Nice one Reuben. I have been riding this board since June and agree with everything you say here. Great board on the flat but is very challenging in chop. I am going to use it for the Great Glen Challange this year so wish me luck!
Hey Mitch. Im really glad you agree. This board could be a great board for the GG Challenge. Good luck and remember to let us know how you got on. Thanks Reuben
Mate, I'm glad I've seen this. I've been very tempted to go to this for GC! At the minute I'm on a bluefin sprint 14 and it is massively too wide! Have you used it in any serious chop yet?
@@NorcoKyle yep It works ok in chop but is this is a very wobbly board. Managed the great glen challenge on it without falling in and it got very hairy on the second day. If you want an all round board dont go for this one. If you want something that goes fast on flat water it is ideal. Side note - I have done a bit of down winding on it and it works but the nose does pearl a bit
Hey Alex, The jobe boards all look ok, But very different to this race board. This board will be much faster and go in a straight line but not much stability.
Thank you so much for your work and for this video 🙏🏼 Ruling out the narrower 14x25, do you think for a light 63kg athlete the 12.6x26(270L) version would be the best choice, or the longer 14x27(310L) version should still be faster? Thanks a lot 👋
Hi and thanks for the comment. The longer 14' x 27" would be faster at top speeds, but if you don't have a lot of power when paddling then the 12'6 might be better choice as this would be more manoeuvrable and easier to handle at your weight. For distance racing and faster touring the 14' x 27" may be the better choice, but shorter races and when conditions are bumpy the 12'6 would best. Thanks and hope this helps. Beau
Yeah iSUPs but on really flat water the fastest iSUPs aren’t that much slower the hard boards now. Or aren’t as slow as you would of thought! Thanks Reuben
Good morning, what is the difference in performance (speed, time difference in 10km, sea weather,,) of the itiwit 14 25 vs starboard sprint-inflatable or all-star or all-star 14.25.5 delux? it's really worth this extra money . thank you so much
Good question. I think speed wise these boards will be very comparable. And you're not really paying the extra money for the extra speed. You are gonna be paying the extra money for the more refined board and finish and the package as well and of course all the environmental awareness that goes in and around starboard but as a brand. I will say though that the flatter rock a line board of the itiwit will have a limitation when it starts to get choppy and bumpy and the inflatable all star is a little bit more forgiving in these conditions. thanks Reuben
@@SUPboardermag thank you so much. I have a Gong 14 28 sup designed for rough sea days. very wide tail.... it is itiwit 14 25 I think it would be a perfect complement
Yes you are absolutely right, there is enough physical volume to take easily 150 kg for example. BUT at 25" wide, a heavier rider will find it much harder to use especially if there is any surface chop on the water. That's why we have given it a recommended rider weight of 80 kg. Does that make sense? Thanks for the comment and hope that helps. Reuben
@@SUPboardermag Hi Reuben, can you please explain why a heavier Ryder would find it more challenging in chop. Can't write get my head around that one. Cheers. Paul
Thanks for doing this review much appreciated

Good Luck :-) I'll try to watch the race ans look for toi on UA-cam !
Love your channel! Are you going to review the itiwit X100?
We are not planning to at the moment. But I have seen it and like all Itiwit's it's a well made good value iSUP. Sorry Reuben
Great review. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Hello.
What about Jobe Neva 2021 12'6 or Duna 11'6? How good it is compare with this board. Speed, agility, rigidity, resistance to wind and waves?

@@SUPboardermag Super kind and helpful, thanks a lot!
How do you think it would be for a 45 kg rider?
It would be pretty good. Probably still best performance on Flat water though.
When you say it's amongst the top fastest boards that is iSUP only I presume?

Pity it's only availableas 25. Definitely looks like a fast isup.
28" would be better (personally) especially for choppy conditions!
Available in 27 in novembre :-)

Is the 25’ wide legal for most isup races? I’ve heard rumours it may not be?
Hey Chris, we haven't heard of any races that aren’t allowing 25 wide boards. Where have you heard this from? Thanks Reuben
Looks like they now sell the same board in a 27 wide option now? Have you have any experience on it? Thanks
I haven't, but it will offer you that much more stability which for many paddlers will be a good thing. Good value board. Thanks Reuben
up to 80kg paddler? is this for kids?
Nope, just lighter weight paddlers or with good balance. If the board was 26" wide it would of been much more usable for more paddlers.
why only 80 kilo, if there is over 210 liters (290 total) extra off floting volume?

75kg is not a average weight
