd Place: 1987 series Leo
2nd Place: 2007 animated movie Leo
1st Place: 2003 series Leo
The 2012 version is the BEST
I grew up with 2012 so it has a special place in my heart but 2018 will always be my fav, just because they have so much personality and the designs are on a whole other level
The 2012 Leonardo is my all time favorite, the show at all is the amazing shit bro!!!
The 2003 Leo was my favorite turtle from my childhood. Tmnt was the best 👌
03 Leo is easily my favorite.
2014 Leonardo all the way. Love the designs of all the 2014 turtles. Johnny Knoxville does a great job and puts a lot of maturity in Leo's voice.
I feel like the 2012 is the best ⛹🏼♀️in story build up
Yeah it is the best it has everything The villains everything about 2012 tmnt is great the farm house How ruthless shredder is and how very cautious splinter is not to mention how very well karai is written the other tmnt don't hold a candle to it not even the original
@@deadpoolcoolkidg1222 yeah 10/10 storyline , the charcter design's are great. Aswell. Its just the live action turtle's didnt have good character build up at first
@@omglop2761 yeah
Like a lot.
My favorite versions of Leonardo (Leo):
1. 2003
2. 2012
3. IDW
4. 2007
5. The Next Mutation
6. 1987
7. Michael Bay
8. Batman VS Ninja Turtles
9. Mutant Mayhem
10. 1990
11. Mirage Comics
12. Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
2012 TMNT was THE TMNT show! That show is literally my childhood! So sad they ruined the ending! 😢
GREAT NEWS! The apocalypse is NOT canon is an alternate reality
It sorta shows something that Leo could’ve been a fun dude until he became leader
But 2012 is the best of course
Of the 4 turtles, my favorite is Leo. When I started liking the TMNT franchise at age 9 and seeing Leonardo in action, it was admiration at first sight. Although I still like Rafael, Donatello and Miguelangel a little bit, but anyway I prefer Leo.
I like the 2012 Leonardo in space in 2012 in season4 and I like the 2003 Leonardo in season5 because the teenage have super power and also the dragon fighter was bad ass
Ngl I think nostalgia has you by the neck
ROTTMNT is the MY FAVE LEO!! Coming from a long time TMNT fan (since I was 3) Leo's never been my go-to up until Rise. HE'S AMAZING!!!
Leo is by far my favorite character in TMNT, so this is of huge interest to me. Here’s how I rank the various iterations of Leo over the years:
1) IDW Leo
2) 2003 Leo
3) 2007 Leo
4) Mirage Leo
5) 2012 Leo
6) 1990 movie Leo
7) The rest
Only versions I really dislike are Next Mutation and 1993 movie Leo (too goofy). Rise Leo is just different. Doesn’t feel like the same character at all but for what he is, I respect it. The Rise movie made me appreciate that version better.
The 2012 was my favorite and this was my first teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I first saw And it was awesome so if this one is my favorite one 🤩
2018 Leo did NOT deserve to be that low
2012 has to be the best tmnt series imo
Yes 2003 Leo was the GOAT of Leonardos, 80's Leo will always be a classic, when I first saw the 2014 turtles in theaters I honestly thought bay Leo was badass, 2012 Leo was an amazing portrayal as a leader and brother of the turtles, and rise Leo.....eeeh I wasn't to sure about him until i watched the rise movie and the show, he turned out to be one my favorite leonardos 🐢⚔️
Grew up with 2012 but 2003 I came to love
I grew up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I mostly love. How.Leo was a leader.
03 Leo is absolutely my favorite version of Leonardo
2012 Leo is too swag.
My favorite Ninja Turtle💯💙⚔
In my opinion even though the 2014-16 movie Leo was big, he’s top 3 on my list
The only issue I had with the 2014/2016 version was Leo didn't get enough screen time, I feel like raph was shown the most out of everyone
I grew up with 2012 but 2003 Leo is so cool he’s definitely my favorite
one thing i think he got wrong was 2014-2016 Leo because he said "why not make human sized turtles?" But in the movie, April (Megan Fox) says that the turtles were 6 feet tall. The average height of an american male is 5'10" so...
03, 07 and 12 are the most accurate depictions of Leonardo 🤝🏽
Also why do i feel like if Donatello had more skill pratice and combat pratice. Hed be un stoppable
Yesss 2003 Leonardo is the best one and the best developed one our of all the incarnations
I absolutely love Leo from 2012 I love his voice before it changed
My top 5 are
5. Comics
4. Classic
3. 2003
2. Rise
1. 2012
The Christmas turtles singing was always so funny to me.
My favorite Leonardo is 1987 Leo.
For me I love 2018 rise Leo he was just too good 😌
My favourite Leonardo 2012
2:15 wait. I thought Leo was still a red eared slider while his brothers were a different species in this version?
I’ve always like 2012, 2007, 2014-16, and 2003. In this order.
2012 Leo is my favorite. I loved watching him mature throughout the series and was inspired by all the leaders from the shows that he watched. 1990 Leo was cool as well
Would have been nice if 2003 Leonardo met 2012 Leonardo
Yea it definitely a miss opportunity would of been awesome
2012 is my favorite version always! He’s my comfort character I love his energy and growth. I’m a lot of people agree with me.
you better re-rank Leo from 2018
The movie changed my perspective on him
I’m glad someone else agrees that the 3rd movie from the original trilogy was the worst.
Tbh i think 2012 and 2007 has the accurate Leo
My favorite turtle, Leonardo. I like the 2003 and 2012 leonardo ( mainly 2012) because both had great character developments💙
Christmas turtles looked horrifying holy shit
TMNT 2007 looks more like a video game than a movie or show.
2003 turtles will always be goated
My favorite Leonardo is:
1. 2014-2016 I understand alot of people don't like those turtle designs but i gotta admit i think they look pretty darn cool and i like the leo design and the actor portraying him. He was a pretty good leo.
2. 2012 his development was well done and I actually like the whole leo and karai date fighting scenes. Those two chemistry remind me of leon and ada from resident evil franchise.
3. 2007 his training and scenes in the movie was amazing. Definitely a good leo
4. 1990
5. Idw Comics
3:15 Song? I've been trying to look for this one.
Wow Leonardo Was in this video
TBH, I liked the 2007 TMNT film because it was *Imagi Studios* (a studio that did what Disney and Pixar could not).
My favorite version is the 90's version because I like his design and he could be relatable sometimes
Solid list!
Show UA-cam who's BOSS and SMASH THE LIKE Botton and SHARE with a Friend!! And Now That I Finish Ranking All 4 turtles Whats your Starting Line Up??
2003 and 2012 are top. Rise is ok but meh just too much wild and Mikey related
My top favorites are definitely 2003, 2012, and 2014
My favorite is the 2012 because I love him
It should have been leo from the 2012 tmnt at number one he loved his family and leo and his brothers grew a lot for years and through those years they learned to love each other that's why leo from the 2012 should had been number one best leo ever.
Not to opinion bash but I feel as if the 2003 Leo bc he never gave up on things such as protect his family, take down both uuptom and demon shredder , find his brothers when they were invaded and last but not least never gave up on making sure Donatello returned to normal
TMNT 2007 is one of my favorites… if not my favorite. I loved his character.
Leos sword in the 2016 was awesome and the batman designs were ok. Big leo fan myself but Raph is growing on me.
Those kid show specials and stage shows were fun as kids.
Also the next mutation was alright.
3:18 sounds like Ratchet learning from his mistakes
Michael Bay Leonardo is my personal favorite 😎
2007 Leo
Rise Donnie
1990 Mikey
2012 Ralph
My peak team
2012 easily the best and 2012 everything is better
1. 2012
2. 2007
3. 2003
4. Batman vs tmnt
5. 1st Movie
6. Orginal show
7. Micheal bay films
8. Rise
2012 leo is the best
Putting rise Leo so low is a crime brother!
